We used Pawsnclaws4u pet sitting service the first week of July 2013 and could not have been more pleased. The owners Jamie and Stefan were quick to reply to my emailed inquiry from their website (which is also helpful and informative) and Stefan came out for my free consultation. He came prepared with notepad to take notes as we walked the house and I told him about our needs.
He asked about our routines and wrote down reminders for himself on everything from the whistles and "kissy" noises we make to let our cats know its 'eat-time' to the times we usually fed them. He was calm and quiet, which works great for pets who are without their owners and don't want someone busting in and rushing around. We have 2 indoor and 3 outdoor (feral) cats to be cared for. Stefan didn't even blink an eye when I told him he may have to rinse raccoon pee out of the bowls for the feral cats before putting new food in.
Each day we were gone, Stefan texted from the house to give us an update. This was priceless for me. When we returned, the cats bounced back much faster than normal and Stefan had even done things we hadn't discussed like bringing in our paper, our large recycling bin and washing the pets dishes! He even made a suggestion about returning our key so we didn't need to set up another visit to get it back.
The litters were clean and the house looked great. After having a run in with one too many service companies that don't do what they say, it was a breath of fresh air to find one that does more than what they promise. Prices were very reasonable and the contract for service I signed helped me feel that my wishes were written down, not just memorized. Super Experience with this company!
