I ordered food yesterday, got a call this morning saying they didn't have the protein I wanted not a big deal then showed up 30 mins and there's sign posted they are closing early at 5pm. It would've been nice for the employee to mention that this morning knowing that I would be by sometime today to pick up my food. I wasted 40 mins of my time and drove 15 miles. Maybe it's time to start ordering on Chewy Because this isn't the first negative review I have posted at the store.

Lady was very helpful w getting me crickets for my tarantula.

This is a very long overdue review for good reason! Back in late September 2021, I came here in hopes to find a little buddy for my new pet rat. They just so happened to have a little dumbo ear rat being sold exclusively as a pet, and the sweet lady helped me out so much getting him. She gave me a free bag of oxbow food to take him with me as well!

Let me just say that this little rat has grown up to be the sweetest pet I've ever owned, and I think it has a lot to do with the short time he had here at this store. Thank you guys for keeping my baby boy happy & safe before I brought him in :

I always have the best experience, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I have three dogs and I like getting the dog food customized. Also they have lots of other food and items for other animal pets.

Came here to check out what they have for cats and their selection is very, very small. All the products in the store seem to cater to dogs and it also smelled very heavily of wet dog when I walked in, not pleasant at all. If you're looking for dog supplies, this would a good place but if you are also shopping for your cats, don't bother. They carry awful brands for cat food and the selection is just disappointing.

My husband and I PCS from Colorado Springs to San Antonio. We are feeding our dogs good, supplementary food to keep them healthy, active, and happy. Colorado Springs loves there animals and sells great food. So we were worried that we were not able to find a place. Luckily we did petsbarn, omg I'm so excited we found y'all! So they have there OWN brand that they sell called ACTIVA.

My dogs love it! Love love love it! My oldest dog he's a chihuahua and super super picky. I would never ever think he would love hard kibbles. And You can add supplements powder to the kibbles there is sooo many to choose from And he's obsessed I soaked with a little water or goat milk to make it soft and he eats! and pets barn has there own freeze dried food, you add a little sprinkle and BAM! He's munching.

We have our other 2 dogs and the girls love it we are so thankful for finding you guys! You will see us more often! Here's a photo and great customer service super nice, patient, and helpful thank you see you guys again and again.

The staff was so amazing helped with a harness for my dog, and gave her a dog treat. I loved their treatment to me and my pup. I will surely will be back.

Customer service is great! I got help right away, didn't know what was the most milk replacement for newborn chihuahuas, I'm sure coming back, excellent Customer service

I've been coming here for 2 years and the customer service is always on point! The manager is friendly, the workers are welcoming and fast. My dogs eat the Activia No Corn Chicken Flavor kibble and they absolutely love it. They won't eat anything else They've got a large variety of snacks and fresh dog treats. Can't beat the service and quality of food/snacks!

Please don't waste your money here they're extremely rude. Everytime I come here there's no greeting or anything. They seem like they don't want to answer questions either. Well today, one of the employees SNAPPED AT ME over a small misunderstanding. So this was the LAST time I ever come here and support the business. I think her name was Gabbie. OH apparently the manager wasn't present either, how convenient.

One of the workers was on her phone the entire time. Another thought she was a veterinarian, trying to sell a dog food product I didn't need or want.

I always find what I'm looking for at a better price than most other places. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, I love bringing my pets to see if they like what I'm buying them.

Shop local El Paso! This is one of those Great local alternative place for Healthy pet food and supplies. I've never had to worry about pet food recalls this far. My dogs love they're flavor variety of dog food and especially those smell delicious oatmeal biscuits. I personally prefer to shop local.

I love this store. It is big, roomy, and has everything you need for you pets. I love the food selections they have and the ability to personalize/ customize it for your 4 legged friends.

I've been to several locations this was the worst. It's 12:25pm. I believe it's social hour at this location.everyone is talking to themselves.no one was helping. I even heard a guy talking about his wife being a nurse.uhmmmmmm.social hour the other 3 young lady's talking about this.and that.that.and.this no one really helping. Never will I come back to this location again! So if you're in the mood to socialize this is the location to come. if-not don't come!

This place says it's a discount pet store but don't be fooled, they have high quality treats and pet food. We just bought homemade treats for our dogs and Fromms dog food. Great prices, friendly staff. Place smells like a bakery.

Have to update. I've come in several times lately and every time I was helped they have done a great job! The guy with dark hair and glasses, kinda short was very very helpful and nice! I'm appreciating them turning things around here! Wish they sold more live animals though

I love this store because as soon as you walk in there is a unique pleasant smell. Very clean and workers are friendly. My only concern is the animals being sold are in poor condition. To be more specific the medium rats cage is so disgusting and the rats are crammed what really worried me is that their water bottle was on the ground and the rats seemed thirsty while the employees were on their phones goofing around.

I like to support local business so I now buy my dogs food here. I am always greeted or asked if I need help. I buy the activa dog food and my German shepherd loves it. I love that it is buy 2 get 1 free even on the large 15 pound bags. They had a deal this month too were you get a pound of dog biscuits free with a bag of activa dog food. They had all kids of flavors I'm sure my boy loved although he's not exactly a picky eater:P They also have a military discount!

Nick the nutritionist really helped me out in regards to finding the right supplement for my older dog as well as a better brand of food! Thanks Nick!

I just moved to SA and this is the closest pet store that sells the kind of food my dogs eat. The store was empty and 3 young man working there, texting, talking, etc. While i had to moved the ladder and help myself to the shelves. While they looked and didnt even bother to come help

These guys have it all! All the good, natural brands for your canine (or feline) companion. The layout is very sensible and easy to navigate and the sales associates are very helpful and do their best to find you discounts. This is our go to pet store for dry food and will continue to get our business for the future.

We love Pet's Barn the staff even the manager is great but Sarah is AWESOME! We love her keep up the great work guy's.

Pros: I like that it's a smaller store so easy to navigate. The employees were helpful! My puppy made a mess and I was frantically looking for a clean up station but two employees cleaned and mopped the area for me! I apologized several times, but they were genuine with their responses that it was no big deal. Also an employee helped me choose the best dog food so that I didn't have to read alllll of the labels of the food on their wall. Lastly my cashier graciously helped me carry my 30lb bag of food to my car ( he could see I was struggling w my other items and my puppy).

They have a wall full of excellent dog food- none that can be bought at department stores. Cons: First they do offer military discounts and I was told I would get it, but there was no discount on my receipt. Second, I bought dog treats for buy one get one, but the advertised price was about $3 cheaper than what it rang up as. I could have pointed out these errors after I realized it in my car, but its not something I enjoy doing so I left it alone.

So I've been at this location a couple of times but only recently found out that they gave military discounts. The prices are from middle-of-the-road to a little bit higher end than the average super, gigantic, awesome, fantastic pet stores (aka Petsmart). Although there are a few things that they offer here that Petsmart does not - for me that would be a particular brand of litter for my bunny.

Now that discount I mentioned earlier? Really didn't make that much of a difference on my bill. I spent about 22 bucks total and only got about a buck off the entire bill. But I guess any little bit helps, right? A couple of the employees have been a bit standoffish a time or two but I'll live.
