Went there few weeks ago to buy some refrigerated dog food. I usually go either here petsmart or target. I'll be honest when I tell you there have been I guess some supply chain issues with the food and the stores aren't stocked with it all the time. Didn't feel like going far in case the places didn't have it. Came to this place as it's much closer for me.

They did indeed have it in stock. Grabbed my usual 2 and went to register. What's usually 40 bucks (20 each) came to 80 bucks. I told the cashier there must be a mistake. She said oh no there's no mistake. We raised the prices because it's been hard to get recently. I paid the money n vowed to never ever walk in this place again. Thanks for price gouging me you bunch of scumbags. Anyways. Went to target the next day grabbed another 2 rolls paid 40 bucks and learned a lesson about who owns n runs this joke store. I would rather this place not had in stock than to be robbed buying an essential for my pets needs. So rude and disgusting. Will never ever be back

I love it here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've never a bad experience there. Prices are affordable.

Animals stuffed in tiny tanks, rats had no food nor water, same with mice, bunnies water had rust in it, large house cats were stuffed into tiny crates. please get these animals a home it's absolutely heartbreaking, or don't buy from here.

I like this spot. Certain items can be a little over priced but not all. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable from Aquariums to dogs, cats and rabbits.

The place is spotless very clean the people there are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help you prices are right the people are right the place is great

Love this place, been coming here for decades! Great prices and great selection! Yeah, I know I could get stuff delivered via the Internet, but nothing could ever replace a business like this.

One of the employees was a little disrespectful. I arrived by the counter and I asked a simple question to the disrespectful employee who was walking around, (because I wasn't sure if he worked there or what not). The nail clipper man said on the phone "I am now leaving my shift for the day, I will be there all day tomorrow, " (which is today).

So I said "ok no problem, see you tomorrow then". Tomorrow comes, and the same disrespectful man I described above looked like he was trying to run me out the store, and said to me "the nail clipper man went out to do deliveries, he will be back in an hour" (but the nail clipper man told me he'll be here all day and I basically bought my Guinea pig out here for no reason.) All the sudden they want to charge me just to have my guinea pig's nails cut.

So I just rolled my eyes, shook my head and left the store. I've been going to them for nearly 4 years and I've never been charged. Apparently it's because my guinea pig wasn't adopted from there or something like that. Every single time I've been there, the staff said I was good to go. P.S. they need better organization in the Guinea pig nail clipper room, it's sad.

I'm really happy to say this store is the best! They have shelves full of products, knowledge staff, and the best prices. I'm pretty confident their prices beat Chewy and Amazon! Looking forward to coming back! Thank you guys!

Mutts and Butts is a small local store but they are very competitive with their pricing. They beat the online stores at their own game. It's not all about the prices. They are convenient and have a friendly knowledgeable staff. Amazon has become expensive so do your homework.

Best pet store! I've been shopping here since 1970 when we got our first dog. Knowledgeable staff, food is FRESH and properly stored, wide variety of products and they will special order any items you want. They also have a huge fish department. Prices are very competitive with online merchants who don't care anything about your pets. Buy local or pretty soon, there won't be ANY local places to buy!

Huge selection of dog food. We have been feeding our dogs Fromm and needed to special order it from either the internet or other pet stores. Sometimes it would take a week or two to get it. Now we just walk in and grab what we need! They also have a great selection of all pet care products. Highly recommend

I just got my first dog ever. I walked in and told an employee, Lauren, as much. Lauren spent quite some time explaining about leashes, collars and harnesses and outfitted me with everything I needed. Lauren's level of patience with me did not go unnoticed. Lauren's simple act of spending time and kindly sharing her know how with me has now made me a customer of Mutts and Butts for life. Thank you Lauren! Milo looks great!

This place is okay. The doggie toys are a little overpriced but i guess thats how they compete with the big chain stores. They have the food I need for my pup, and he loves to go out so he comes with me. More helpful and happier workers could easily set you apart from other pet stores but you lack in that. I always say it takes less energy to be nice, so be nice. Seems like a morale issue here, the owners should look into what they are doing wrong for their employees and fix it, because your front line employees are the face of your business [but you know whats best for you] i'll give them another shot, maybe everyone had a bad couple of days.

I love this store! i got my guinea pig named "SHRIMP" from here. Now h is two years old and h is well behaved

I've been here before looking especially at the guinea pigs and rabbits. I excused the look because there was someone currently cleaning and I know they're hard to keep up with. But the last time I went it was very disgusting. You could tell they do not take care of their animals. There was no hay or food in any of the animals bowls and there was no chew toys(which are imperative for health).

The guinea pigs were also making such loud sounds like they were in such need of something. These were terrible conditions and they need to be educated and more determined to properly care for animals.

Great pet store, great variety, nice workers who are very helpful. They have all types of animals, food and toys for our beloved pets. Normally I go in for live worms for my turtles and the staff is very quick and the prices are pretty good. Never had any issues and I really like this store. Great job guys.

Love this place and so do my two dogs! They know the second we walk in here, they are leaving with so many treats. I only come here for the treats because their selection is incredible. There are so many options and they have treats you can't find anywhere else. They're a little out of the way for me, but well worth the trip. We stock up big time whenever we're here and you can't beat the prices!

Just bought my daughter a goldfish and had the pleasure of being helped by Nick. He was such a big help and so knowledgable on fish and made the selection for my daughter that much easier. He made my daughters face light up like the sun just by including her in on every step of the process. I didnt get the name of the cashier but he was sweet enough to ask me if i needed help carrying out the bags to the car since I had my daughter and my son in a car seat. Ill definitely be back in the near future. I appreciate the sincerity.

I buy all my pet supplies here. They are fairly priced and offer a good selection. The owner is very knowledgeable and will take time to help with any questions ranging from food allergies to pet behavior. The staff is always very nice. My kids love coming to just visit the cat adoption area. Great local pet store!

The lady at the register called someone because she didn't know the price of a small chihuahua t shirt. Ended up charging me 30 for it, looked online and realized girl was being racist because I'm Spanish. She Over charged me item was supposed to be $19 not $30. But I needed it as a last minute gift. But I know better now. Would never go there again.

I live around the corner from Mutts and Butts and find they have everything I need for my cats. Yes there are the "other" corporate stores in the area but this place does it right. I like the fact they are a small business and have stayed true to their roots.

Great to support a local business who takes such interest in our furry friends. Brought home a new puppy this week. They immediately offered to order and have on regular stock a rather hard to find pet food.

Been shopping here for nearly 30 years, so that says a lot. I find the prices competitive with the big chain pet stores and even Walmart. There's always someone available if you need help too. The proprietor even called his distributor, while I was shopping, to get something my cat needed. That's the kind of customer service that keeps customers.

The customer service here is excellent. I really like their choices of cat litter and dry foods. Always willing to help me carry the heavy bags right out to the car. I'm glad they are local and always open!

Went in looking for a Beta Fish. No luck. BUT they had the cutest kitty there up for adoption. Too bad i am not allowed to have pets.

They have the BEST food and toy selection. I don't care WHAT you think. hahaha Pet stores are one of my favorite places to waste time. Small guys like this are being pushed out by the shiny, new, high rent big guys and that is why I won't patronize them. They are helpful and their selection is constantly updated. The animals on hand are well maintained and nary an odor to be found. They have everything you could want and more.
