Because I missed my beloved dog Ginger, I thought that starting this business would help me fill the void of not having her here. I love animals and love caring for them as well. I'm happiest among pets, so all the love that I have to give my pet will now be given to your pets. I am able to comfortably handle most health care issues regarding your pet, as I am a health care professional by trade. I am an active member of Pet Sitters Associates, so I am insured and bonded as well as Red Cross Pet First Aid trained and CPR certified.
If a second meet is necessary the fee will be $20.00 per hour. This time is also spent discussing your pet(s) needs for comfort and care as well as completing the necessary paper work and answering questions. Melissa has been watching my Sheltie, Billy, for almost 3 years now and I couldn't be happier with her service. She provides a safe, caring, nurturing, friendly environment for the pets she looks after. Melissa takes the time to make sure the dogs get along during initial meet & greets. Melissa is very compassionate and reliable. She took photos and sent them to me each time that she came to our home and cared for and fed our kitties while we were away. She let me know what time she would come to our home each day and was very responsive with any questions. I highly recommend Melissa.

Melissa's Pet Sitting Service has been a great find for our family. Melissa treats our 2 dogs like they are her own and she truly loves the them. She sends us pictures throughout their stay with her and gives us updates via text. Our dogs are always excited to go with Melissa, and when they come you can tell they had a full day! I would recommend Melissa's services to anyone, and I couldn't imagine trusting our dogs with anyone else!
