The mission of the doctors and staff of Tupelo Small Animal Hospital, P.A. is to offer the most advanced and complete veterinary medical care possible to the animals of our community as though they were our own pets. The doctors and staff aim to fulfill this goal by working together as a team, furthering our knowledge by constantly pursuing continuing education and by consulting other professionals. We encourage constructive criticism from our clients and staff in order to improve our services and quality of medicine.
An important step in maintaining the health and happiness of your pet is to schedule an appointment with a qualified veterinarian. Our scheduling coordinator will contact you to confirm your appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome, but you may have to wait depending on current volume. Dr. King no longer sees patient on his designated Saturday morning, so call ahead to make sure a veterinarian is available if coming on that day. We appreciate your understanding. Please contact our office by telephone if sending highly confidential or private information.

Wow, I don't know where to begin. My precious dog Bonita was about 14 years and begin to cough and pant. Dr. King did a workup and found she had a murmur and CHF. He gave medicine with efforts to treat it. Not cure it as it could not be cured. He called in a few days to check on her. So sweet and we upped the medicine as she was worse.

Wanted to say thanks for taking care of Gus. I live in Oklahoma, and had my dogs boarded for the first time since Covid hit, so I could fly to Chicago for a week. The following Wednesday, we had to travel to Tupelo for work. I noticed a yellow discharge coming from Gus's nose while driving to Tupelo. I scheduled a vet visit the next morning after doing a Google search. Somehow, I showed up at the wrong vet.whoops. Tupelo Small Animal Hospital. So thankful, that they were able to get him in, even though I didn't have an appointment. I appreciate the help, and he is doing awesome! Thank you again!

This is people that actually still care about the animal instead of just the money. I had taken two of my dogs to the tupelo humane society to get spayed. Had to take one of them back a few days later because her incision opened up, their vet wasnt there that week and they had no staples to close it. I called this place and explained my situation but that i couldnt pay them much that day because I was on disability and had just spent what i had paying to get both my dogs spayed a few days before.
They told me in the spirit of Christmas to bring her in and they would close her wound without charging me! I cried because I had no money to pay another vet to close it and was afraid it was going to get infected or i would have to try to close it myself. Thank you guys so very much!

Evacuated for Ida to Tupelo, Ms from New Orleans. Called the office and asked if they could board our 2 labs for a few days until we could go back. Had room on short notice. A couple of days later we were able to go home. We picked them up on a Wednesday. 2 weeks later they started scratching furiously. Took them to our vet, they had flea bites all over them. One of my dogs had a reaction to the bites. Cost me $157 at my vet for steroids and antibiotics and now I have them in my house.

We were traveling and our dog needed a vet. I called them (on a Saturday) and they made time to help us. The Dr was outstanding! He took time to examine my dog and explain things. I can't say enough positive things about our entire experience. If I lived in Tupelo this would be our new pet care provider.
