Services
Kritter Kastle has been in business since 2005. We offer grooming, daycare, dog boarding and cat boarding in a spacious, clean building just off of Highway 23. Situated on five acres, the business includes an approximately 4,000 square foot facility, with a 30-foot by 75-foot fenced in area where dogs are let out for individual play time multiple times a day.
If 2 or more dogs are staying in the same kennel the first dog is full price and the second is half price. Kritter Kastle lets your dogs out multiple times a day and we have staff here to let the dogs out at night as well. Dogs are let out individually and get one-on-one play time with kennel staff.
When it comes to Kritter Kastle's dog grooming, we believe a well-groomed pet is a happy and healthy pet! Pamper your furry friends by treating them to a fun and comfortable grooming experience! Make an appointment to try our pet services, and you'll be impressed with how great your furry friend looks!
Kritter Kastle's dog daycare and cat daycare should be more than just a place to leave your loved one when you're unable to be with them. At Kritter Kastle, we treat your dog or cat like kings and queens. Your furry friend will get to enjoy a fun-filled day of interacting with our caring team, exercising and burning off all that energy! There will be a small fee of $5.00 per stay for our staff to administer insulin or give subcutaneous fluids.

My dogs, Gussie and Boots, LOVE Kritter Kastle! We have used day care, boarding, and grooming. I never worry about them while the are there. Amanda White and Angela are amazing with dogs. At first Gussie hated having her nails clipped, but they figured out how to do it without her throwing a fit. This place is awesome!

Kritter Kastle is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a nice, caring and compassionate place to take their pets. Our dog is very sensitive and has some separation anxiety and this is the only boarder we will go to because they know about her issues and take such great care of her just like if she was their own pet.

I have tried other boarding facilities and Kritter Kastle was by far great! My puppy wagged it's tail when she arrived inside the doors super excited to see everyone. She had no problem transitioning when I picked her up either! Everyone there is exceptionally wonderful and you can tell they care about their pet clients! Super clean facility and smells great too!

We love the staff at Kritter Kastle! They are very pleasant, professional, accommodating and provide exceptional care for our fur babies when we need to be away. The facility always smells nice and the lobby is kept very clean. We are so happy to have this wonderful place as a second home for our pets.

Kritter Kastle is an amazing place for dogs! I personally know the staff and they are very knowledgeable and truly care about every single animal that enters their door. My friend's dog was groomed here and he looked absolutely stunning when they were finished. With around the clock care for every animal, I would never hesitate bringing my dog to Kritter Kastle!

We have used Kritter Kastle twice this year and for the first time last year. We were very impressed with the facility and the staff. The place was clean and did not smell. They took the time to listen to how we wanted our dog to be cared for and were very accommodating. We got to go back and see where he would be staying and let us setup his bed and bowls in the kennel. The pricing was reasonable. We always feel Rocko the chihuahua is in good hands when we take him there. Highly recommended as you can tell they love what they do.

I would never take your animals here ever they never get to play the whole yard is just gravel and cement the dogs paws always gets cut up and they don't tell the owners ever I brought my dog here a month a go and his paw were all torn up and nobody bothered to tell me. You might as well just take your dog to the humane society for a day, they are constantly in their kennels they never get play time the dogs are stressed out 24/7 in their kennels.
I do not recommend this place at all. I'd give no stars if I could. Go work here for a day and then go to other places and you will realize it all. If you really love your animals I would not take here they are seriously better off going to the humane society for a day.

Kritter Kastle, I love it here! Ever since I started my experience being a part of their team I have learned that I am surrounded by others who are as passionate about caring for animals as much as I am. They work to make sure your beloved family members feel comfortable and safe during their stay. I brought my own dog here while on vacation and knew he had a wonderful time by the excitement he had to go back. I recently got him groomed here and was amazed by the results, he is a brand new dog! Thank you Kritter Kastle!

We left our two dogs there for a night and we were very happy! The Kritter Kastle is such a great place, very clean and professional, and the staff was warm and welcoming. There was lots of room for the dogs to run around and play, and their sleeping area with nice and cozy! Thank you for taking such great care of them while we were away! My dogs didn't want to leave!

"Where your pets will be treated like kings and queens!" This is the tag line on their website. It's unfortunate the owner, Amanda White does not treat people the same. I am traveling to Phoenix for a week, the end of the month, and was going to contact Amanda White at Kritter Kastle to board my dogs. I like to support local businesses. That changed today. Amanda pulled out of her driveway onto Highway 23 RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, like she never saw me coming!
I had to slam on my brakes! Then as I passed her, she proceeded to speed up and was flipping me off and smiling at me as I passed her! She proceeded to tailgate me all the way into Rosendale taking pictures of my vehicle with her phone! I could not believe it. She pulls out in front of me, and then does this?! Extremely unprofessional - not to mention irresponsible. Anyone that unprofessional, and with that attitude, should not be watching anyone's beloved pets.

I originally had decided not to write a review, but friends and family persuaded me to do so in an attempt to help other pet owners that may be considering using this business. I had a very bad experience in Sept, 2018 when boarding my dog here for one night. He is diabetic and I had left meals and insulin and instructions for the staff. This was not the first time I had used this biz, but it will be the last.
When I picked up my dog the next day he was acting oddly which they witnessed and said he had spent most of his time 'staring into space'. I had a 90 min drive home from here and he appeared lethargic during the drive. By the time I was 1/2 mile from home he was unable to control his limbs and was acting shocky. I immediately took him to animal ER where they determined he was having a hypoglycemic episode.
His normal glucose should have been around 250 and it was 28. The vet said the only way something this drastic could have happened was that he was given a large overdose of insulin. He had to stay at the hosp for 3 days in order to get fully stabilized. This was at a cost of over $1200. I called Kritter Kastle the same day I returned, no answer and I left a vm with the issues my dog was having.
I called again the next day and was told the owner was given the message. No response. I called again the 3rd day and was told the owner was going to call me shortly. 2 hrs later I finally got a call back. She said there was no way they could be responsible. I have to believe that the vet's opinion on this episode was on target and someone at Kritter Kastle overdosed my dog. I'm sure not intentionally, but just be aware, especially if you're planning on boarding a pet there that requires medication or special attention.
