During your pet's wellness exam, we will conduct an in-depth, nose to tail examination and advise you on all aspects of your pet's care.

I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and Southeast Texas Veterinary Medical Association. I have resided in Nederland since 1991. Enjoy spending time with my wife, Carol and our three sons; Kem, Cameron and Samuel. I also enjoy hunting and fishing.
Animal Center of Mid County is proud to offer pet boarding! Our clean, climate-controlled kennel is the perfect place to leave your pet next time you go out of town. Additionally, our highly trained staff is readily available if any medical concerns were to arise during your pet's stay. Our boarders receive one on one attention, the option to socialize and a comfortable space of their own to retreat and rest. We will provide clean bedding, enriching toys and a high-quality diet for all of our boarders.

Please feel free to contact us for a tour of our facilities at any time. Please do not assume your boarding arrangements are confirmed until we have contacted you to confirm the requested dates.
Here are some questions/answers that we are frequently asked. If you have additional questions that aren't covered here, please feel free to give us a call at Animal Hospital of Mid County. Spaying or neutering can be done after 3 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is required prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

Dr. Martin helped 2 of our little babies, our english bulldog got his bark back thanks to her even when our boy was being mean to them and our chihuahua is back to his active loving self after being bit and having an awful infection. Very affordable, i will definitely bring all 4 of our dogs to this office even though we live in houston, the drive definitely worth it.

Took amazing care of our sweet furbaby Hawkeye when he was neutered on 5/18. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They really love and care about the animals. Needed to get him in ASAP because of issues with our spayed female cat rescue. Kelli Michalk and front staff are always friendly and very accomodatimg to any needs. The vets are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond. Thank you Animal Hospital of Mid County for taking such good care of our furbabies Hawkeye, Rocket and Widow and I highly recommend!

The staff is so friendly and truly concerned about animal wellness. My reptilian girl wasn't feeling too great and I brought her in for a visit. The doctor and nurse were so awesome and thorough making sure she was well taken care of. My girl is thriving again and it is all because of their efforts. Thank you all so much!

The team at animal hospital of midcounty is amazing. This is the only vet office that I've been to that made the experience of bringing my cat in absolutely seamless. They were patient with her and knew exactly how to make what usually is a difficult experience for her pleasant instead of just deeming her as a difficult and angry cat as others have done. Huge thank you to Dr. Clements and her amazing staff for making our vet trips not so scary anymore.

My dog has been itching like crazy, they saw him the next day. After day 2 my dog finally had a night without scratching like crazy. I haven't been able to sleep so the last month I've been checking on him hourly and last night he slept almost all the way thru. He is more alert and his tail is wagging more. Thank y'all very much.

Always a great experience here. Fast, friendly, and passionate people who care obout our fur babies. Edit to add- Sis took a turn for the worst last night, we rushed her to an animal hospital. They did what they could to get her stable and advised us to follow up with our primary vet. I called first thing this morning, we dropped her off and they took action in a timely manner and took such great care of our baby girl.
She's now at home demanding treats and resting. Thank you all for helping our fur babies out. I'd be lost without y'all. Great and friendly staff, affordable, and care out our fur babies.

They have been my Vet of choice for many years with always great service.
