The place is usually great for dog food. My first time purchasing the live meal worms 75 to a container. I fed this to my pet and whenn I got to the bottom container there was blue and green mold. Gross! I called the store to let them know and they were like, your pet should be fine. I was dismayed at the lack of care for selling a bad product and not showing any care for the pet that consumes this. Be aware.

DO NOT GO HERE. If you own a large long haired dog. Don't give your dog a bath here. Long haird double coated dogs need more then 30minutes to be bathed and dried. Rude management and how they handles the situation when more people showed up to bathe their dogs. Will NOT be going there again. Not just to bathe my dog but due to services, I will not even buy my dog and cat food here anymore either.

I adopted a sweet little rat from this horrible place two days ago. Got him home and not even 24 hours later, he's sneezing all over the place, chattering and has blooding coming from his nose. Clear signs of an upper respiratory. Woman admitted over the phone that she was aware and sold him to me like this anyway on top of knowing he was intended to be a friend for my other completely healthy rat at home.
Save your money and buy a healthy pet or save the poor furry friends stuck here if you have the time and money. This woman offered to refund me the money and drop my rat off lol over my dead body would I ever drop my pet back off there in their care.

Stopped in for the first time to check things out. Firstly, the workers were very nice! But the conditions for the animals were pretty gross. The cockatiels and the conure were in guinea pig enclosures. It didn't look clean, like it wasn't cleaned in awhile. No toys or barely any toys from what I remember. The cockatiels looked unwell except for the one WF pearl who looked quite lively.
One looked to be very sick, possibly french molt, which would then make all the other birds carriers/sick as well. I hope that's not the case. Not to mention everything including the animals were overpriced. That I do understand, these are chain pet stores, they are always overpriced. I would not shop here ever, especially to protect my own birds from whatever diseases I may accidentally bring home from here. I don't know how the other locations are, but this one is definitely not good!

Hi Folks, I know, I know, its been too long since my last review. Well I'm happy to inform you dear intrepid reader that I have recovered from a crippling 3 year battle with carpal tunnel syndrome. But thats neither here nor there. (However I will say that for those of you dealing with hand pain, pillates and jump ropes 4 times a week did the trick!) On to the review, how many of you are like me and have to deal with a kitty cat that can be at times. difficult. I'm looking at you Marge! Yes, my kitty is a squeamish eater and refuses the same dish if eaten too regularly. That's where incredible pets comes into play.
They have an exhaustive variety of canned cat food that keeps my Margery from throwing a hissy fit. And not too mention I the service, purrrrrfect!;) Thanks for reading folks. I give incredible pets 2 paws up!

I've been shopping here for several years. Up until now, I would've given it 5 stars. Things have gone downhill since Patrick, the former manager left. It's a young staff with no concept of customer service. They have more interest in their own personal conversations, than to assist customers or even engage in conversation at the checkout. With other options for pet supplies in Auburn, I'll be looking elsewhere.

I bought a cute little ball python here. I named it Dizzy. Dizzy has a genetic condition that Shelly explained to me. She listened to my concerns and gave me advice. The rest of the staff is great, I've only managed to remember Shelly's name (for all the right reasons). I like coming in to look at the live animals. It's not a large shop, so don't expect to find extra special items here, but the staff will help where they can.
One thing that I like is that they ask each other for expertise advice. If someone doesn't know something about something, they ask someone who does. For reptiles, they have limited supplies, but they do have mice, both frozen and live. They're inexpensive, too. I've attached a photo of Dizzy eating. Updated to include the newest enclosure I've gotten from here.

This store has an incredible selection of food for pets. I have a 14 yr old jack Russel who just stopped eating anything but bites of people food. I could not get proper nutrition in him. I came here by my vets suggestion. Oh my goodness! Not only a huge quality food selection, but the most important thing, great staff! They helped me find several different foods.they take back anything he wont eat! I FINALLY FOUND A WINNER. my dog loves Stella's chicken. I think they saved my boys life. Thank you so very much!

Always preferred the auburn location so much so after we moved to Roseville we'd drive up to Auburn still. After today's experience I don't think we'll ever return. After driving from Roseville we went inside and patiently waited in line at a register for someone to come help. Everyone was busy or helping another customer which was no problem we just waited a couple minutes until someone was available.
After waiting for a while, another family came in with three dogs and interrupted a busy employee telling them they wanted a dog wash. The employee told them of course and they'd help them in one second. I then spoke up and said I've been here waiting for the dog wash. I was then told I'd have to wait 30 minutes for her to be done with her three dogs even though I was there first and had been patiently waiting in line. So disappointed with the costumer service

This location has the absolute best customer service. Patrick, Bradley, Juliet and a couple of others who's names I failed to get were awesome. Took my very dirty dog there for a bath. Used the self serve dog wash and will use them again and more often. Store was clean and well stocked with pretty much anything you could need for just about any pet you have or want to purchase.
Not big like a few other majors in the area but just good old fashion kind, respectful people who seem to go the extra mile to help you and make sure you get what you're after even if they have to refer you to some place else. Keep up the good work to the staff and to management, remember that happy employees are usually loyal, productive and the best asset you could have. Too much competition out there to not offer the best service possible.

I bought some dogfood on sale and I brought it home and it was TOTALLY rotten and spoiled! I wondered why my dog would not eat it. One smell told me why. The smell was enough to make me puke! I took it back to the store and they would NOT allow me credit for the rotten food to buy something that wasn't rotten! They said it was because it was bought on sale.
I bought two bags and wasted a lot of money on rotten food! I WILL NEVER, EVER GO BACK TO THIS PET STORE AGAIN! SHAME ON THEM! I WOULD NEVER, EVER RECOMMEND THIS PET STORE TO ANYONE!

I used to come into incredible pets all the time, it was my favorite pet store-the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and they always seem to have what I need. Unfortunately, I went in there recently and was quite disappointed. Very FEW staff have much knowledge on animals INCLUDING the store manager. I have quite extensive knowledge myself and to hear them tell me incorrect information is really concerning.
It seems to me that incredible pets is changing their system by hiring new employees who considerably seem to be "learning as they go." Unfortunately, whatever incredible pets is attempting to do is not working, I'm on my way bark avenue and I suggest you consider doing the same if you want credible information on any product you're concerned about!

This is a lovely store. They really care about their pets and their customers. I bought a very expensive cat "tree" there several years ago. It could withstand a hurricane however the carpet got old. It lasted four years! So I bought another recently. Unfortunately it was made with very inferior carpet. With the cats just climbing to the top, the floor was covered with carpeting strings that were coming out everywhere.
I took it back and explained that the one I had for four years didn't do this and I think this one they used an unfortunate choice of carpeting. The person who helped me was extremely understanding and practically apologized even tho it was in no way his fault! They gave me a new one without any problems. They carried it out to my car and my cats love it. The new one is perfect! I just really like this place. I trust them.

I bought mini parrot Paco 12 plus years ago and was told P would talk and although he has yet to do so (late bloomer?) I was pleased with the health of Paco. I buy P's millet and Rowdy Bush here and recently purchased two Zebra finches and talked with Bird Expert Linda about care/feeding; have also called about details and have been called back promptly with feedback. Finches Fran/Andy seem healthy and now I'm asking about Fran since she seems to be a mother so I'll expect a call soon regarding care of the babies. I am greeted when I enter the store and I'm out in a timely manner, always a few checkers at the ready.

Unfortunately there is no place for zero stars. I have been going to this store for over 10 years and slowly but surely the service has gone downhill. I don't find most of the employees know much about dog food etc. However it seems the other reviews are good. Today I called to see if they had a brand of dog food in and I was told yes. asked what size I needed etc.
When I went to pick it up, they didn't have the brand or the size. I only use them when I'm in a hurry, and today was their final nail in the coffin. She apologized over and over again; however I was in a hurry. so I had to go to another place for the food I needed. When I got home, there was a call from the woman who messed up letting me know they'd have it "tomorrow".
I don't need it tomorrow, I needed it today. I will NEVER go into that store again. If you really want a clean, well stocked and highly educated staff, go to Pet Food Express in Roseville. Shame on me for being in such a hurry.
