Noe Valley Pet Company opened in 1999 on its original corner site at Church and Cesar Chavez Streets. The shop was begun by animal lovers Paula Harris and Celia Sack who deemed it a "mom and mom" store. Over the past 21 years, Noe Valley Pet Co. has grown to become a neighborhood institution, the go-to place to get a referral for a doting cat sitter or an exceptional dog trainer. Our vision remains to sell the highest quality products whether it's sophisticated dog collars, natural pet foods, or utilitarian cat litter.

As popular and fun for people as they are for cats, these little fabric owls are filled with organic catnip. These cat stands are all hand made in the town of Petaluma with high quality wood and sisal. A cat's needs are often simple, but we know that felines can be particular-and so our catnip toys are always fresh, our wands enticing, and our treats delectable.

This place is great and has a wide selection of things for all animals. I've got a cat, and I've got him a lot of cat toys he really likes. The only downside is that if you're looking for something specific, like I was last time I was there, they are a little cluttered, but other than that, decent.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at this pet store! The staff is super friendly and very knowledgable about all the different products. I stop by at least twice a week to pick up a new cute little toy for my kittens and to replenish their food. Great prices, good social distancing practices, and wonderful folks.

My dog and I are regulars here. Everyone is always friendly and give they give my pup treats and love. I love the local neighborhood vibe here and they also host events throughout the year like the Halloween costume parade and party

Great staff and they always share a treat with our furry friend. We always leave spending more then we anticipate due to the large selections of dog toys, treats and must have pet items. If you want a new squeaker toy for your dog or toy for your cat this is the place. This is my favorite pet store in the city and not just because it is right down the street.
