Lisa is a bay-area native who wouldn't dream of living anywhere else. A born MacGyver and fixer-of-things, she took on the task of fostering her neighbor's dog when she was a young girl. The dog had seventeen puppies and Lisa loved and cared for them all, feeding and bathing each until they were adopted off to new homes.
We understand that choosing the right pet care service is one of the most important decisions you will make for your furry family member. We've spent over a decade providing love and nurturing to hundreds of dogs and cats. To ensure the best care, we are Pet First Aid and CPR Certified through the American Red Cross and we are certified through DogTec Dog Walking Academy.

I am so incredibly grateful for the love and care of Happy Go Lucky Pet Care. My dog absolutely LOVES his daily pack hikes! The socialization and exercise cannot be replaced. I am confident in Paula's care of my puppy. She loves the dogs and is soooooo good with them. She provides advice and training tips to me as well and sends me videos and photos of each hike.
There's something special about seeing your dog so happy! I was cursed by an injury that led me to search for a day hiker for my puppy because I could not offer that type of exercise for him. But even when I recover some day, I will continue to put my trust in Happy Go Lucky Pet Care to provide fun, stimulation and daily exercise for my dog. I was nervous when I moved to Walnut Creek because I had to find a new dog walker for my dog, Cooper. I am SO glad I went with Happy Go Lucky Pet Care because Paula & Lisa have exceeded all of my expectations with their care for him. They are reliable, caring, and just exceptional at what they do. They treat my dog like he is their own, & I am totally at ease when he is under their care.
I get notes about his day, really cute pictures of him having the time of his life, and they have even been able to help out last minute in a pinch, which I appreciate immensely. I couldn't recommend them more!

I've been using Happy Go Lucky Pet Care for 7 years. Paula and Lisa have been wonderful. Their love for animals is clear. They have even offered invaluable advice when I got my newly adopted puppy and continue to provide great care. My dog waits by the door for his walks each day and he loves seeing his doggy friends. They are very reliable and professional. I had tried other services before them and Happy Go Lucky Pet Care is by far the best!
