Cabin Creek Gundogs, located in Lakeview, Oregon is owned and operated by Jess and Tifanee Spradley. Jess has been training and hunting over dogs for the past 20 years. He has always been impressed with the hunting breeds and their desire to seek out game. More impressive to him is the relationship that develops between a trainer and his hunting companion.
She is always out front, very stylish on birds, and has been a natural retriever since the start. Reba is still competing in field trials but her true passion is hunting chukars. Annie is truly a magnificent dog. She is absolutely determined to find birds and goes about her hunt like no dog I have ever seen.
At Cabin Creek Gundogs, we've had the opportunity to train and breed many kinds of dogs over the years. As we see what breeds are the most popular with hunters, and are among the most versatile to train, we're turning our focus to the breeding of pudelpointers. Pudelpointers are originally from Germany, and are a cross between a German hunting poodle (spelled, pudel, in German) and an English pointer.
Our goal at Cabin Creek is to produce a dog that will become a member of your family and will be enjoyed for years to come in the field as well as in the home. This is achieved with a very solid understanding of the basic commands followed by advanced training in whatever direction you feel will make you and your companion the most effective team in the field.
