Horrible kennel. If you care about your pet, DO NOT leave them there. When I would call to check on my dog, the attitude of the woman on the phone was as if I was bothering her by calling- and that's if anyone even answers the phone- which they rarely do. Our dog came home with an eye infection and two puncture wounds on his neck from being bitten by another dog- and no one at the kennel said anything to us about him having been injured. Absolutely disgusting. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I boarded my senior cat here for 23 days while I moved from Denver out west. Pros: - They board cats (very rare and difficult to find) - "Condos" are decent (until you bring your own bed, food bowl) - Walk-around time, where they can leave the cage and wander the room - They washed her bed when she threw up in it Cons: - ZERO updates for extended stays (unless you beg) - They advise "all of our feline guests have their own special cat condos in a dog-free section of our boarding facility to provide them a safe and relaxing personal environment." - I misunderstood and thought this meant completely separate. it's not.

There is a single door separating the rooms so the dogs continuous barking can be heard quite loudly in the cat room. - I don't know when she threw up, but they never put the bed back in the condo even after they washed it I don't know anything about the dog side, but hopefully I never need to board my cat again.

We paid 120 dollars they did not clip her nails she. Was still a little wet and she has a lot of shed hair

Our 1.5 year old maltipoo, Honey, had her first day camp experience over the weekend while we skied Steamboat. We can't say enough about RK Pet Ranch and how well they took care of our girl. She had multiple walks, nap time, and was put into smaller play groups with well-matched dogs. Honey was not ready to leave when we picked her up at the end of the day. We can't wait to bring her back :

This place is amazing! We came to steamboat for a long weekend and brought our dog here while we skied. The second day we brought her in, she was wagging her tail in the car and leaped out of the car running into the ranch. We couldn't be happier to see how happy she was to spend the day there! Clearly they took great care of our little princess and we highly highly recommend!

Fantastic place to leave your pet! Anytime we have to leave our 16 year old dog, we are a little nervous. Cheryl put us at ease immediately - so caring and clearly loves animals. She took such great care of our dog! He was so happy when we picked him up, walking around like he owned the place. Didn't want to leave! The entire area is clean. I really can't say enough good things.

If you are visiting Steamboat and need a caring and comfortable place to leave your pet, this is the place. We brought our 16 yr old Jack Russell here and he was treated with the same care and tenderness we would give him at home. Cheryl was so kind and sweet. Beautiful views from the facility. Very clean and friendly. Can't go wrong.

Our dog had a blast! Very friendly staff and convenient location. We will definitely be using them again the next we visit Steamboat.

First timers boarding our dog here. She had a great time. Online reservations were easy, drop off and pick up were a breeze, and Lonnie (owner) responds promptly to emails. We had a little problem finding the Ranch at first but that was minor. Will use again for our boarding needs when in the area.

This was the first time we've ever boarded our dogs, so we were a bit scared, but we looked at the reviews and felt they were in good hands. We have a 5 year and 2 year old yellow lab that needed to stay overnight as we were in town. I couldn't have been more impressed by the care they received! The workers greeted us with kindness, our doggos with kindness, asked about feeding, and pretty much every other detail needed to make them comfortable for the day and night.

We wanted to check before nightfall that all was good. they answered our phone call and gladly gave us feedback. We showed up to get them the next day and everything was amazing. We learned one of our dogs is a jumper (over fences). never knew or expected that, but good to know now. For dog lovers and owners. this place is AMAZING! I wish they were closer to my home because I'd use them more.

My boys are home now and whooped! Thank you for your service and giving them as much love as we would! Our kiddo starts college in Steamboat in the fall, so we'll definitely reach back out!

I starting bringing Finley here because I had heard so many good things from other people! Word of mouth goes a long way! Finley attends the daycamp a couple times a week twice a month when I have to sleep to work my night shifts. The staff here is great and they have flexible pick up and drop off times for people so they can get to and from work on time. She is always excited when we pull up to the doors and the staff works with her on manners as well. Not to mention, their prices are pretty reasonable!

Peggy and John were fantastic. It felt great to be able to have our two dogs come to Steamboat with us and not be left in some Kennel in town. They had open spaces, fresh air, and snow. Peggy and John were responsive to their needs and were great to interface with. We were able to take the dogs into town for a day and they accommodated us returning outside (early of) their afternoon drop-off time. Great place and reasonably priced!
