You work hard all day, right? Your dog needs a job, too. At Metropet Dog Center, their job will be running, frolicking, swimming, zooming and fetching. Great pals at a great place dedicated to dogs! Some places say they offer daycare, but at Metropet, we actually let your dog play with other dogs for hours at a time.
Playgroups are divided based on size and energy levels. We do not discriminate based on breed, we base it on deed. If your dog plays nicely with other dogs and enjoys the company of canine pals, this is the place to be!

Our facility is comprised of 5,000 sq.ft. of climate controlled indoor play space, and our three outside yards total over 10,000 sq.ft. An air circulation system keeps the air moving throughout the day, minimizing buildup of harmful airborne illnesses. All play area walls are coated with FRP (plastic) making disinfecting easy and effective.
Started at Metropet in 2008 and took over business in 2016. Susan's favorite part of the business is being able to interact with the dogs as well as learning from them daily. She also loves the relationships she has built with the customers over the past few years & having them as part of her family.

Metropet is where my dog has been going for a few months now. The staff know him and every time we arrive, he leaps from the vehicle and pulls the entire way to the door (ok, so he's not trained to not do that so I'm ok with it). Captain LOVES to go to Metropet and comes home happy, too. He's always excited to see staff in the morning as well as his dog friends.
There is play space indoors and outdoors. We receive pictures at different times and a daily report on how things went. Staff are also friendly to us at drop off and pick up. You can see how caring everyone is with all the dogs. Our vet also recommended Metropet to us, so there is additional vote of confidence!

Owner insisted on screaming across the street to tell me to move my car and then wouldnt let us lift the rope to leave. She screamed at us to jump the curb instead. The business was closed so didnt really see the issue. Maybe next time instead of causing a scene she should not be lazy and eaither a. Walk across the street and ask us to move or b. Grab a shovel and remove the snow that was blocking the sign that said we couldnt park there. Not professional at all.

We have taken our dog here many time and loved it at first. But as time went on we noticed they were taking in too many dogs at a time. We were getting negative feedback when we went to pick her up stating that she was aggressive and she needed to be put in the crate for time out. Needless to say our dog is not aggressive unless there are too many dogs jumping on her all at once.
They do not watch these dogs well enough to notice that this is the case. The last time I brought her there they told me that another dog was trying to play with my dog on the other side of the fence when they were walking her back to the play area so they put my dog in the crate for 2 hours, and then it was "nap time" so she was in the crate for another 2 hours.
I think it is ridiculous to pay to have someone crate your dog all day when you pay to have them be able to play and get their energy out. The place stinks and is not clean at all. The outside of the building even stinks. My dog would come home smelling like pee and wet dog every time she would come back. As far as boarding goes, they do not stay onsite with your dog and the dogs go into the crates at 7 and do not get let out until 7 the next morning.
They would have no way of knowing if something happened to the dogs overnight or god forbid a fire or something happened. this place is in a great location and has a lot of potential if they get some new staff, not take in as many dogs at once, have someone stay overnight for boarding, and use some cleaner once and awhile.

Bought a Groupon even before my dog's first "trial day, " since I had previously driven behind other cars who were dropping their dogs off. Whenever the blinkers went on for the car to turn into the parking lot, the dogs' tails would go wild! I figured there couldn't be a better endorsement than the dogs. I was extremely surprised and pleased with the amount of communication that the facility provides.
They give me more information about my dog's day than I had ever gotten from my children's day care! My dog always comes home exhausted and happy. Each and everyday that he goes he is excited as soon as he realizes where he is going! No better recommendation than that!

Jacoby has only done the try out day so far, but I couldn't be happier with the service at Metropet. Everyone who I have worked with has been so accommodating and helpful. I currently live in VA, but I grew up in RI/MA and visit frequently. Sam & the staff at Metropet went above and beyond to help schedule a tryout day during my current trip home.
The facility smells so clean, and the prices for daycare are extremely reasonable. Jacoby was brought out to me at the end of the day definitely tired, but not dirty or smelly. The staff does an excellent job of selecting play groups, something that isn't always easy! Overall, I highly recommend & we are so excited for our next trip to Metropet!

We take our puppy there twice a week as he loves it. Comes home and is wiped out! Which is great cause he has so much energy. The staff is very friendly! They post pictures on their website and it's great to get to see my dog as he plays. If your looking for a trustworthy place to take your dog to play while you work, I highly highly recommend Metro Pet.
