The purpose of wellness exams for pets is to detect illness or disease in its earliest stages, allowing us to provide the most effective and affordable care for your animal. We want to help them live a long and healthy life by your side. It's standard for pets to receive an annual wellness exam, though if you have a senior animal or one with certain medical conditions we may ask about seeing them more often. With pets aging significantly faster than their people, these yearly exams are even more important.
Just like how humans should be getting their regular dental care, our pets need it as well. Oral health contributes to your pet's overall health in a number of ways. Animals suffering from tooth decay, gum disease or abscesses will need prompt medical intervention to prevent pain and suffering as well as debilitating mouth and jaw conditions in the long run.
Our veterinary clinic is determined to bring you the most advanced medical services to ensure your pet's health and comfort. In that spirit, we offer therapeutic laser treatments that deliver specific wavelengths of light that have been shown to increase circulation and reduce inflammation in the target area.

I've been a member for over 10 years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies. The Dr. Kaemmer and staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Their health and dental plans are very affordable, and they include shots, annual teeth cleaning (with dental option), annual blood work.just to name a few. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

You guys are perfect! I take both of my cats here and each time they are treated great. I know they are in wonderful hands here. Thank you for all your help. Also, I am a part of the program here and pay monthly. It really is a good deal and would highly recommend it. It covers the cost of an annual checkup and shots, discounted visits and I got my male cat neutered for no charge. This really is the best clinic. My friend recommended this vet to me and I am so glad I listened. Take your pets here!

Dr. Kaemmer is amazing. Her staff is awesome. But Meg was brought into this world to provide world-class veterinary care. My dog Minnie "Big Momma", will be turning 12 next spring & I am confident I will have Minnie by my side, happy & comfortable, as she spends her final years on this (crazy) Earth living her best life, thanks to Meg & her staff. If your fur baby needs vet care, this is where you go.

Just moved to Kansas City and was looking for a Vet for my pup. Thought I'd try the clinic close to my house, and it was a great place! The staff was wonderful, prompt and efficient, and my pup LOVED Dr. McMeans! I think this is a great fit for us and we look forward to coming back again. I have been taking my toy poodle Teddy to Animal Medical Center for 8 years--since I brought him home at 8 weeks old. The front office staff is kind and helpful, the doctors and vet techs are knowledgeable and caring, and the health plan helps me manage costs for my dog's healthcare. Thanks for taking care of my best friend--we wouldn't go anywhere else!
