Dr. Kerwin realized early on in life that his passions for medicine and working with animals could combine for a career as a veterinarian. After graduating from Duke University and Tuft's School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kerwin earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and began practicing in South Carolina. Shortly after learning the ropes in general practice, he established The Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek. Not only has Dr. Kerwin dedicated his life to caring for animals, but he has also actively participated in both veterinary and community organizations.

Since the young age of 5 years old, Dr. Mary Andrews knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up on a small farm in Anderson, SC with cows and goats, she realized her goal in life was to care for animals. When she wasn't on the farm or at school, she could be found at the barn riding horses. She graduated from the College of Charleston and went on to Mississippi State University (Go Bulldogs!) for veterinary school.
We are a full service animal hospital, providing comprehensive health care for the life of your pet. Our goal is to be the very best possible primary care veterinary hospital. We provide personalized, modern, thoughtful medical care for your pets from their first puppy or kitten wellness visits through an active adulthood and keeping them comfortable, happy and fit for as many golden years as possible. We emphasize providing the best preventive medicine possible so that your pet can live a long, healthy life.
We are very proud to announce that Animal Medical Clinic has created a charitable fund to offer grants to clients who need financial assistance to provide life saving care for their pet. All too often, even the best pet owners can find themselves financially unprepared to do what is needed to save their pet, and facing a heart wrenching decision if they can't afford treatment. Of course, as veterinarians, we love animals first and foremost and don't want any family to have to make that terrible decision.

This is one vet my dog actually gets excited to see! Benny has had two mast cell tumors removed here and they always do a great job. Dr. Andrews is so gentle and caring and my dogs (especially Benny) love her so much! They are always able to squeeze me in at a moments notice and accommodate my schedule.

I moved to the Goose Creek area a little over a year ago and I was seeing a different vet that I really didn't love. I tried out Animal Clinic of Goose Creek today and they were AMAZING! I have two large dogs (one old and one that's young). I came in for a visit today for my older dog and everyone was great! They really do care about my dog and whatever I'm comfortable with.
They took to time to explain everything that is going on with my dog. I will continue to use this vet office for years to come. I made an appointment for my younger dog for next week and I'm getting a third dog in May. All my pups will be at this vet office, I highly recommend this establishment and Dr. Ryan Andrews, Dr. Henley and the technician I think her name was Amanda but she was great as well!

We LOVE AMC Goose Creek! They are so great with our dog Theo's vet anxiety, and work at his pace. I love that they are committed to no fear practices. Everyone is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I also love that they have a groomer and playcare/boarding right next store! I highly highly recommend this vet.

From the moment you walk in, you know you're at the right vet. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and loves in your pet. They are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain things to you. I left feeling my baby was going to finally receive the care I've wanted her to get. It may have been a visit for a second opinion, but I have found her forever doctor.

It was my first time going last week and this will be my only veterinarian! We brought my cat in and they were very sweet and super gentle with her. The Vet was professional, had great bed side manner and gave great recommendations for medicine. They also tell you prices before they do anything which is also a plus!

Been going here for 4 years when we bought a Westie puppy. What a ride these 4 yeras with that wild.child! We love her so much. Have used this Goose Creek vet ofgice for all shots/ wellness/minor illness. In such good hands. 2 years with Dr. Ryan. He's such a nice guy and vet rolled into one. Easy to talk to and si helpful. I wouldn't think of taking my pups anywhere else! One of our puppies was sick and under the care of another vet and a specialist for almost a year. Finally, we decided to bring him here and so thankful we did! He's so much better now, when there was little hope. Now, my other pup is looking at possibly having surgery and I know he couldn't be in better hands than here
