I don't have many pictures to share. Everything you need to see is on their website. It appears to be a converted equestrian training site, so lots of space, which is unusual for most dog facilities. I live in Massachusetts but I drove an hour for this place and it was so well worth it. Our hiskies need space to roam. One of my huskies hates kennels and he did not want to leave this place.
Someone commented that there were too many dogs but I take it these are the people who don't have never tried out this place and are simply looking at the cameras. In fact, I've never seen this many staff and they are in every part of the facility. Dogs are moved from outside to inside and vise versa and this keeps the dogs from getting bored. Checking in/out could be busy but the locals have it managed like clock work.
We had no issues and without a doubt will be driving out again. I want to thank the super friendly staff for making our experience amazing. Also the Webcam is amazing for traveling parents to check in. We need more places like this.

Let me start off by saying I understand the risk of boarding and day care but the lack of telling me is what frustrates me. Dog came home injured after boarding and they didn't tell me. I call to ask what happened and they said they had a note on it. Clearly the person at the desk does not care about letting you know when you pick up your pup that its injured.

This was our first time there (our first at Agility Trials, too!) and it was very nice. People there were very nice, and helpful. There was a parking spot, although not one with ramp access. There is a lift to get our daughter upstairs to view the event, and the guard rail is covered in plexiglass (rather than vertical rungs) to permit better viewing for those that must sit. Unfortunately, through no fault of theirs (the nature of the beast, for those in chairs), some of our daughter's view was still blocked by the horizontal bar.

I recently rescued a dog and was looking for daycare to help her socialize. This one was highly rated so I gave them a try. The facility is large and was clean. The staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions I have. My dog came home exhausted and gets excited when we pull in to the parking lot so I know she is loving it. Their prices are reasonable.
I recently boarded by dog and I didn't worry about her when I was on vacation because I know that she is happy in their care. I also checked out their cat condos for boarding my cats and they are also clean and roomy enough. I would highly recommend American K-9 Country!
