Unbelievable, my poor dog has kidney failure and I called and explained the situation that we are new to the state and that my dog was at the end of her life and needed to be put down. The lady refused to help me she told me we weren't established with them amd hadnt spent money there, so there was nothing they could do. Are you kidding me? Instead of helping me put my animal down properly she blows me off because we're new?

Terrible customer service and definitely don't have animals best interest at heart at all. Already a tough situation for anyone and Gate City Animal Hospital doesn't care to help anyone that doesn't spend money there prior. Definitely all about the money and not the care. No thank you, I want a vet who does what they do for the love of the animal.

I had an emergency with my dog, I was there when they opened and they took him right in. Performed tests and screenings so when the vet got there she was able to review everything and give a diagnosis. They called multiple times to keep me updated and put my mind at ease. Dr Heather is the best and I would tell anyone and everyone to use Gate City!

They have an ok doctor he will talk down to you. Also if you get any treatment and they say they want to take a second look to make sure everything healed they don't really care about your pet. they are just trying to charge you additional to look at your pet again. It's really sad.

We took our German shepherd here when we relocated and had an emergency from a self-inflicted wound he had from obsessive scratching. He doesn't like visiting the vet. They took extra time and used various methods to try to make him comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We've used them since. You can take your dog by anytime for a treat and to say hello so they're more accustomed to going. They really worked with us to treat our dog for the emergency and regular checks as well. Very reasonably priced too.

Pretty awesome place. Have never had any problem until yesterday, but I understand things like that happen wasn't a huge deal. The tech cut my baby's nail a little short . I could tell she felt bad and Lola was okay!

Everything was great! I just moved to the area, and was nervous about how Roxanne would do in a new office. Y'all were perfect and I'm so glad we found you on the first try. We are looking forward to some happy visits and getting to know the office better!

We've been taking our baby here since he was born and he's going on 8 years. Best staff in the business and our baby loves going their. James, who is the groomer is phenomenal with his work and love of animals. He's the main reason we still continue to go their even though we have moved 30 minutes away. When our baby sees James. We no longer exist and he runs to the back. You can't put a price on that kind of comfort knowing he's in great hands.

This was my first visit to Gate City Animal Hospital. I had researched the facility on the internet prior to making an appointment for my 13 year old dog. The staff was friendly and attentive to me and my pet. The building was modern, clean. All charges were reviewed with me prior to my committing to a service. Therefore, no surprises in the final bill.

All my questions were addressed and answered. I was provided with a copy of the doctors findings and recommendations for my records. Future care and upcoming visits were addressed. I was made to feel that my choice in taking my pet to Gate City was appreciated and that my feeling good about making this facility my pet's Health Care Home was as important to them as it was to me.

I am glad that I decided to bring my pet here. Looking forward to bringing my other 2 dogs when it is time for their checkups. As far as expense, they seem to be in line with what I have paid at another facilities, but I was happier to turn over my money here. Thank you Gate City Animal Hospital for your hard work, it shows!

I will always take my fur babies here. The staff is overly amazing, caring, loving to the animals and parents needs. The vet doctors are so great. But to be honest there is really no words to explain how great they are. They have always helped me and my family out no matter what it is. They're very compassionate when it comes to heaven sick animals and when we have to make the hardest decisions. I can't express my gratitude to the staff and doctors. Thank you all for your great smiles and help, friendly faces.

I took my dalmatian pup for his second vet visit here. They were so professional here and most importantly loving with our Terry boy. Will definitely be coming back and recommending. Don't look any further! Also, the prices are amazing compared to other vets.
