Play & Chase Dog Care

Edit: shocked to see the response from owner below. I've been giving them business and a lot of it 3 dogs every 3 months at $70 a pop for 3+ years and I'm amazed to see how little they valued me as a loyal repeat customer. Instead, they've been keeping score about a couple of times being late over years of business. Wish I had known sooner, everything stated in my review is completely factual.

I posted because I couldn't believe how I was spoken to and that feeling has only been doubled. Yikes! This place used to be amazing, but sadly it's really gone down hill. One of the groomers Beth is particularly problematic, she took the time to call me to tell me I was 10 mins late for a grooming appointment and when I apologized and explained I had a newborn baby and could be there in 5 mins, she told me not to bother because she was too busy and that I could reschedule for 4 months from now.incredibly rude and just teeming with attitude.

They lost a customer today for sure, going back to Lexi Dog which is slightly more expensive but they seem to have compassion and care for their clients. I had good experiences in the past and sent many people their way, it's a shame.

Our dog has been going here for years (daycare and boarding), fantastic place. The staff are all super nice, and the location is pretty convenient.

Just look at these before & after pics. They are so happy to get groomed at Play & Chase. The only issues we've ever had in the many years we've been having our dogs groomed here is with occasional razor burn around the sensitive areas of skin.

We've been taking our dog here for the past three years! Staff is wonderful and I know they really care about our dog. They have great covid protocols as well and I feel safe during drop offs and pickups.

I love Play and Chase. Staff is so nice, the space is awesome, and my dog loves it. They are great for grooming too!

I took my new Yorkie puppy for his first grooming. Knowing that this breed hates water and is mistrustful of strangers, I expected the worst. However, the groomer here knew exactly how to make his first haircut a pleasant experience and he looks great! Highly recommend.

Our rescue pup LOVES this place. He will wag his tail and jump when we approach the entry and greet the employees with kisses and giant tail wags. This is probably normal for most dogs, but our dog is normally very skittish and afraid of people. I wish their video camera was up and working. The employees will tell me how he did when I pick him up, and he sleeps for a very long time when we get back home. The place smells like dog pee, but that's expected.

They took great care of our dog! We have a rescue cocker spaniel who gets really anxious and can lash out when she's scared. I was worried about taking her to a groomers because I didn't want her to have a negative experience and have more fear of groomers. When I explained the situation they were awesome! She had some matting and desperately needed a nail trim and an ear cleaning.

They booked her first thing in the morning so it would be quieter, and they took their her time with her. They called my boyfriend with an update a little bit after we dropped her off to let him know she was doing great. We will be going here in the future!

I have been taking Shasta here for 4 years now for everything from grooming to boarding. The staff there is always friendly and the gals that groom Shasta have always done a fantastic job. When I board her there she is not left caged up but is allowed to be out and play and is always treated like royalty! You can really trust them 100%.

I've been having my dog (Clementine) groomed at Play and Chase for two years now. I've always been very happy with their work. Most recently, she got a de-shedding treatment and it. Was. Incredible. She was shedding in CLUMPS every day, and now almost NO fur is falling out. This is practically a miracle for a border collie mix; I've never seen her shedding so little since I adopted her.

It's also always been easy to get an appointment, and the groomers are very professional and easy to work with. Even if it weren't super convenient for me location-wise, I'd bring my pup here for grooming.
