I have been taking my dogs to rub a dub for a couple years now, I have always paid the same price. Winter, spring, summer or fall. Picked up my dog yesterday, charged 15 bucks more than ever before. My dog doesnt even get a hair cut, just de shedding and a bath. It is alot of of work I know, but her answer was " it depends on her coat at the time". Idk about shelling out 80 bucks for an hours work. Then tip on top of that. She was just there 2 months prior. Well, I guess its time to look elsewhere.

Took our 2 white Schnoodles here few months back as our usual place was booked. They were very nice when we dropped them off however when we picked them up I found they were very expensive & the one woman told me my one girl had a flea!? Ummm no sorry my girls don't have fleas & if there was something on her, she got it from your place! The ride home our girls were jumpy & seemed a little scared. Will NOT be taking them back there.

So i called ahead because i have a mini poodle and i wanted to trim her in a few spots. So i spoke to the lady who called and said id like to trim her do you have a grooming table and can i trim her there. The lady said hold on a minute asked me if i had my own equipment i said yes she then told me that would be fine. So on a Sunday i drive all the way to the place when i get there i was informed that i could not groom my dog. This was a very frustrating experience I would of at least expected a call or something before i drove all the way to the store.

Awful. Rude. Overpriced. My dog was treated like crap. His nails were barely cut. He was wet when I picked him up. There was some old lady trying to manage him and he's a heavy strong boy. She seemed scared of my dog too. Which really pissed me off because he's a sweet baby and why the heck is she working there to begin with?! I mean absolutely ridiculous! It made no sense. Also they told my brother they won't groom his dog anymore because he's older. What a joke. Take your business anywhere but here!

I had both of my dogs groomed here a few days ago. Just baths and nails, plus a little trimming. I would say it was mediocre. Their nails weren't very smooth despite buffing, and the tail of one was trimmed without me asking - I didn't want that done. Also, the standard shampoo used doesn't smell very good. Smells like wet dog - even though they're not wet. Not a bad job, just no reason for me to go back.

I brought my medium sized dog into Rub A Dub Dog Wash for a self serve wash. The employees were friendly and asked what we needed when we walked in the doors, however they didn't ask for my pets name, they did not show any interest in my pet, which was strange since it is a pet friendly business. After I paid, they wrote down my name and address on a sheet of paper.
They also handed me a business card and a magnet. which was nice as well, but I would have liked more of a conversation. I felt as if i was intruding on their space by washing my dog in their self serve station. The employees were just talking among themselves while washing and cutting other dogs. They only showed remote interest in me while i had my credit card in my hand.
They also had what appeared to be hundreds of dog related objects for sale, I wasn't sure if it was a dog wash or a pet store. I had to walk in a little further before I realized that it was in fact a dog wash. Every single self serve dog wash I've been too at least offered my pet a treat or a pet on the head, but not rub a dub dog wash. I'm sure if i had a cute little 14 pound dog the employees would have paid much more attention to me.

When I called to get information I specifically asked I the caged and was told no the keep them leashed in the area. I made appointment and brought her in. My first impression was dingy. The first women I dealt with was very nice and helpful. I asked to be called 15-20 mins before she was ready to allow for travel. They called when she was done not ahead.
When I got there she was in a cage. Exactly what they said they would not do. When I complained the other women takes her out of the cage and dragged her the last 3 feet. Unreal. As for the cut very uneven. For the same price you can go anywhere else and that is what I would recommend.

I loved the people who ran this! brought my pom in for a cut and wash, and boy he went from looking like a mop to looking like a million bucks! they were able to get me in the day I called, which was fabulous! They only thing is they were pretty expensive. After tip it cost me $70.00. Definitely worth it though!
