The Dog House is L.A.'s original dog daycare facility! We are a smaller, independently owned business, focused on providing extraordinary care for your dog. We are open Monday - Friday, 8-6, except major Holidays. Dog Grooming is also available, by appointment.

Dog Daycare Report

The Dog House opened in 1995 as Los Angeles' first dog daycare facility. It has been under the current ownership since 2001. Our many years of experience benefit your dog and help create the best possible environment. Hopefully in the near future we can return to our original, pre-pandemic hours of Monday-Friday 7am - 7:30 pm; Saturday 9 -4.

Dog Grooming Report

A Full Bath includes shampoo, blow dry, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, and glands. Rates vary depending upon size of dog and complexity of coat (and occasionally, cooperation of dog). Additional services include area trims, specialty or treatment shampoos, and teeth brushing. Full Grooming includes shampoo, blow dry, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, glands, and haircut.

While on vacation from AZ we took Vinnie in for a grooming and bath. Service was very good and the facility was super clean and fantastic. The dog knew He was looking Good when we left, for sure!

Michelle and AJ are amazing! They have always been accommodating and extremely kind to our dog son for 6 years! He came to The Dog House at 3 months old and they are his family! I would recommend everyone to them for doggy daycare!

We discovered The Dog House and Michelle 15 years ago when we lived on Beverly. Best find ever! Michelle and her amazing staff cared for our first rescue her whole life with true devotion. It's clean, consistent and reasonable. We moved to Los Felix and Michelle and the dog house was still our girls daycare everyday for 11 years! Even when our precious girl got sick, Michelle was always a phone call away with love and tons of information.

On the day she passed Michelle even came to say goodbye. Now our crazy puppy rescue is getting rid of his puppy energy ( thank god!) at The Dog zHouse and it is his home away from home. Michelle loves him as much as our girl and we would be lost without her and The Dog House. I cannot day enough great things! You can leave your babies knowing they will be loved and ( in our case) wonderfully exhausted when you pick them up after work! We lucked out! You cannot lose on this daycare!

They didn't told me to bring the documents of the dog and they didn't let me get the appointment that they promised me! On top of that they made me go back home with my dog and then they told me that I'm the responsible for that mistake. horrible customer service!

A bit pricey, and no real parking to speak of (street only), but their grooming is great. My Klee Kai always comes back smelling great.

OMG! Michelle and all the staff at The Dog House have changed my life. I have a 10 month old lab/pit mix who has more energy than I have hours in the day to entertain him. Prices for a full day are great and discounts given for 5 days in a row. Staff is caring and patient and always full of advice.
