Cascade Animal Connection was founded in 1996 by owner and Certified Tellington TTouch Instructor, Kathy Cascade. Kathy employs positive, force-free training methods based on motivational techniques, clear communication, and respect for our animal companions. With the goal of making training fun and successful for both animals and humans alike, Kathy is known for her creative and engaging teaching style. She has taught workshops and seminars throughout the US, Canada, and Europe for the past 18 years, and offers private training sessions in the Central Oregon region.

Kathy's introduction to dog training began in 1991 when a slightly wild and wonderful Alaskan Malamute puppy came into her life. Kathy and Spirit's partnership lead them to the obedience ring, participation in flyball, and as a visiting Therapy Dog/Handler team in hospitals and nursing homes. Searching for a truly respectful and gentle approach to working with animals, Kathy and Spirit attended their first Tellington TTouch workshop in 1994.
There are no live events scheduled for 2022 at this time. However, I have several online courses available. If you are interested in learning the Tellington TTouch for Dogs Method, there is now an online option which includes both on demand courses and live, interactive courses via Zoom. These courses will also count towards Certification as a Tellington TTouch Practitioner.
