For all scheduled appointments, please call the clinic at (952) 925-0035 when you arrive in our parking lot. Our front desk staff will check you in over the phone and assist you in the next steps. Once our staff alerts you that we are ready for you and your kitty to enter the building, you will bring your cat (safely in a secured carrier) to the main door, under the awning in our parking lot. Our staff will escort you straight into an exam room. At this time, we are only allowing ONE individual to come into the building during an exam.

City Cat Clinic & Condos has 25 private, luxurious condominiums for your cat's boarding needs. The rate is $31.50 per night/per cat. There is an additional cost if your cats need daily or twice daily medication or supplements. We require your cat to have a current rabies vaccine (administered at least two weeks prior to your cat's stay).
Parking is available behind City Cat Clinic & Condos. The entrance to our parking lot is located one-half block to the west of our building, between the Theatre Building and the bus shelter. Turn south and follow the drive around to the left. This will bring you to the parking area behind the clinic and our main entrance. Do not park in any other lot not dedicated to City Cat Clinic.
AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) has created a CFP (Cat Friendly Practice) program to help encourage and facilitate excellence in veterinary care for cats. The program helps clinics to overcome the unique challenges that cats may have with going to the vet and create a positive experience for you and your cat instead.

I would not give you 1 star because of the way I was treated by Hillary. I have had the very best experience with the owner. Stephanie if you look at your reviews you would know that Hillary is hurting your business. She is hurting your practice. I waited 2 months before I am leaving this message. Stephanie you are so good with my boys but I wanted you to call me as I left a message for you on your voice mail and you never returned my call. Pugsley came to you many years ago. He passed in 2013 at your practice. Now my 2 boys are over 10 years old. I am so sad that you let this happen because of 1 employee that does not care about your business.

The vets are amazing. Absolutely, 100%, no complaints there. They've taken great care of our cat. The receptionists, on the other hand. Two out of three of them have a passive-aggressive, unpleasant demeanor every time you speak to them. Every time you talk to them, they sound like you're massively inconveniencing them, they talk over you, and them make you feel stupid for asking a question or asking to clarify something.
My partner has literally said he wanted to forego reaching out to the vet when our cat was having possible health problems because he did not want to talk to the receptionists. That's right, someone literally wanted to forego calling the vet about their pet's potential health problem because of the receptionist's attitude. Receptionists are the face of a business.
More than that, you're a business that provides healthcare to animals and serves anxious owners. Please talk to your receptionists. A little compassion and respect, or at least sounding like you're willing to help goes a long way, not to mention is the number one rule of customer service. Thank you.

Put 5 because I don't want to harm their rating as I have never been there. Just moved to Minnesota with my senior cat and was really hoping to get an appointment because other cat only clinics had some pretty bad reviews. I refuse to take her to a normal vet because she's older and let's face it, mainstream vets don't really like cats. Don't care whatsoever about the stress cats have going to vets and it ends up terrifying the cat.

Hands down, the best place for my furball Smokey. The location is perfect for a shy cat, and the staff was so friendly, comforting, and knowledgeable that I knew I made the best choice for him. I am confident they helped Smokey live a few extra years with their comprehensive care. Thank you (esp. to Dr. Strom) for the extra time you spent explaining all the treatment options available for his health concerns so that I could find a solution that fit his needs and my budget. Even after he passed away, I was truly touched by how the staff honored his memory. Would recommend this cat clinic to everyone!

Today was my first time taking my cats to City Cat Clinic, and everyone was so friendly and professional. I wasn't able to go inside with them due to covid policies which was a little nerve-racking as I like to be present for appointments, but Dr. Asher and Hannah took great care of my boys. After the appointment, Dr. Asher called me with a summary and explained everything in a way that I could understand. Price was also fair with two adult cats their getting annuals and vaccine updates. Definitely taking my cats back in the future!

This is a great place to board cats since it is cat-centric (it only caters to cats)! The clinic is clean and has no detectable odor. The staff is absolutely amazing and you can tell they truly care about what they do! One perk of boarding your cat here is that there's an on-site vet if anything comes up. The multi-level "cat condos" is are spacious and have windows so the cats can see out and watch the fish and the people in the office, yet they are private enough that they are still quiet for the cats.
You are also allowed to bring in toys and small reminders of home to put in your cats condo. The price is a bit on the high side, but if you want peace of mind while you're gone then look no further!

The City Cat Clinic has been a wonderful experience. Dr. Steffen Runquist and her staff are caring, compassionate, and optimistic. I began going to this clinic in the fall of 2016, after becoming frustrated with my previous clinic's lack of empathy. Dr. Runquist and her staff called me frequently to check in on my cat, always genuine and truly interested in his condition. Unfortunately, Silas had small-cell lymphoma and has recently passed on.
I am so grateful to have discovered the City Cat Clinic. My cat's life was definitely extended because of the care we received. I also appreciated the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. It was so nice not to have barking dogs. I highly recommend this clinic. Thank You!
