The New Carlisle Animal Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite with laser capability, in-house digital x-ray and ultrasound, dental care area with digital radiography, a closely supervised hospitalization area, indoor/outdoor boarding kennels with outdoor play areas, and a professional grooming staff.
Services
Because of the shorter life span of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. It is always more rewarding and less expensive to treat a condition when we have been able to diagnose it early on, preferably before symptoms even develop.
Dr. Jerry Hans is a 1985 graduate of Purdue University where he won awards for highest grade point average and for clinical proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery. He spent a year doing advanced training at the University of Minnesota (less than 5% of veterinarians receive this level of training).
We have a variety of different health care team members that provide service to you and your pet. Ranging from client services representatives to registered veterinary technicians, from veterinary assistants to kennel techs /attendants, and from veterinarians to Practice Manager groomers, each person is thoroughly trained to handle your needs and those of your pet.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. We do try to work in truly sick patients on the same or next day; please advise the receptionist if you honestly believe that your pet's condition is critical.Please do not abuse this for your own convenience.

We have been back many times now and you can't get better care! It took me 30 minutes to get here and that was no time at all.it takes me that long to get around town anymore. If your in need of great vet care pleas call them.you won't be sorry! Outstanding first experience! I'm so glad Dr. Kulis moved out here. It may be a bit of a drive for us vs out last vet office but well worth it! Still the best veterinarian clinic in the area!

I really love this team of people. I forget the vets name but she is always so professional but also relatable and so soft and gentle in her demeanor. I really loved how they handled my more challenging dog. He had quite the past and they treated him with so much compassion. It's really nice to know my dogs are in good hands. Thank you guys a million times over for exceptional care every time

We needed to get our cat spayed quickly. A lady just dumped her off at a farm a few months ago unbeknowst to us unspayed when the temperature got to below freezing. So here we are suddenly finding out she's not spayed and going into heat every 2 weeks so need to get her into a vet soon. However, I called my vet and a few others and there were no appointments for at least 2 months. Thankfully, I was able to get an appointment 2 weeks later here.
The surgery was a bit more than I expected but it does include advanced surgery options. I dropped her off in the A.M and she was there for the day. The staff is friendly and helpful. They gave me detailed home care instructions. I definitely felt more at ease taking her here for the surgery. I recommend them and thinking about keeping them as her vet if there's openings.

I discovered my cat was having issues urinating, when he jumped into the bathtub and dribbled in front of me. I assumed he had a blockage and he did. They did what needed to be done to resolve his issues. They made it so I could afford everything he needed. He is now happy and getting the proper feed so that we hopefully have no more issues. Thank you NCAC!
