Dog Spa

We are absolutely thrilled to have found the Dog Spa. We have tried a myriad of dog groomers in San Francisco, to groom our 30 lb Australian Labradoodle. None have been bad, and some quite good but the Dog Spa wins for professionalism and the gorgeous cut they gave our dog. We were nervous at first to try a new parlor, especially one that didn't have a 3 month wait list ( ). But the groomers were kind and went out of their way to put our anxiety at ease. and our dogs I highly recommend them and cant wait for a pup to return.

I called in the night before to get my dog Bumi fully groomed and was pleased to hear there is availability the next morning! Bumi is pretty aggressive and hates to be groomed. He tends to move a lot. Even so, they managed to give him the cutest poodle cut ever. I think the stylist here is good with grooming poodles, bichons, etc. Everything was reasonably and fairly priced.

You get a lot out of what you are paying - bath, cut, nail trim, ear cleaning, anal expression, & you are also paying for their skill. The whole appointment took about 2.5-3 hours. Thank you again for your service! :

The people were pretty helpful answering my questions and the process was fast and easy. My dog seemed pretty happy at the end and wasn't afraid of any of the groomers so I'll keep coming here.

Couldn't get an appointment with our usual groomer and made an appointment out of desperation. We are so happy with the results. Great service and our dog looks as handsome as ever! Thank you, Dog Spa!

LOVE The Dog Spa! We got a new puppy Rocco and he a mail-shi with so much hair! This was his first groom ever and I wanted it to be perfect. To be honest I found this place on Yelp because Petco was booked really far out. I have no idea what the mixed reviews are about because The Dog Spa is awesome. Rocco looks amazing and I will take him here only moving forward. A picture speaks a thousand words.

We've been bringing our dogs here for monthly nail clips for years. I appreciate Dog Spa making this a quick and painless experience and taking us without an appointment. However I was shocked yesterday to learn they have raised their prices 30%! $25 is simply too much to pay for a 5-10 minute procedure. Thank you for your service Dog Spa but sadly we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I've been looking for a dog groomer for over a year now and I think I found my dogs forever groomer these groomers do the best job and are very accommodating.

My dog had a skin infection after coming to this place for the first time. Secondly, they did not even try to get the mat untingle, and instead they just cut it. My dog had the worst haircut ever. Will not come back again for sure.

I brought my maltipoo here for a general grooming and once I picked her up I noticed my dog was feeling some discomfort in her vulva area. I took a closer look and her vulva was red as hell and looked like an extremely bad razor burn. As the days progressed her vulva became completely scabbed up and began to crack and bleed. I reached out to the groomers who were responsible for this mistake and they were extremely rude and unconcerned. They refused to give me a refund and stopped returning my texts and calls. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

We are happy repeat customers for our 2 doggos! We appreciate this staff and the care they have for our little ones. The lobby area needs cleaned up a bit.

My maltipoo got a wonderful cut! She has heavy eyebrow and furry muzzle, I can barely see her eyes. Trimming it is a pain because she moves her head around. Aida did such a great job! Her fur is so baby soft, and she looks so cute!

Impressive service and super happy about the results as well. People are nice but just too expensive. $75 for a 26 pound dog wash-only.

I would highly recommend Dog Spa. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. My baby is usually nervous about getting her nails clipped. They did a great job.

Poor customer service and my dog didn't even smell good and his nails were not filed. Overpriced for a bath and nails trim especially with level of service. Two starts for same day availability, otherwise disappointed.

The nail clipping was way too short which my dog was hurting for days while she walks. I first tried to inquire about the price estimate over the phone, then I did again after I dropped off my dog. They refused to give an estimate every time and gave me an attitude. They kept saying the final price will change if her hair is matted. But we groom our dog every month and they can just do a simple inspection when we brought her in. Anyways, DO NOT COME HERE! Both the service and price was very disappointing.

Thank you Eva for doing a wonderful job with Brownie and teaching us how and what to use at home so he doesn't get too matted! It's hard to find a groomer that knows how to trim poodles!

Eva has given us a wonderful experience at The Dog Spa. We have been using them for our dogs grooming needs around three years. Our dog is happy at arrival and even happier at pick up! He always is returned to us looking adorable and well groomed/cared for. Our favorite aspect of his care is how great he smells and how cute the style of cut always is. Eva is reliable and we trust her with our fur baby. (I was surprised to read the negative reviews, our experience has be excellent) our dog is a 17 pound poodle mix.

We had been going here for years and the cuts seemed fine enough. Our dog is super friendly and fun and mellow but after the last two grooming appointments he came back traumatized and his hind leg was in severe pain. We had to take him to the emergency vet and the dog grooming appointment was the only thing that changed in him normal day to day routine. I will never take my dog here again obviously.

This place was horrible! My puppy is traumatized after their rough and loud behaviors and facility. Furthermore, they quoted us $80 even after we told them our fur baby was 4 1/2 months old and that it would her first cut. When I arrived they told me it would cost between $90-$95. When I explained the type of cut I wanted the groomer appeared confused.

I apprehensively left but was called less than 20 minutes asking me to pick up our pup since "she wasn't ready for a haircut and she bit the groomer." When I picked up my pup I reminded them she was a puppy. They called my 17 week old puppy "aggressive". I in return stated it sounded that these groomers were untrained and unprofessional. I should have gone with my gut when I noticed how unkempt their facility was when I entered. DON'T GIVE THIS GROOMER YOUR BUSINESS!

Went in for a nail trim. They saw us right away and were great with my dog. They were fast, friendly, efficient and with a fair price. The treats at the end were a bonus. Thank you!

Our Pomeranian puppy became very matted after his neutering surgery (tough post-op!). The team at dog spa did an amazing job patiently dematting him and giving him this beautiful trim! So grateful for the top-notch service.

I have a pekingese, which is hard to trim the nails. I brought her to petco before, they gave her a haircut, but they couldn't trim her nails because my dog is very sensitive on paws. So they gave up. I tried by myself couple times, but still not able to do it. I am so glad that I found The dog spa! They not only gave my dog an adorable haircut, but also they trimmed her nails!

The girls work in the shop were very nice, and very professional. They treat my dog very gentle, and gave her a lot of chicken jerky at the end of the grooming. She didn't want to leave the shop. Definitely will come back!

I believe this might be my favorite of the local groomers. They don't give me a hard time when I call for a last-minute appointment, and they always do a very good job.

This place is a scam! I brought in my dog for a grooming. Over the phone the lady quoted me $85. When I picked him i was being charged $120! 120! He was matted and needed extra TLC. They found a tick (yikes) and decided to give him a special bath which he ended up being allergic to! Broke out in a rash and itched for dayssss! Sure thanks for the extra mile BUT my problem is that they never called me and asked if they are allowed to give him the extra services. Making the price almost $40 more than quoted earlier.

With that said the trim was uneven and he was cut in multiple places. He has a chronic ear infection (which at other places they attempt to clean up a bit) was ignored completely. I guess I should have been thankful since I would have been charged extra for that too! Avoid! They up charge with no warning. Zero customer service. The cut was not even close to being great.

Just took my dog here to cut and grind her nails for the first time. Everyone seems nice so even though it was $30 I thought it was fine. They even gave her treats when we were leaving. When I got home and started wiping my dog's paw, I notice that they actually cut it too much and I can see the vein on the bottom of the nail. I will not come back to this place.

I absolutely love coming here. They know Daisy already and know exactly what she gets and how mama likes it. I will be coming here as long as I live close by and I have my Cookie Daisy around. The stuff is very friendly and they always make Daisy feel loved. Thank you

Over the years I tried different groomers but after going to Dog Spa twice, never gone to a different groomer since. Been going almost 10 years. Although parking can be hard they've always tried to get my Shihtzu an appointment when I've called last minute. They're super kind and helpful. I know my boy is in good hands whenever he goes.

This was the first grooming appointment ever for my pup, so she got the works. Shampoo, ears cleaned, anal glands, nails cut and hair cut. I dropped her off and received a call about 3+ hours later to let me know she was ready. I could not believe how wonderful she looked! They did such a great job and they were very patient with her so minimize her nervousness. I will definitely schedule with them again when it's time to.

We had a great experience with the Dog Spa grooming our 60 lb Labradoodle, and we will be taking him there again. They were prompt and professional, listened to our requests to cut his hair short (not a long "Doodle cut"), and he looked fantastic. He was also calm and happy when we picked him up, which says a lot. My only regret is that this service comes at quite a price.

It cost $110 for his full grooming. That is quite a lot! We are going to go back, though, because it has been so hard to find a reliable groomer that takes good care of our dog during his stay, and they do just that. Hopefully they will consider lowering their prices to a more reasonable rate in the future.
