This place is awesome! Great customer service staff too! Took my dog, Barry to Pets To Go for a bath and was amazed by the treats and toys in the store. The bath is in a private room and also included soap, towels, dryer, brushes, and treats!

Do you guys still sell bunnies/rabbits? I'm looking forward to adopting one!

We have been customers here for years. The owners and staff are the nicest, most helpful people you'll ever meet. They have a good variety of top quality pet food and their local delivery option is amazingly fast and really appreciated! We expect to be loyal fans for a long time.

As all the other Yelpers mentioned, Pets To Go has amazing customer service. Shout Out to Hannah! I didn't realize that they close pretty early compared to other stores and stopped in roughly 20 minutes prior to them closing. Despite this, Hannah still greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I appreciate that she assisted me and didn't make me feel like I needed to rush or hurry out the door due to the store closing soon.

They didn't carry my cat's brand of food but told me that I can use one that is most similar to the one my cat is currently on. What I also appreciate so much about the store is how organized it was and the attentive and knowledge of products. I plan to come back soon since it's only around the corner from where I live.

Amazing customer service. We went there right at 5 today (Christmas Eve) and unfortunately they were locking up, but had seen us pull in the parking lot. They actually waited for us and allowed us to buy our dog food. This tired Mama was soo happy and beyond thankful. We had a hell of a week dealing with Covid and we were finally off quarantine and able to get out of the house, just at the last minute to buy food for our doggy! So very thankful for this local pet shop. We love supporting this small business, but we are even more thankful for the thoughtful employees.

The self-service grooming was great. This place offers everything you need to give your dog a bath and more. The shower is high so our husky cannot escape! They also offer free treats to keep your dog busy while he howls into your ear about how much he hates being there.

This is one of my go to places for pet food. I LOVE that their food selections are all healthy and natural for my fur babies. Lately, I have been ordering online and having the food delivered to my house. It's so nice and convenient!

I really appreciate that they offer this option for customers. This will for sure keep me returning back for more! On top of that, whenever I do stop by in person the staff there are super: friendly, helpful, and nice. I also enjoy seeing their cats roaming around in the stores. I love how freely they can walk around or interact with the customers.

These kitties are happy for sure! Lol. The only improvement I would like to see is for them provide more selection for small pets like guinea pigs. Sometimes when I order online or shop in person, the stock is limited. Once or twice I had to choose to shop at Petco when I would much rather support awesome small businesses like Pets To Go! Do I recommend this place? Heck yeah! They are organized, professional, and has good customer service! Love this place!

None of the food we were getting at PetSmart was agreeing with our 2 border collies' stomachs. Luckily I remembered that we went here once to grab treats, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I called them and asked what they recommended, and my dogs have been on that food ever since. All of their stuff is high quality and natural.

They have free delivery in Elk Grove too, which is awesome. I have a baby at home and couldn't run out so I ordered for delivery, and it was delivered just a few hours later! This is our go-to place now for anything dog-related.

The best place in town! This little gem has everything you need in one spot and if by chance they don't, they will get it for you. They sell the best food and treats and the owners knowledge on every product is comforting knowing its more than just a business to him. This Pet shop has friendly staff, various small animals, best pet food and supplies and always carries your purchase to your car for you!

So happy to have found this place! It is a smaller family owned pet food store with lots of special foods for our fur babies. We were ordering on Amazon because we couldn't find quality freeze dried raw for our two midgets and they have a brand from Stella and Chewy's that is awesome. We were using Nulo freeze-dried but it is so hard to find unless you order online.

They didn't have it but graciously offered to order it for us and even have it sent to our house! The attitude of the gal working the front desk and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone were above and beyond.caring and truly helpful. I love that this is a small privately run shop and not one of these big box stores. Incredible supply of quality treats and feeds. Please do yourself a favor and shop this local gem!

I really like this store! I found it online because I was looking for a specific food for my new puppy. I enjoyed browsing the store, my kids really liked the animals they had. Well as it turns out, I bought the wrong food; totally my fault. I called to see if they had the right one in stock, they advised no but would be willing to order it for me and exchange the previously purchased food.

They called me back to let me know the price, it was super competitive. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised! I bought a small bag from another store until this store's shipment arrived and when I was price checking, the other store charged $10 more for the big bag! The gentleman that owns the store helped me on both occasions, he's super nice!

He loaded the dog food in my car. And said to give them a few days notice to reorder so my pup doesn't run out of food. We also picked a new crunchy toy and more puppy pads. All reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back to support this small business.

Elk Grove is so lucky to have a quality, family-owned pet store that carries supplies for a variety of different pets. Their prices are competitive, which is so great for a small business, and they go above and beyond for their community. If they don't have something you need, they're often willing to order it for you if they can! They stock only. quality products that they stand behind, and always offer a friendly face when you stop by.

Plus free local delivery? I'm not sure how they do it, but I'm grateful! I will be a frequent shopper now that I've moved into Elk Grove. Full disclosure: I've worked with Jeremy and Angel in a number of ways through my job at the Elk Grove Animal Shelter and that's how I found my way to Pets to Go but I'm so happy I did!

The team is very friendly and super helpful at this pet store! We came in looking for my new puppy to chew on and lots of little treats to help With training. They recommended lots of great products and I bought just about all of them! Will always shop at this pet store for my dog when I'm in Elk Grove.

This is a wonderful shop for pet food and supplies, with truly great staff! We've shopped here for years and have always been very happy with our experience. Right now, during this awful coronavirus pandemic, you can call in an order and they will deliver to your home! This has been a considerable help to us, since--for various reasons--we are severely limiting our time out of the house. Every member of their staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Love this pet store! The staff is really knowledgeable not only about their products that they carry in the store but can help you find the best food and treats etc. for your special requirements. They are also very active in the community, hosting low cost vaccine clinics, and supporting local shelters and rescues. Their washing station is great for keeping the pets clean too.

Wow! I'm so glad I've discovered this place! I recently switched my 7 year old chihuahua to a raw diet in hopes to get her to eat healthier food and to lose weight. I was a little hesitant at first as I was afraid my dog could get sick from eating raw but, when I spoke to Jeremy the owner, he answered all of my questions about the raw food and offered a few suggestions to insure my dog would have the best experience with transitioning to the raw diet. Jeremy signed me up for a loyalty program with the dog food I get called "Stella and Chewy's" so now, it keeps track of how much food I get for my dog and they offer me a free bag after the 12th bag I buy! How cool is that? I ONLY come here to buy my dog's food now! Also, side note. there's a cute little white and gray cat that walks around the store!

The owners & employees go above & beyond to help with any & all our pets needs. The kindness & compassion shown to everyone is beyond compare. I would recommend Pets To Go to anyone! They are the very best!

Love this place. I don't have to be an expert on what's good for my dog and what isn't. They've done the work for me and they don't stock the stuff that isn't good for your pet. The husband and wife who run Pets to Go are very nice and always a pleasure to work with. They helped me get passed some eating issues that I was having with my dog.

We tried a few different foods and ended up landing on a good that she eats everyday without any issues. If your dogs had a special diet, allergies to food, or something similar talk to the folks at Pets to Go. They know their stuff.

It's the only place to go if you live in EG. Quality products, great prices and top notch customer service. IPTG!

I love the products they offer here! Especially the raw hide free chewing products. I got some for chocco and he loves them! He cries for them everyday! I feel at ease letting my baby chew these, knowing they're easily digestible. The store is clean and organized. The employee are very friendly. I will be here more and more!
