Gone To The Dogs Day Care

If your pup does not cooperate they have a hard time But other than that all is well

We have been using Gone To The Dogs for over 15 years and have never had any problems until recently. Our dogs were ALWAYS well behaved and the facility always complimented us. We brought our dog in for grooming in July, my son picked up his dog and didn't have the total owed (Short $24). We advised Gone to The Dogs we would mail it in. My son decided to drop it off instead to get it to them quicker and he did and put it in their mailbox the next day!

They have cameras so they can see this! Come to December and we need another grooming. I called several times and left messages to call me back. Rudely, they ignore my calls and messages. I'm so confused as to why! I finally get through and they inform me that we are no longer welcome there and we are not allowed to return. My astonishment of why?

I was so confused? What happened? They continue to tell me that we never paid them the $24. I explained we did and my son dropped it off in their mailbox. But, honestly, more importantly than that, why in the heck wouldn't they call me to tell me anything!? They said it's not their responsibility to hound down clients. Why would I call them to discuss payment when I know we paid in July?

None of it made any sense. They are super unprofessional, rude and honestly not kind at all. I was so extremely disappointed and appalled at their meanness and unprofessionalism. To this day I'm shocked! I would never recommend them, EVER!

What a great experience this was. If your looking for a place to take your dog take it here phenomenal Grooming Tony looked very well groomed. Definitely coming to this place again highly recommended.

I only take my dog here to get his nails trimmed and they do it so fast and efficiently even though my dog is super anxious. Only place I'll go to!

I brought my 5 lb dog in twice now for a nail trim. BOTH times my dog came out with a bloody paw. Yesterday I could here the woman doing his nails yell "STOP" a couple times and "SIT STILL" loud and aggressively which I feel is no way to handle a dog already nervous to get his nails done. My dog came out shaking with this brown powder on his nail tips thats supposed to stop the bleeding.

Last night there were little blood stains all over his favorite blanket from 3 bloody paws. I soaked them in soft towels with cold water and it took several minutes for the bleeding to stop. A couple of his pads were actually bleeding too not just the nail nerve. Who yells at a little dog like that then says to the owner it was the dogs fault? I will never come back here and wish I hadn't tipped this woman or paid her at all.

Love them they have friendly staff and there great with my dogs. They do a great job.

My dog Rocco is an anxious sort. When I left him at another facility in South Lyon he was not well cared for and therefore was so uptight with grooming. After one session at Gone to the Dogs I was sold! Best grooming, happy puppy and I am so pleased with the staff. Genuine and pet loving group!
