Puppy Love is open to tours, this is always a good sign! This was the first time boarding our German Shepherd. He is very anxious and reactive with other dogs that get in his space. We were assured the kennel's policy is to keep dogs, from different families, separated at all times. The staff were happy to confirm with us that that they stick to this policy 100%.

Our experience was really great with all staff.very friendly and kind. The grounds and kennels were very clean and the kennel sizes for large dogs is good. Our boy came home home happy and not stressed at all. The staff, in particular Brooke, Conner, Racheal & Emily clearly show love for their work and support the 'no dog to dog' contact rules. We have rebooked with them, highly recommended. Thank You Puppy Love for putting our minds at ease.

I took my dogs here for the last time. Seems like they have two new groomers who are inexperienced. It wasnt the same older lady ive dropped them off with before. I walked in and all they said were my dogs were bad and wouldn't listen and they had to scissor cut them. They looked horrible, I have professional clippers and I can do a better job, I just don't have the time!

No groomer in this city nor in Ontario have ever said my dogs were bad, they all made excuses and I got my babies out of there. I've asked every groomer who has worked on them how they were and if they were good and I've never received a complaint. I wouldn't leave them there again. Not to mention their prices went up for sub-standard scissor cuts.

I have used Puppy Love Kennels for years for our infrequent need of care for our dogs and cats. They are amazing. Every employee I have met there seem to really like animals, a trait that is not always apparent at other facilities. We have had several dogs over the years, and PuppyLove is the best place by far for their overnight care.

It was our first time boarding our one year old retriever and we couldn't be happier. The staff were professional, helpful, and responsive to all my questions, and gave me email updates during our dog's two week stay. I would definitely recommend boarding your dog with Puppy Love.

Our 12-month old Malamute Coco died while being boarded at this kennel. She was with her 15-month old best buddy Marcel when his jaw became tangled in her collar, strangling her and injuring him. Their collars should have been removed when they were unsupervised. There were conflicting accounts of the incident, including how long they were left unsupervised.

No video or written documentation regarding their supervision schedule was provided to us. We were also not informed that our 75 and 80 pound dogs were housed in a medium sized kennel as the large dog kennel building was closed and that the kennel was running on a reduced staff due to Covid-19.

Critical: Quality I took my long-hair Persian here for a groom. It was during COVID when many groomers had been closed for months so he was a bit matted. I know it would be hard to brush it out so I asked for a shave. It was so poorly executed (see photos). He looked so ridiculous and was in poor spirits for weeks following his groom.

Teddy approved! I've been bringing my two dogs to Puppy Love for 5+ years and both myself and my dogs have had a positive experience every time. The kennels themselves are clean, decently sized, and have both indoor and outdoor areas. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and comfortable handling all different dog temperaments. One of my dogs is male reactive, and had a great introductory experience with one of the male kennel employees. My dogs have always come home tired and happy.

I've been boarding my dog at Puppy Love for over 4 years and have always been pleased with the level of care, attentiveness and friendly service of the staff. Daisy Mo always comes home tired and well-groomed. And the staff are sure to let me know that they enjoy having her there which I appreciate. I'm grateful to have a kennel I can trust and rely upon when I travel, and to know that my dog is safe and well-cared for. The location is also incredibly convenient.

We have used them multi times and each time our dogs rush to go in and when we pick them up they are happy and excited. They are always treated very well, any bedding is washed and dried for your pick up. The staff there is amazing! As far as one poster said about the pictures, don't judge them by the pictures. Go there and see how wonderful the place is in person. It is very clean and great for the animals.

Personnel are great, knowledgeable and friendly, but the facility is not for every dog. We had our dog stay there for a weekend to test out how she would do for the two weeks that we will be out of town this summer. We picked her up and noticed she broke off one of her bottom canines and we are now expecting a few thousand dollar bill to fix it. Nobody mentioned anything about her tooth so I guess they didn't even notice.

If we hadn't tested the kennel for the weekend, we probably would have come back to a toothless dog. We thought she'd be OK because on the website it says that "Personnel are on premises 24 hours a day / 7 days a week", but apparently it's just the owners, so I guess the dogs are unsupervised from 6PM to 9AM. Our dog has been previously boarded in two other kennels with a similar setting to puppy love and we never had any issues.

We think puppy love is more stressful than the other two kennels where we have had our pup go before. Drop off and pick up were OK, but inside the kennel it was pretty loud and stressful. If your dog has any sort of anxiety, or fearfulness, this kennel might not be for you. We have spoken with someone from the kennel and they have apologized, but we still thought it's important to share our experience so other people can weigh their options with their pets.
