OH So Pretty

Simply the Best there is! Second time from my Chester, a long hair feline looking oh so pretty after grooming Monday! Thank you Dawn.

I never leave reviews but I'm really upset. I have an 11 week old Great Pyrenees mix that I brought in to get used to grooming life. I dropped her off and told the guy that was going to groom her that I did NOT want her face touched. She had a small piece of hair sticking up in front of her eye so I told him that was the only thing ok to cut, leave everything else alone.

He acknowledged what I said yet somehow just completely ignored me! I got her back and he trimmed her entire face. She looks ridiculous. I have to fix what he did myself because she looks horrible. The shop is beautiful and I'm sure the other groomers are wonderful but this tainted our experience so we will not be going back.

It's hit or miss! I've been taking my pup here for over 3 years and never will again. They never follow instructions, charge you more for what they say they needed to do including extra charge for using credit card. This last time they literally butchered her beautiful fur. Be prepared when you pick your baby up!

Very strange experience taking my senior pet there for grooming years ago. The owner was one of the rudest and most arrogant women that I've ever met. I was glad to get the appointment but that was wiped away by her resentful attitude before during and after the appointment. If I had another choice, I would've left with my pet who was in dire straits.

If she didn't want to do it, she should've said so. She made rude remarks. She made a phone call and I heard her say that grooming my pet had delayed her next appointment. Why did she have to sound so disrespectful with her tone of voice? I wouldn't return there if that was the last grooming salon in the surrounding counties.

I've taken my dog Rylee here since December of last year. We had some pretty bad experiences at other local groomers, so it was safe to say I was nervous. Everyone that I've met here, from groomers to office staff, has been super friendly and I can tell they really do care about the pets that come in! Rylee has seen Dawn and AJ and my experiences with both have been great.

We've booked with AJ these last few times and I've never seen my dog happier at a groomer! AJ always nails her cut & I can see a positive change in Rylee's behavior every time we go. She used to leave our old spot with her tail between her legs and shaking. This time, she walked out with her tail wagging and looking like the happiest dog in the world! So thankful this amazing team of groomers is in Jenkintown to give my dog a great cut :

Never Again! If I could give negative stars I would. I have taken my 2 year old Golden Retriever here multiple times. Most times the trimming looked OK but not this time. They shaved her and her topcoat which should NEVER be done to a Golden. Not only will it damage her top coat and undercoat, it now leaves her skin unprotected from the cold winter and hot summer sun. Being a professional dog groomer, you would think they would know better. Not fair to a dog!

They returned our golden retriever completely shaved. You should NEVER shave a golden retriever. I even showed the groomer a picture of the cut we wanted. They've now ruined our golden retrievers coat. If you have a golden retriever do yourself a favor and don't take them to oh so pretty. We will never go back there. For reference I have attached photos.

The picture on the left is what we asked for. The picture on the right is what we got. Oh and the owner was EXTREMELY rude and condescending when I went to talk to her about our experience. She did refund us our money, however, the way she spoke to me was unacceptable. Update, it gets better. After seeing the negative reviews we posted about our experience, the owner called me and yelled at me on the phone asking us to take one of them down.

I'm sorry but as a customer that is our prerogative to write a negative review. That does not give you the right to scream at someone over the phone. Unprofessional business owner. Not how you run a business.

My boy looks so handsome. There were a few spots that the groomer missed, but otherwise they treated him well and he looked so good!

Vanessa was wonderful with our drama queen Shiba Inu. She is so fluffy, and her nails are clipped, which isn't an easy task

Hi priced and the grooming is shotty. My suggestion is to hire good groomers and lower your prices or take your dogs to the hair cuttery you will get a better cut.

Best place to take your baby to get groomed. He always comes out so handsome, best in the area.

I took my Westie to their Hatboro location and the groomer Kim messed up her nails terrible most were not even cut, her haircut was uneven and she was there for three hours! When me and my husband walked in to pick her up Kim looked at her co-coworker and smirked. My Westie is a puppy and this was my second time taking her to Kim however Kim griped so bad it was terrible telling me she doesn't like being groomed well she is a puppy and it was just her second time being there.

We paid good money $80.00 plus a tip and felt the place was racist after the last visit, the first visit they had my Westie playing with big dogs and I seen a pit bull come in they they had to control The owner Dawn never bothered to contact me back and when I called the girl who answered the phone was rude she laughed and told me to take her somewhere else and laughed! Dawn should not be in business she is a fake dog lover who is only in business for the money only! SHAME ON YOU KIM I FOLLOWED YOU FROM PETSMART YEARS AGO AND TOOK MY YORKIE TO YOU FOR YEARS I MEAN YEARS AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREATED US! WE GAVE YOU GENERIOUS TIPS AND CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND YOU TRASHED MY EXPENSIVE DOG (WESTIE) I HAD HER FLOWN IN AS A PUPPY FROM SEATTLE WASHINGTON COST ME A FORTUNE, YOU ARE A TERRIABLE PERSON, SHAME ON YOU, YOU WILL HAVE NO GOOD LUCK IN LIFE! 1

Dawn is the best! My dog has issues with anybody but her grooming him. She has a magic touch.

Terrible experience. The owner is awful. You can read her responses to negative reviews and feel the condescending nature of her tone. Don't waste your time or money! Go to Plush Pups instead.

I will never take my dog here again. My dog was scheduled to get a bath. 5 hours later, I didn't hear from them and had to call and was told they just started his bath. He was never taken outside to go to the bathroom during the 5 hour period and was left in a small pen (he is 130 lbs, a giant breed). I was charged $89 for this terrible experience.

Love the new location where you watch the groomers perform their great services! Kim has always done a great job with my little dog. - love seeing him and other pups walking around in such a big area after they are groomed. Great people!

Very, very professional and fantastic results. They take care of our silver tipped punch-faced Himalayan sweetie, Cielo. Wouldn't take her anywhere else. Cielo agrees! She loves the care and attention she gets at Oh So Pretty. Thanks to the whole crew for treating our little love with genuine care and expertise. Cielo will see you soon!

Easy walk-in for cat nail trim from out of town. Great customer service and done in a few minutes. Plus, kitty did not seem traumatized

While I do like the work they do (which is why I have been taking my dogs there), I was extremely disappointed that my appointment was apparently cancelled because the pet stylist I booked with had left, but I NEVER received a call to cancel/reschedule. Although the groomer I spoke with told me that phone calls had been made, I had never received one. Worse, I was told I would have to wait 6 weeks, or they recommend other groomers where I would have to wait 3 at least weeks. There was no offer to be put on a wait list. Had I received a call weeks ago, I could have made another appointment and would not be left in the lurch.

I used to live it here and only use them. The price to shave my moms dog was $55. I just took her and she was matted and needed a "wet shave" which is extra. No one called me to ok this I was charged $93. The owner told me she feels when dogs are matted her groomers deserve more. Mind you my husband tipped her as well. It would not have been an issue if I was contacted but since when do you add things to people's account without checking? The owner was rude and dismissive and told me "to get my dog groomed more than twice a year"

My previous experiences with Oh so Pretty have been remarkable, I was relieved to find a groomer that could properly cut my Wheaten and deal with my terriers sentiment. Then Noel, the best groomer ever, left and the service went to garbage. We waited SIX weeks for an appointment and they proceed to shave all of his hair. We requested an early appointment because our Wheaten is not the best behaved around dogs, never an issue before. BUT today, we have a horrible grooming experience, a BALD Wheaten and a $40 assessment for difficulty. This is BS. I could've done this myself.

I brought my dog here twice now. The first time I brought him, I had a weird feeling but I wanted to give them a chance as a friend of mine had recommended them. I came to pick him up, and they had no idea where he was in the shop. I could hear him barking in the back frantically. Evidently this is "normal" for some groomers. I was very unhappy. I do believe in second chances and they looked busy that day.

I called to make an appointment and the girl who answered was extremely rude. She kept interrupting me and was very snarky. She was the same way when my fiance called as well. She told us they were booked out until August 3rd but didn't even give us the chance to ask for a specific day or time. We were so thrown off by the attitude and vibe we told her to forget it. We will take our Golden elsewhere.

Had high hopes, but very disappointed. Used this groomer once for my two Havanese. Everything seemed fine, when we picked them up, but when we got home we realized that Elsa was bleeding from her front paw. Blood on the carpet and the sofa. We called right away and the groomer said, Oh, she must have started bleeding again. Try some corn starch. AGAIN!?

Might have been nice to have a heads-up. The groomer said she cut the nail too short. Upon further inspection, it became apparent that the rest of her claws were not clipped. In addition, the claws of the other dog were very long and did not appear to have been clipped, which was supposed to be included. Perhaps she was worried about clipping them too short.

Both dogs were very thirsty when we got home, and I don't recall seeing any water in the area where they were kept. Same groomer did both dogs, was originally supposed to be two different ones, originally. Gave her a nice tip (cash or Venmo only) and regret doing so.

Fantastic! We took our Cavapoo Franklin here for the first time today. The facility was very clean and cute- not to mention when we walked in all the dogs getting groomed seemed happy and well taken care of. When we picked up Franklin he had the perfect puppy cut! The groomer followed all of my instructions and asked great questions to ensure a great cut! The price was excellent! Highly, highly recommend this pet spa!

The best groomers ever! I've been bouncing around trying to find a groomer that I like and this place takes the win! they're super nice and they are willing to accommodate. My dog tends to get matted near his tail and usually groomers just shave my dog BALD which is NOT what I ask for. Oh So Pretty groomers take the extra step to detangle instead of just shaving your dog. 10/10 recommend.

Just tried Oh So Pretty for my dog and they did a fantastic job. I had a bad experience at another local pet groomer and told the team you know my special instructions and they did a great job. The best part was my dog was not shaking and freaking out while she was there she seem to enjoy it

Been going here for over a year now and I love them. Maverick used to see Jeanne at the Hatboro location, we miss her! He now sees Kim, and both of them did/do such an amazing job with him! He can be stubborn for his feet and face, I'm working on him as much as I can but he's very set in his ways. He always comes home looking amazing, even everywhere, and almost always with a bandanna or bow tie. I love that they're honest with me about how he acts while he's there so I can get a good idea on what I need to work on.

This was my first time bringing my Sasha here. I have a teacup yorkie that only weights 2.5 pounds and I will not be bringing her back. They had the nerve to charge me $15 for being 15mins late, so I left paying $90 for a mediocre haircut! They never disclosed this to me when they called me to pick her up that's, what really pissed me off! Beware, these businesses are really making up for the months of revenue they lose due to the 3 month Covid lockdown and it disgusting!

Beautiful grooming for my Shorkie. Met the owner, she is extremely educated and knowledgeable as well as her staff. She was very accommodating and patient with my many questions. I highly recommend any of the groomers!

In the past, I have been satisfied. However, this will be the last time I use this spa. Took my cat to get a shampoo, lion cut, and nails trimmed--the usual. Got my cat home and the cut is sloppy, uneven, and there are tuffs of hair around her backside. I called back and asked the groomer if they could fix it because I wasn't satisfied. She was like I will if you "hold her." It's not enough that I paid $70 and tipped--I should have to hold the cat, too, now?

Even if she did try to scratch, she can't be the first cat who tried this, I have always assumed they have protective gear and protocols for that. And why charge that price if you weren't able to complete the cut? Very disappointed. Someone recommended Main Lion--it's on the other side of town but I have put in a call to see if they can fix the cat's cut. I'm sorry about this too, because this place was very convenient. Oh well.

Great place to have your dog groom. My one dog is leary of new people and has a major separation anxiety. It was amazing she went right with them and did not look back or scream for me. Her hair cut was great it was even all over and she did not look like a plucked chicken. Will definitely recommend and will be taking them here as their new grooming shop.

Friendly pet salon, and I can always get an appointment within a day or two. Absolutely Love Nicole! My dog always looks great when I pick him up.

After my first experience last year, I'd generally decided I'd only use these guys in a pinch since they were local. But after a second visit I don't think I'll be returning at all. It's easy to see why others have been put off by the demeanor of the owner and staff. They truly try to be kind and polite. But OSP still feels like a very 'stressful' shop.

On both occasions, they've told me about how "naughty" my dog was. The second time they even showed me how they made note of his behavior (When he was a Five. Month. Old. Puppy.) Who does this expecting to get repeat business? When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that he would be three-and-a-half to four hours (!). He was not there that long of course.

It was more like 90 minutes. But again, the demeanor of the staff and the four hour estimate was probably a product of the stress. Head grooming was okay and consistent with our requests but instructions on length were ignored and the coat was near completely sheered with what looked like a 7 blade with stair-stepping throughout the torso. Nails were barely touched.

Price was a WHOPPING $58.30 plus tip - so there is a serious disconnect in value. My dog is now 12 months and I've been to other, better groomers who are better able to handle young terriers, so I've forgiven OSP for their relative lack of experience. I believe in supporting local business and, to their credit, OSP has supported our neighborhood kids' softball leagues and other community events. But be your own judge (if you don't mind your dog's disposition being scrutinized), and certainly reconsider if you're at all discriminating.

A friend recommend OSP to me and to my pleasant surprise Jeanie was here. I went to her before OSP at another groomers because she was recommended for my dog who had neck surgery and other special needs, she's was the only one my dog would love going to see. I was so happy to reunite with her here and my fur baby remembered her too and she always does a great job and I leave with ease and trust her and my dog leaves so pretty & happy. Jeanie is the Best!

I just got home from bringing my dog here this morning. I called yesterday to get pricing to get his nails trimmed, and was given a straightforward answer. I've never brought my dog to the groomers before, but I had a great experience today! As soon as we walked in, all the ladies gushed over my English Bulldog Niles - which he loved. They had his nails trimmed in just a few minutes, at the price that was quoted over the phone.

I asked for the pricing for grooming services, and they said they had time right then to give him a wash, and his nail trimming + ear cleaning would be included in that new price ($31 normally, $25 for me today- I think a new customer price?)! It took about an hour, then he was out, lookin' good as new :) Of course as soon as we went outside he kicked up a bunch of dirt and ran around like crazy, but that's my own problem. Great service, we will be back. Thanks girls!

I was quoted a price over the phone for nail trimming. When I arrived I was given the choice of trimming or grinding. I opted for grinding which I assumed would cost more. When the service was completed I was charged double. No set prices means I won't be back.
