We consult with specialists in many fields on a regular basis and will either have them come in or refer you for any specialized tests or procedures.

We fully understand that you maintain a busy schedule. To help accommodate you we are open 7 Days a week, and until 7:00 pm on Thursday evenings. Drop-offs can be arranged. After receiving a Bachelor's degree in biology on the same campus, Dr. Mary Applegate got her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1990. She has practiced at Park Centre Animal Hospital since 1994 and feels a close connection with her many long-term clients and patients.
Lupe graduated from Western Career College in 1996 and obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 1997. She is an animal nurse and helps us take care of our patients by taking x-rays, drawing blood samples, etc. She has a special talent to make animals feel comfortable and became a Fear Free Certified Professional in 2018.

I'm very happy with my recent visit to Park Centre. One of my cats hates being handled, so I was dreading how stressful a vet visit would be for him. But the staff here were professional, gentle and kind, getting through my cat's visit with minimal stress and helping him stay calm. I have complete confidence in Park Centre for future care.

Park Centre Animal Hospital is amazing. We went in with a list of ailments, as we had recently adopted, and they walked us through all of them giving us piece of mind that our pet is doing great and these are typical dog breed behaviors. I was very happy with my last vet but we moved and really needed to be on file with a vet that was closer. I've been so impressed with Park Centre Animal Hospital that I'm now only using them. From the front desk staff to the vet my dog sees, the crew here are excellent. The are efficient, friendly and communicative. The one quote I received for a significant amount of work my dog recently needed was not just comprehensive it actually proved to be accurate once the work was done. We couldn't be happier!

Our dog came in for a regular vaccine and had a rare reaction as we were a few minutes away. We immediately turned around and the folks at Park Centre all leapt to care for him. The nurses and staff kept checking in with updates and reassurances, and the doctors and staff all brought him back to top shape. We're very lucky to have gone to Park Centre.

I've been bringing my dogs to Park Centre for over 5 years now. They were extremely kind and gentle when we had to let go of our 19 YO terrier. They are patient with my 3 goofy pitbulls. Pet care is not cheap but their prices are fair. They always give an estimate of things are going to cost BEFORE they start anything. And most importantly the fur-suits don't mind going to the vet.

PCAH Has been my vet for many years. They helped me with my first dog & cat, from homecoming to final goodbyes. The staff is always caring and careful. They are all experienced and well trained and always able & willing to answer questions and help with problems. They are the BEST. When my new dog had a stomach problem that needed a specialist, they quickly sent me to a nearby emergency vet with highly specialized training and equipment that was just what we needed and the procedure went very well. I trust them and enjoy working with them too.
