Not happy that I can't even look at the dogs you have available how can anyone tell if you have a pet they want if they can not see a photo or read about them? Make this site so people can see your animals people can't adopt rescue pets if they can not see them

Sam and her knowledge of breeds and temperament is the best. She has helped so many dog and educates about the good, bad and the ugly. I have adopted four animals from her. Two canines and two felines. All amazing furr babies

I would stay away from this rescue. Our neighbor adopted a dog from this rescue last year. He was not vetted and was in foster care when she picked him up in Vermont. It turned out that he had heartworm and it was not on his paperwork and she was not told. This year has been horrendous for this very sweet dog and for her. He suffered terribly. He completed a long thorough heartworm treatment and had a few good months however he had the heartworm long enough that some of the dead heartworms stayed in his heart. He just died yesterday.

Sam and her family are truly wonderful and kind people, and my dog had a fantastic time being boarded there. Definitely a great place to board your pup and not have to worry about them while you are gone. Thanks again for letting Hank live in luxury while I was in the woods!

The first dog I was interested in was gone by the time I heard back. They proposed a new dog. I responded to email on Monday and I have not heard back from them. I would love more information on this dog. Getting discouraged.

Random Rescue is our go to rescue! They do an amazing job getting to know their animals, take excellent care of them, and are diligent about trying to make the best match possible for them. We've adopted from them several times and send everyone in search of a rescue their way!

Very nice family, helped me get my girl back after she went on an adventure when mommy was at work! What an amazing rescue! Will be looking for a place to donate!

They pick up our dog that ran away on a Sunday we called several time and went to their location with no answer or return call. When we finally got our dog back on Tuesday we where never notified that there facility was infested with kennel cough so we had no idea our dog was contagious and brought him home 3 days later he started showing symtoms at this time he had already been around several other dogs so we now have 4 dogs that are sick with kennel cough.

When we went to the vet they asked if he had been picked up by random rescue and we said yes how did you know that. They explained they had serveral dogs that had been brought in that had been at random rescue and all of them had kennel cough. That vet also said they had called random rescue to inform them of this and they didn't do anything about it or even notify people when they come to get their dogs.

Horrible experience. Stressed out people who have taken on far more rescue dogs than they can handle. I arrived at the exact appointed time to meet a German Shepherd that I was very interested in adopting. Upon arriving i could not find anyone for 20 minutes while I listened to at least 50 or 60 neglected dogs barking away. Finally the one highly stressed out employee showed up, was rude to me in general, but at least let me take the dog for a walk.

As an experienced German Shepherd owner I had no trouble with this dog (who the employee described as "out of control") and we got along great. I was told that I was approved for adoption and drove up to Barre town to get the cash payment that they demanded. Upon returning I was fed lies about the dog having a vet appointment for a booster shot (to which I replied 'just tell me what shot it is and I'll have my vet take care of it) and that "the dog's papers aren't here" (to which i replied 'just send them to me').

I left again starting to wonder what is wrong with this place? When i get home there is an email simply saying we can not let you adopt this dog. No explanation, just a 180 degree turn from what they had told me. I asked for an explanation and 24 hours later have received none. Avoid this place like the plague--they have no idea what they are doing, are overloaded with dogs, are not honest or up front, and are just weird and unethical. Again, AVOID!
