This place is amazing! Debbie and her husband make my dog feel like he is at his 2nd home. I have been taking my dog ESPN there for years and he loves it. I love that they take the dogs out 3 times a day. My dog has literally gotten spoiled to that. You can tell that they treat the pets well because my dog always looks forward to going inside as soon as we arrive. I appreciate not having to worry about him when I need to be away.

Just picked up our dog after a week of staying. He seems well fed and was happy to see us. Very disappointed that he smells absolutely AWFUL.He was a tad damp so we assumed he was bathed at first but it seems he was just out in the rain. I can some smell shampoo from when ever they did bath him, but he shouldn't be left out in the rain when spending $250. He said their tarp fell in the morning and fixed it first thing. We didn't pick him up till 11 leaving time for him to re-bathed, knowing he was being sent home today.

We had not boarded our dog in two years and we were apprehensive about leaving her for almost 10 days. We boarded her at Little Paws Pet Resort and we were beyond happy with the facility and the owners are just precious animal loving people! Very clean, safe, and accommodating. When we walked in the rooms smelled of lavender and we could see all the sweet dogs playing on several monitors.
Any time I called to check on my sweetie, Debbie would always respond back and make me feel at ease. I also saw Terry cleaning outside constantly. This is an incredible place to bring your fur baby for love and attention! Thank you both for a wonderful experience for our little bit!

May be great for a lap dog or for day camp only, but not a good fit for us. I recommend you visit the facility in advance to make sure it is a good fit for you and your pet before making boarding arrangements. That's a good general practice anyway, but I neglected to do so this time. We were looking for a kennel nearer home and booked boarding for a holiday weekend, sight unseen, based on the positive reviews here. However, upon visiting I was uncomfortable leaving my elderly medium sized dog here.
We cancelled our reservation and will instead board him at his usual kennel in my hometown. When we have kenneled my dog elsewhere it has always been in a facility with dog runs where he has several feet of walking space to move around, which is great for his arthritic hips, and then a few outdoor potty breaks in addition. It never occurred to me to ask about the dog quarters because I have never seen anything different, and the villas in the online pictures looked large enough.
I was also impressed that they take the dogs outside so frequently. However, the reality is that the villas are much smaller than they appear online and only about hip height. Dogs not staying in a villa are boarded in cages stacked 3 high with no solid wall/barrier between them, which is not pictured on the website (the young woman at the desk defended it, saying the crates were the same size as the villas, but if they can stack them 3 high then you can guess how big the villas are).
They might have been ok for a little dog for a short stay, but no way for a medium for 4 days. So yes, they are getting lots of outdoor breaks but in the same way that we take breaks during a long car ride -- you need it in order to stretch out. I was uncomfortable with the idea of kennel staff having to pick up my dog multiple times a day to lift him in/out of the crate.
They were not willing to guarantee a floor-level crate that my dog could just walk in and out of. I was also told on the phone that dogs were separated by size and my dog would only play with dogs his size or smaller, but upon arrival I was told that he either had to stay in the little cage and play with little dogs or go to the back with the big dogs (up to 3x his size). That is a non-choice to me. We will continue looking for a local kennel that offers dog runs and accommodations better suited for our furry old man.

Not sure what happened to this place TBH. I just changed my review from 5 stars to 1. Entirely new staff. I mean ENTIRELY new staff and no one seems sympathetic to larger dogs. Took our Woofie there for grooming. Had been a minute since we had been there due to some prior issues with being overcharged 2x for the last grooming ($88 for shampoo. Not the bath but just the shampoo!).
The credit never came through. Anyway. After giving some time between then and now we decided to try it again. He loved this place. Truly. And we spent literally thousands of dollars here boarding 2 dogs and grooming 2 dogs. Never again. Drop him off for a grooming and they can't get him in the tub.? Ummm he LOvES bath time. Not sure if they were trying to drag him into the bath or what but he was seriously stressed when we picked him up hours later without the bath.
Of course there was no charge ( why should there be?) and a lot of excuses as to why they could not groom him. I know my dog. He is well behaved unless you are a jerk with him and then he will refuse. Treat him poorly and he will return in kind. I don't know, nor do I care, if the new people there were intimidated by his size. If so, they need to work on that or limit the breeds to those they favor.
He was always a favorite there. And we used to feel 100%secure with him stating there. Now, as my partner said, he would not take a rabid armadillo there. While it is much cleaner and smells nice, the care they give my dogs is paramount and now it is severely lacking. Not sure what happened or why but I am immensely glad I found Rover and someone to house sit him and much less cost.
Please don't stress your doggo out by trusting them to people who make excuses as to why they cannot care for your large breed. If you are intimidated then maybe you should just not service them. Disappointed is an understatement

Teddy (12lb. petite Goldendoodle) visits about twice a week for doggy daycare. He was scared at first ( he was just a pup, and it was his first real social experience), but they watched him carefully to make sure he was feeling safe. They even reported that they brought him up front a little to give him some TLC. He's been going a couple months now and has made a few friends.
Whenever I go pick him up they tell me about his day which makes me feel like they're taking note, and the fact that they've been able to identify which dogs are his friends let's me know they're paying attention to my baby . I also like that they have a little room for the small dogs to play in so they can play with one another without the big dogs intimidating them. And I appreciate their hours as well. They're always super nice, and everyone knows Teddy's name and snuggles him up when he arrives. I've been very happy with them.

I am so happy that we found Little Paws. We take our Italian Greyhounds here for daycare and boarding. The pricing is very fair, and the staff treats our babies like they are their own. Recently, we had to put our 16 year old furbaby down and brought the other two pups to daycare so we could have a day to focus on our poor little girl. When we returned to pick up the other two from daycare, they told us that the day was free. They are very caring and generous people and would highly recommend them!

My experience and my dachshund terrier mix dog's experience at Little Paws have been great! The staff knows him when I bring him in for Daycare and Boarding him there has been great. He always looks beautiful after his bath and smells so good. Thank you Little Paws for making my dog's life even better!
