KT animal supply started out in 1993 at our previous location south of the Amvets here in Bismarck, ND. We've since grown and had to move to our current location at 1606 East Main Avenue also in Bismarck. We carry all the top brands of pet food, as well as just about anything you can think of for your pet. If we don't have it in the store, contact us and we can special order many other items, for no additional fee.
You will find a wide assortment of fish tank ornaments and gravel, as well as live and plastic plants. We have a large variety of both fresh and salt water filters, heaters and fish tanks, complete with covers, light bulbs and stands. You will find a fun, clean, friendly atmosphere for all of your freshwater fish supply needs!
We have many different products to choose from including a wide variety of cat toys and climbing posts, as well as accessories, such as collars and personalized engraved tags. We also carry cat different brands of cat litter and litter boxes. We also have vaccines for cats on hand. All the foods with an asterisk listed above have a frequent buyer program i.e.

I love KT Animal Supply and so do my cats! Smokey and Simon like to eat food that is tasty and also healthy - not filled with artificial #$@&. I know that I will always find a unique toy or special treat for my beloved cats. Owner Yvonne took the time to help me select treats and food for my picky eater. Dakota was also friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this store because the selection is amazing and so are the prices. I am a fan for life!

Oh man, the young lady on the floor was so helpful! After just having to put our 14 year old pit down at the vet next door, shopping stuff for our other dog was going to be stressful. This wonderful young lady with her professionalism and friendliness turned it into a wonderful experience. We will be back.

Very fun place lots to shop for all around very inviting feeling. Low prices i loved that. Got some treats some fishes and foods and some treatment. And had a 4 hrs drive in he very heated Temps just so hot. But my fish was fine all if them they packets very well in the bags then this Styrofoam cooler. Honestly it was very close around 6 to 61/2 hoi a before we actually got them into the tank. I had few angle babies but 5 bottom feeders and their all still going going fat and happy

I'm a beginner saltwater fish keeper. I started 3 months ago. Got my first three fish from Ocean's Paradise 3 months ago. No problems with the fish or anything. So 2 weeks ago we check out KT, there are only 3 places in town that have salt water fish. I should have known, the salt water tanks were nasty. My wife was along and seen a Royal Gramma fish, purple and yellow, very pretty but tank was a mess.
My wife wanted to get the fish out of the bad environment, I said ok against my better judgement. Talked to fish keeper, I told her i don't have a quarantine tank yet and she assured me it was healthy. A week later in my display tank I notice the KT fish starting to get white spots on it. Sure enough the fish has ICH. I have it with fish that cost me over 200$ now in danger of ruining their beautiful appearance. Wrote KT on facebook complaining about the whole situation, not even a sorry.
Message was read and no response. So had to buy a new quarantine tank, have to catch all my fish and a fire shrimp, put in 20g and medicate them for weeks. All because KT sells diseased fish. Don't buy from them, by appearance of tanks they don't care about the fish, and by not responding to complaint they don't seem to care about customers either after they have your money. A Lot of time and money will be wasted due to their poor fish keeping skills. Not happy customer.

My vet recommended this store: I was VERY impressed with how nice, helpful and knowledgeable they are. You just don't find very good customer service many places anymore! Plus they keep a customer card on file for you (so you don't have to remember to bring it in), and you get a free bag of dog food after 10 - EXTREMELY nice since we have a larger dog lol
