Dogs under 12 months of age require different amounts of certain nutrients than adult dogs. For this reason, only a diet appropriate for growing dogs should be fed to puppies. Nutritional requirements of growing dogs are established by AAFCO(American Association of Feed Control Officials). For example, AAFCO specifies a minimum protein requirement for puppies as 22.5% of dry matter (which is higher than for adult dogs - 18%). Use benevo or ami cat the owner of this company has questionable morals. My cat developed urinary crystals on the gourmet ultra life organic cat food(the most expensive food they sell). I was aware that cats can develop urinary issues on vegan food but the reason for the low review is because the owner of this company told me that it is not possible for cats to have urinary issues on his formula unless i didn't follow his feeding protocol to the t (see photos).
So essentially he blames people for the inadequacy of his pet food and makes up pseudoscience to protect his income. The bag also has a bunch of bogus awards and claims that are unsubstantiated by science. I wish i had looked into this company a little more before making a purchase.

My dogs story is a miracle. I have a 2 year old (2 pd) Maltese that has Copper storage disease, a small heart, liver disease, with previous surgeries and is on 4 medications a day. I happened by a pharmacy and found Dr. Weisman's "Evolution Diet Pet Food" My dog would not eat anything but after offering him some of this food, he ate it right up. Wow, was I excited!
Then Dr. Weisman suggested we add supplements. I received the package, gave him his first dose of supplements. To my utter disbelief, my dog was transformed from a sickly and sad 2 yr old Maltese, to a happy, energetic dog, that is hard to keep up with. IN ONE DAY! How is this possible? Because I found this wonderful scientist that is not only amazingly intelligent but who really cares for the health of your pet.
I am on a mission to let as many of my friends, acquaintances, vets and pet stores know how this formula has changed my dogs quality of life! It truly is a MIRACLE. Thank you Dr. Weisman.

Their pet health consulting service I have used twice, the first time a year ago they saved my elderly cat from kidney disease when vets had given up, and she is still alive and well today. Recently, they are helping me save a younger IBS cat with severe weight loss and she started eating again within a day - both at no charge due to my severe financial restrictions. Awesome to work with and highly informed on nutrition based healing.

I highly recommend Evolution Pet Food for all dogs and cats! As a vegan and environmentalist, I want to be sure the choices I make are in alignment with my values. I love knowing that the food my canine and feline family members eat is good for them, is good for the planet, and it also doesn't involve the imprisonment, torture and slaughter of millions of other beautiful animals who have just as much right to live and love as our companion pets.

Erik is the kindest guy you'll meet. Evolution does so much for the animals and his community. From selling their food at discount prices to financially struggling folks to handing it out for free to the homeless, I can't think of a better vegan company to support. Evolution receives nothing but hate from anti-science vegans. This attitude needs to stop.
My cat has been eating supplemented plant-based cat food since we adopted her and is the definition of healthy. She always receives praise for how soft and shiny her fur is. While anecdotal evidence is one thing, the research has proven that supplemented plant-based cat food is healthier than the store bought kibble. which is just ground up beaks and cow heads. I would join the vegan cats Facebook group if you're still not sure. There's a wealth of information there.

My two babies have been on this for over 2 years now. They love it and I am finishing my 6th 40lb bag. I know if you have male cats that you need to be a bit more careful but my two females have had no issues at all. What is also funny is that about 8 months ago my mom was pet sitting and when we got home my bigger cat had feline ache all over her body, especially on her head. My mom had been feeding them cans of our old wet food. She forgot that they did not use it anymore. Once we discontinued feeding them that junk, her skin cleared right up.

I have a wonderful 14 year old border collie mix companion named Harley Davidson. Harley has developed hip problems in the past year or so, with a lot of trouble walking. He had been having daily "accidents" in the house, unable to control his bowels or urine. He had lost a lot of hair in the lower back area. For most of the time I've had him, he's been on another brand of vegan dog food along with human grade food like cooked veges, fruits, legumes, etc.
I ordered the Evolution Maximum Life Food 6 weeks ago for my dogs and cats and also the supplements recommended by Eric Weisman. In the past 6 weeks on Evolution, Harley's hair has grown back. He can now climb up my stairs again, which he had stopped doing. His urine control in the house is restored, and he controls his bowels much better. Eric Weisman is an amazing human being, totally dedicated to restoring vibrant health in our dear animal companions while saving the lives of all the animals who would have been tortured and killed to profit the very lucrative dog and cat food "industry". We have been using Evolution Diet dog kibble for a couple of years now for Valiant, a vegan dog who is a senior with special needs. The ingredients in Evolution are very good, and the value for money is very reasonable, especially as the kibble expands when soaked in water. We are a non-profit educational organization, and the owner Eric has been kind enough to offer us advice that has helped us a lot with the different health issues Valiant struggles with. We are very pleased with the food and with Eric's kind and generous advice. Valiant loves his Evolution kibble!

Evolution Diet is a wonderful company to work with. They have incredible pet food that I have seen extend my large breed dogs life. Rocko is a shelter rescue dog we adopted over a dozen years ago. He is half Husky and half Labrador. My dog is my best friend and thanks to Eric and his pet food he has always had a healthy coat and incredible energy. even now at 14 years old. Eric and Lynn are good decent people with the best of integrity.

Evolution Diet pet food provides complete nutrition and has incredible positive health effects - my cat has been on it since she was rescued as a kitten. She is full of energy, has glowing fur, and perfect eyesight. She has never once been to the clinic due to any health issues. I not only highly recommend Evolution Diet pet food if you love your pets and want them to live the longest - I don't know what I'd do without Evolution Diet. Make sure to also check the yummy condiments available separately from Evolution Diet for gourmet cats and dogs who know what's good for them.
