Our traps are made with GalfanTM wire as opposed to common galvanized wire. Independent testing has shown that Galfan has a much higher corrosion resistance, resulting in a three-time longer life than traps made with common galvanized wire. Safeguard traps are manufactured with a heavy duty, re-enforced door, to provide maximum performance and superior animal retention.
Our line of Safeguard traps are used by professionals throughout the industry in controlling nuisance wildlife in commercial and residential applications. Our Standard Traps are available in 6 increments and are available in both front release and rear release models. All traps of 24 and larger are made of Galfan wire as opposed to common galvanized wire for a higher corrosion resistance, resulting in a three-times longer life.
Our stock #53000 Universal Trap is great for burrowing animals such as woodchucks, opossums, skunks and similar sized animals. Constructed of Galfan wire as opposed to common galvanized wire for a higher corrosion resistance, resulting in a three-times longer life. Universal in the fact you can close the sliding end door and set the trap over a burrow.
When exclusion of squirrels in a structure is the preferred method of control, the use of one-way doors is a viable alternative to trapping. When used with our Controller Extenders, our Controller becomes a multi-squirrel trap that is mounted on the outside of the structure, eliminating the need for access to the attic.
