Ivan always comes home smelling and feeling nice, and he doesn't mind going. Prices are definitely reasonable. Only "complaint" is that they're really booked out, so plan ahead!

This place is located in someone's converted garage in a residential neighborhood. Staff are nice and prices are reasonable. They are responsive. One of our dogs was bathed and trimmed. He looked great. Our other dogs hair cut was just okay. I laugh after everytime I look at her. They are a decent dog groomers, but just okay.

They are quick and efficient but most of all they love my dog and do a wonderful job giving her a bath. My dog has skin allergies and has to have prescription shampoo and they give her the treatment the vet prescribed. I love that they are in the neighborhood and can work with my fluctuating schedule. Honestly not taking my neurotic needy chihuahua any place else, she loves them and they love her and I know the spoiled mini beast is getting the best there is.

I've been using their services for 3 dogs over last 7years. My retriever was first and most places wanted $100 to shave her. She wasn't a show dog she was a camping dog. She didn't like other dogs as she got old. They always did amazing job helping keep her removing the woods from her fur. She amazing would be in a room with other dogs. It's amazing how the dogs listen to them. My current 2 older dogs go. They do amazing with dealing with their ache and pains. They never push the dog just to make them pretty. Which I completely appreciate.

I've been taking my dogs here for grooming for years. The staff treat my dogs as if they were their own. The work is first rate, and the prices are fair. I recommend them to all caring dog owners.

My dog got FLEAS here! And on top of that. The dogs were obviously jammed in there and all on top of each other. You could tell they were all extremely stressed out. Pup returned to me really uneasy. It was a quick turn around but I think this made it worse for the dogs. Honestly it seemed really cruel. Also, our dogs came back COVERED in loose fur of the dogs we're allergic to.

Clearly cleanliness is an issue and they are not cleaning up the fur in between grooming sessions. Biggest disappointment: They straight up did not do a bunch of crucial things. The one thing I asked was that they get all the mats out of my Maltese's fur--which they did not do. They said it was "too hard" but the mats were hanging off of him and I snipped them off myself with ease.

But that is not my job. They also didn't give him the haircut I asked for. They did not groom the fur in between his paw pads--they said he was too stressed out and snippy. I WONDER WHY! He's never had that issue at any other groomer. Icing on the cake: It took me 3 weeks of phone tag to book an appointment. Their phone went to voicemail, without ringing, every single time I called! That's 3 weeks for my pup to get more mats : I was willing to wait because the price was right and they had good reviews. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

Because of all the overlapping appointments, and the fact that clearly they did not time the appointments so there's a little space in between, meant that there was basically no ability to socially distance with other customers. And the front desk lobby was VERY small. Won't be going back to Pupdos. Very very disappointed.

The gal's at Pupdo's are the very definition of compassion. I've been taking my dog here for almost two years and they always do a great job. A year ago, my dog was diagnosed with cancer and it was important that she not be around other dogs when she was groomed since she could no longer be vaccinated. Today, I called to schedule a visit and Makenna said she'd come to my house and groom my dog so she could be alone!

This is a special case, but I'm still overwhelmed with how thoughtful this gesture was. I also love how responsive they are--if you leave a message, they always call back in less than a day. I would definitely give them a call if you're in the market for a kind, professional, affordable dog groomer.

We have a somewhat aggressive rescue dog and this place was great with him! He hasn't had a good cut like this in 6 years! Will definitely come here year after year! Our dog looks great!

My sweet old lady Belgian sheepdog needed a good bath, brushing and trim but she's sensitive and I don't want her to get over groomed and sore. I talked to Donita about my concerns are she was so understanding and knew exactly what she was needing. I couldn't be happier and my old girl looks beautiful and isn't sore and pouting. She's happy she went to Pupdo's too. Thank you for treating her with such love and kindness! Highly recommended!

Been going here for years. Our guy always leaves happy and looking smart. He can be a challenging guy to groom, but Pupdo's always does a great job.

The buddies look fantastic! One of my little guys is very difficult when getting his hair cut and they still did a great job. This is the best lion cut I've seen on Cai yet. I also love that they don't have to be in a kennel all day. We were able to pick them up with in 2 hours after drop off

It was eight years ago when I first dropped Romeo off at Pupdo's for his first haircut. It was extremely stressful because I had previously dropped him off at two different shops and had to pick him back up since he was too aggressive. I found Pupdos online and made an apt and took him there. Upon our arrival, they were very kind and polite. They took him off my hands and all they said was "come on Romeo" walked him to the back and the rest was history. I've been so grateful to this company for the past 8 years.

They are kind, gentle, professional, and always did a great job with him. I highly recommend pupdos and have referred many friends and family here. Thank you so much! We appreciate you guys so much!

Wow, just wow! I was looking for a new groomer for my dog, semi close to home and affordable and who will listen to what I want and complete the job! I found Pupdo's on yelp and messaged them. I got a response right away and a same day appointment about an hour later. We arrived and was greeted and welcomed instantly. She asked what my dogs name was, how old and immediately asked what I wanted done with him.

He was WAYYY over due for a cut! I was a bit indecisive for what I wanted and to help me out, she brought out another dog that and BAM! That was the style I wanted for my dog! My dog was a bit nervous as usual, but really didn't squirm when I handed him off. My dog senses good people and I do too. When I returned OMGGGGGG my dog was absolutely handsome!

They did an EXCELLENT job and even told me their trick to getting him to relax and cooperate LOL. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here, and the price was SO affordable. I'm still in awe literally. Thank you to the two ladies at PUPDO's

An excellent place for our Zeus! Highly recommended. It's a 30 minute drive, but well worth it. Thorough, gentle, obviously loving.

Pupdo's is not a retail grooming salon; it's operated in the back house of someone's home. There was a very strong wet dog stench when I walked in, and I wondered about the sanitation of this place and if they were following any safety guidelines. Our dog's hair was shaved unevenly and looks like a hack job. His hair is now patchy with some parts that are longer and some parts that are down to his skin.

His hair will grow out eventually, so oh well. However, what really is concerning to us is that our dog has been yelping and acting skittish since he came home from Pupdo's yesterday. It makes me wonder if our dog was hurt or very scared during the grooming process since he is now yelping when we initially touch him or carry him. When I went to pick him up from Pupdo's, the ladies told me to put metal spoons around his face daily so he gets used to metal being around his face. It's normal for dog's to become anxious during grooming as it's not part of their natural lifestyle, and spoons don't make a scary buzzing noise or vibrate like a hair buzzer does.

I won't be taking any pets to this place due to the lack of responsibility and officialness on their part. I found it strange and unsettling that when I dropped off our dog, they didn't take down ANY information whatsoever - not my name, not my phone number, no forms to fill out, I asked if they need his collar and leash, and they didn't.

She was literally taking our dog to the back without any real identification or a way to reach me. I had to insist on giving her my phone number, for her not to call me anyways when Frankie was ready for pickup. This has been a nightmare for a our poor pup that is now suffering from PTSD.

Went here for the first time today for my bernedoodle (Poodle and Bernese). I have been to Petco, PetSmart and another local groomer in the past. Out of all of them, Pupdo's reassured all the cons I had among other groomers. They are quick, efficient, listen to your realistic needs, reasonable prices. overall amazing experience start to finish. It's a small business, which I also love! I would recommend Pupdo's to everyone! I will be returning for seasonal cuts and monthly baths!

I've been taking my dogs there for several years now and dawnita and her staff are the best ever. Very knowledgeable and very friendly you'll never have to worry about the care of your dogs. My St. Bernard loves it when we pull in there. Thanks everyone for your tenderness with my animals

If I could do a zero, I would. The location is awful. No indication of where the business is. We had an appointment at 10:30 and after waiting 20 mins I had to leave. I attempted to call the business with no answer. I don't recommend it to anyone as it's a joke and a waste of your time. I wasted a morning driving to the groomers and for them to not even give me a service.

What a waste. The owner called me after I had left with not a lot to say. We had our engagement photos planned and needed our pup groomed to look extra cute for photos. Highly disappointing.

I've only been here once! But my pup was super happy when I picked him up and his cut was so cute! They knew who he was right when they saw him & I love the personal feel of the person who checked us in and out. His hair was getting pretty out of control and he had some mattttts and I wasn't sure they could save his beautiful curly ears but they did! I was so happy. I hope I continue to get the same service!

I reserve 5 stars only because the location is, at least for me, a bit inconvenient. Our Airedale gets a great haircut and is always fresh and clean after going to Pupdo's. The staff and groomer are friendly and very obviously care about animals. Very reasonably priced, and they do not nickel and dime you like so many other shops. Highly recommended!

I took my dog here for the first time. Our past groomer closed. Our dog tends to be nervous going to the vet and groomer. she would be scared walking in and shaking when she came out. She looked beautiful when we picked her. She was given a really nice Schnauzer cut. She was ready in 2 hours as they advised. She wasn't nervous when we picked her up and we were able to get her done on a Sunday.

I love this place! It's a small private business and they do a great job. I am glad we found this groomer! We will defiantly be going back and I highly recommend this groomer.

Most groomers have charged by the pound so as Meeko grew, I was spending close to $100 on my 90lb corgi/husky mix. When he sheds a coat, it could fill a pillow case. These ladies probably broke their back brushing out Meeko's winter coat and now he looks so fresh and so clean! They also trimmed his nails and cleaned his ears after his bath; All for $40! I will definitely be back when his summer coat gets out of control.

I took my doodle here twice--although both times the cuts were done well and the pricing reasonable, I had a negative experience the second time. I had asked for my dog's chin and face to be trimmed short. When I picked her up, it was left long. The groomer said she didn't have time, so did a quick thinning. It wasn't enough, so my husband went back a second time.

He looked back and saw her being held very roughly, and heard a dog yelping as it was being groomed. Even then, our dog's face was left longer than we had asked. Overall, we got the impression that our dog wasn't being handled gently. Again, reasonable prices and good work, but for me, what I saw of the handling didn't inspire enough confidence to return.

After 7 years I still love this local dog grooming shop. I had my Japanese Chin shave for the first time since he was getting very matted. Boy do I wish I had done that sooner! My Japanese chin when from shaggy to a Pomeranian puppy. I love this shop and highly recommend them to anyone! Very affordable pricing as well. They handle your dog with care.

They have a huge dog run in the back, so you can drop your dog off early and come back in the afternoon to pick your dog up before they close. Very convenient! This store use to be at 102 and Gilsan area where I use to live after they moved, I moved a year later to Woodstock area and they were right down the street from us again. It's fate!

Dawnita can handle the big dogs, too! My Saint Bernard is 104 lbs (petite for a Saint) and many grooming places either told me they couldn't handle her or they wanted $100 for a bath and hair trim. (They never even asked about her temperament). $45 and 2 hours later I picked up a clean and happy dog. Dawnita trimmed up the stray hairs to make my dog's coat look more even, which was exactly what I wanted.

These gals know what they are doing and don't need much direction. I don't know if it's customary, but I left a $15 tip, I figure it's the least I can do since they saved me so much money and hassle!

I'm thrilled with Ellie's puppy cut. She looks terrific and I can see how much better she feels. I'm impressed with their skills, Ellie's cut was the best I could have ever expected.

I should start by saying this place was completely out of my radar by being "far away". It's a twenty minute drive and completely worth it. I have a maltese lhasa mix who is older and every time I get her back, she looks like a goddess. The groomers here are phenomenal in their work, listen to what I request, and do a great job. For instance, I prefer my dog to have a "fade".

This place was the only one to understand what I meant, and they went above and beyond my expectations. On top of that, my dog had fleas once and the price didn't even rise above the norm of what I pay. This is the place to get your pets groomed in Portland.
