So after parking in the parking lot across from the actual facility, I noticed that there was a little pony that kids were petting over by the camel rides. So I stopped and pet the little pony that was eating grass. However, when I tried to feed the little pony some of the grass that it was already eating, some very rude lady came running over and yelling at me like I was her child.
I would like to point out that obviously I am older than her so that's not even possible and then also, in a lot of instances, obviously the odds are that people don't want you feeding the animals, however there was no sign saying that and anywhere and also there is a proper and an improper way to address other paying customers in that situation. This was very inappropriate and I even gave the woman time to correct her behavior but she flatly refused to.
She was helping with the camel ride people or it was her business. I told her I understand and gave her time to change but she decided herself not to. After that exceptionally embarrassing incident in front of a lot of people me and my family just left and this place lost a family group and their relatives business for the day. Later in front of my in-laws my small daughter asked "Daddy why did that woman talk to you like you were being bad when you told me to not be like that." I don't care if they are a small local business and need support like someone else said, you don't treat people like that.

Fantastic place for all ages! Are at Magnolia.very clean establishment with super nice people! Food was all delicious.items in bakery affordable and tasty.cute stop when leaving! Stopped at the petting area for $5 each and $1 bags of hay for animal feed. We had a lot of fun and the animals are well cared for. Make sure you stop at the thrift store/dog adoption building for unique gifts reasonably priced and cute puppies! We will be back soon!

10/10 we had a blast! Lots of clean and healthy animals to feed and give all the pets to. Highly recommend! Make sure to buy lots of hay because feeding them is sooo fun and relaxing. They have all types of farm animals, rescues and birds. Great for kids and adults a like. Also, don't forget to hit the Cafe for some food and play mini golf.

Goats, horses, chickens, parrots, lizards, cats, lambs, cows. My kids were excited. A small merry-go-round and the prices are just so reasonable. You can have a ponny or a camel ride. The parking lot is right next to the farm. Restrooms available. A small playground for the kids. Nice people work there, thank you.

It is a tiny animal farm with animals which have been in some way mistreated. I do like to go there. There is a train for children as well as carousel. Many parents come there. The entrance is about $5, you can buy hay as well to feed animals. Bathrooms are walking distance from the entrance or porty pady on premises. I wish people would donate more so they could do some renovations to make it even better experience

Such a fun place for all ages. We have visited so many times before and loved it each time. All the workers are kind and helpful too. Great thrift shop, yummy snack booth, sweet bakery, and animal adoption store. Have never been able to try out the restaurant but will be doing that my next visit! Tons of events always going on such as puppy or animal yoga. Such a great spot for families.

I am in shock that Lambs is using the pandemic to price gouge and not offer season passes. Pre Covid it was $50 a family season pass now it is $5each. Every time I go it is $19. There is no reason to not offer a season pass, but they are making a fortune off the pandemic. As a single mom on disability I find this disgusting. We have lost enough money through all this and not being allowed our pass for NO REASON IS JUST SO WRONG

We just went the other day with my 2 & 4 yr old and it wasn't busy at all! Reservations online is preferred as they only take 50 people at a time. Since there were only 4 other people, it wasn't a problem. Lots of animals and cute to walk around and feed the animals hay. We chose not to do the mini golf course. They have a mini hand washing station too which I liked, right before exiting.

I had a great time visiting Lambs Farm! As an animal lover, it was amazing to see the variety of animals they have at the Farm. My favorite is Joe the Camel lol! The animals were having a great time, and the employees were very nice and knowledgeable about the animals! I loved how they updated the Farm in light of Covid-19. They made sure to keep things extra clean and safe!
I loved their signs reminding people to social distance (stay one cow apart lol). The staff also reminded people to keep their masks on and were very polite about it. The cafe had great food. I'll definitely be back soon!

I've been to Lamb's Farm many, many times, both as a child and as a parent. I absolutely love this place! My kids can pretty much spend all day there. I know there are some complaints on here regarding the age of the equipment. Personally, I think it's amazing to have grown up with this stuff and to have my children experience the same things I did when I was their age.
I have never felt that my children (or I) were in danger of the equipment breaking or of them being a safety hazard. Honestly, I have more faith in some of the older features than the way some things are built today. I highly recommend Lamb's Farm and can't wait for spring and summer so I can take my little gals back again!

This is one of the best children's zoo in the area! The keepers here are incredibly knowledgeable, and they are happy to tell you about any animal. They truly treat each one like an individual, even down to knowing the names of each quail! While most of the animals are elderly or disabled in some way, that doesn't seem to bother any of them. You can definitely tell that they're all happy, especially after hearing their backgrounds.

I gave three stars because I experienced everything I was expecting in visiting a farm. My nephews loved it. The mini golf area was a nice touch. However, I noticed a couple animals had abrasions or were injured. One llama had an open wound on his neck and another horse had an injured hoof; his leg was red and it was apparent that he was uncomfortable. My only complaint is that they should pay closer attention to their animals' health. It made me feel uneasy that they were not being attended to.

Amazing place, thank you for building something so great for kids and families, but also for the work you do for the community. Really well run and for a non-profit, its excellent. Feels great being able to support you and prices are very reasonable. There is lots do here, and places to sit and eat and the candy store is amazing and so much better prices on candy than if you went another store. great job. thanks.

A fun place for families to go see farm animals, pet and feed them. I like taking my son here. He enjoyed checking out the various farm animals, feeding them hay and petting them. On this visit, he had a ball with the exception of getting scared of the wooden statue of the lumberjack man and something else. I look forward to our next visit in Spring or Summer of 2019.

Not impressed with this place at all. I will say the concept is great and they are right off the highway but everything else is awful. First off the place is filthy which you would expect a farm to be dirty but this is beyond. Also it's so run down. Everything has holes in it and the carousel looks like it's about to break down any moment, oh wait come to think of it. it was!
We came on a hot day which made the experience worse but seeing all those animals suffering in the heat was heart breaking. The staff avoids interacting with you and just sits and stares at you. There was a cat inside the little indoor space and the staff said nothing about him being friendly or not. My daughter was petting him and he tried to bite her luckily I was right next to her to stop that from happening.
Overall I would not come again after seeing all those animals in dire need of shade and water. And not to mention when the carousel is working they charge 20 dollars to get into this place. Maybe if they took pride in this place and fixed it up they could charge that price.

Loved it. My only complaint is that the parking isn't marked to well I was confused where to go on such a large lot of land. I felt what we paid for was a fair price. We loved the petting zoo and walking around exploring. The train was fun, a few of the statue animals along the path were in rough shape and the landscaping along the tracks could be more up kept. Love the work they do and the cause they stand for.

My 4 year old and I were here for 3 hours. We could have stayed longer! The animals are so sweet, we both could not get enough! You can buy a bag of hay for $1 and the goats and horses love it! The place is a bit run down but it has been here for a long time, it's expected. But should be updated cleaned. The price is right for what you get. My son went on the carousel 3 times and we went on the train. We could have mini golfed, too but wanted to play with the animals instead : We will definitely be back soon!

I had not been here in over two decades, but am glad I brought my four-year-old on last week's visit to Chicago. He had a great time. It's inexpensive and kids can feed animals ($1 for a bag of hay), ride ponies ($5) and we even saw a camel. A great 1-2 hour experience for kids while also supporting an important cause.

Kids and I had a awesome time, we fed some of the animals. My son got to brush the sheep and goats, and jump in the bouncy house. I wish they would've told me before hand that if you buy the wrist band you can get unlimited attractions. Instead I paid 2 bucks for one turn on the carousel and 4bucks for two turns in the jumpy house, when the wrist band is 8 bucks for unlimited turns at every attraction. If your looking for somewhere fun to take the kiddos this is a cute farm, with very friendly staff.

I love this place! Their mission is to help people with developmental disabilities lead productive and happy lives - they offer residential and vocational services as well as employment opportunities. I love coming here to check out their animals as well as shop at their thrift stores of all their goods. There are puppies, horses, Pygmy goats, sheep, ducks, pigs, and cows.
