We Care Animal Rescue was established in 1982 to improve the quality of life for companion animals in Napa Valley by providing shelter, compassionate care and community resources. As a nonprofit organization, we are funded entirely by the generosity of donors who share this profound commitment. Our programs provide life-saving care, valuable emotional and monetary support, and critical animal welfare resources in our community. Shelter staff and volunteers provide a healthy and engaging environment to more than 120 cats.

Meet the Team Report

Ashley has committed her professional career to animal rescue and founded Rebel Ranch Rescue, a nonprofit that places unwanted farm animals in loving homes. Jennifer is grateful for this opportunity to provide humane, compassionate care to our cats alongside such a dedicated team. Melissa is our Office Coordinator who's happy to use her skillset to make a small dent in the rescue world.

We Care Animal Rescue is a private, nonprofit, no kill, free roaming pet sanctuary primarily for cats. They rescue, rehome and give medical care to these pets with love and compassion. The staff is great! They truly care about the animals! A wonderful organization!
