We opened Paws & Claws Finishing Touch cat and dog grooming salon in Portage over fourteen years ago. In that time, it has become known as Portage's premier pet salon. Because of the success of the first location and the demand from our clients, our Battle Creek pet grooming salon was opened over four years ago and goes by the slogan, "New to the area, not the industry."
We are excited to also have added a doggy daycare in Battle Creek! We love being a locally owned, small business in Southwest Michigan and are proud to participate in SPCA Humane Society and American Cancer Society events in our community.

Appointment was at 1:00, didn't start on my pet until 2:10, then the lady chopped my pet all up and didn't try because "she wanted to go home". Won't be returning, now I have to take my pet to a different groomer to get them fixed up. Paid $75 for a half job. My pet was shaking and in pain. Not to mention, I'm getting told repeatedly how "horrible my pet is." All because he was scared and wouldn't stand up.

5 stars isn't enough for these ladies. My cat is not easy, he's a giant Persian floof, he's a little cranky, and he's old and sensitive. I was stressing about keeping him hygienic and happy because grooming him myself was becoming more difficult. But they took such good care of my little dude, he's so happy and clean and they were so gentle. Great prices, great service, I considered sending a bouquet of flowers I was so grateful. Thanks guys!

I cannot say enough good words regarding Paws and Claws. My husband and I are new to town and our dog was in need of grooming. The ladies there got him in right away, were professional, loving and caring towards Odin, whom suffers anxiety. Odin look so handsome and precious on his breed with the grooming. His coat was ever so soft and smelled so good. I was so proud walking with such a well groomed dog, I highly recommend Paws & Claws.
