Our program includes complete basic obedience (heel, sit, down, stay, and come), behavior modification (manners 101, socialization and structure) along with SouthPaw Training's training book. SouthPaw Training has a completely illustrated book that has been rewritten for you to be able to train your own dog. We are very proud of it and are expecting it to be for sale in possibly July.
We are hoping that this will help everyone in their needs to work with their own dog at a cost effective price. SouthPaw Training is looking to have online class in the near future that will work with guiding you through our book.

Remember, it is never too late to start an education for your dog or puppy. Certified Master Trainer Barbara Day is a graduate of National K-9 School of Dog Trainers and has trained and studied with many of the top trainers and methods. Your dog's educational development is as vitally important as it is to your child.
SouthPaw Training offers a variety of training programs: group max. 5) and private (one-on-one). All of our basic programs give you the necessary training to accomplish the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing, as long as your dog's temperament is good and he / she is 1 year or older. In our Basic program if your puppy is under 1 year, if you complete the program and graduate, your puppy will be eligible for the Star Puppy Award (AKC). The Star Puppy and CGC awards can not be given to dogs that show aggression.
SouthPaw Training has a multi-level training program. If you want more than just the basic obedience and want to go further in training your dog to off-leash control, we have the ability to take you to that level. We have intermediate and advanced levels of training, to work on the issues of training for off-leash.
SouthPaw Training is opening up a new way for dogs and owners to enjoy having fun with obedience. Heelwork to Music is taking obedience and freestyle step and applying them to a format, using music to motivate the dogs. SouthPaw Training found in 2009 when we designed the first synchronized rally courses and a snaking course and then applied them to music.
