Spicewood Flats Boarding

Our sweet Allie "vacationed" at Spicewood for 12 years. She considered Gina her grandma, and Gina's little dog Betty was her best friend. Brenda and the other staff are superb! The dignity, care and humaneness with which Gina treats her boarders serves as magnificent tutorial for how any nursing home should treat theirs. I wish I could give ten stars. and the moon!

I love Spicewood Kennels! They generally breed and train mastiffs, a large and strong type of dog. So they really know their stuff when it comes to gently but firmly handling dogs! I saw a small part of a training session one time from the side and was really impressed. They have extra space to board other people's dogs and do so for a very reasonable price.

My dog is always calm and happy when I come back to get her. She's not all stressed out or hoarse from over-barking like she gets at other places. I'd swear they even brush her although I've never paid for a bath; her coat is usually very healthy looking after a stayover. They provide all of the food and bedding in their low cost, as well as any administering of medications.

For only $2 a day they'll take her outside and play with her, so for exercise you could pick once every other day or something. They are low stress on the dog and low stress on the human. Thank you so much, Spicewood Kennels!
