The ladies they are awesome they really care about the dogs and cats and they get them cleaned up nice I been going there for at least 10 years

We have taken our cat Oreo here twice. Chrissy does such a great job. & We love the cute bandana Oreo comes home with. Oreo not so much. They are very reasonable & take good care of your pet. & After his grooming our cat sheds a lot less. Thanks for taking good care of Oreo

Frankford Ave location : Love them. My cats get super furry so I tend to give them semi annual trims. They never disappoint and always tell me how good my cats/dogs were.

This was my first time at The Groomin Room and first time taking Hades to the groomer since the pandemic began. I couldn't of been happier with their work and the staff - Danielle his groomer and Mandi the receptionist. Thanks for squeezing me in on Wednesday. Thank you so much for everything! Highly recommend if you are looking for a groomer!

Our cat and dog love their groomer, Chris, at the Grooming room. Very friendly staff and great service.

They do a fine job of grooming, but they don't answer their phone or return messages.

I have been taking my girls Daisy and Ellie here for years! They are the best around. They are so accommodating and are very good to my girls. they do such a great job on their CT's too!

I have a goldendoodle and this is my second time bringing him to the groomer and telling them not to shave his face just trim near his eyes because I would like to keep the golden doodle look. Prior to leaving him, the front desk staff (which was really friendly) wrote a note specifically stating not to shave his face. STILL. they did it again! No apology, just offered to give me a credit on my account for next time as if there will be a next time.

If you have a goldendoodle, I do not recommend bringing your dog here. In addition, my dog is a male and they continuously put a girl bow on him after grooming. mind you this place is a little pricey which I don't mind paying as long as it's worth it. This is not worth it! (This is Morrell location, just to clarify)

The Groomin Room is the best! My mom has taken my other pups here for years. I'm very picky, and I wanted to make sure my mini golden doodle Max got a great first haircut. Professional, fast, and reasonably priced. Thank you Nicole for giving Max a great first grooming experience!

They were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the lion cut they did on my furball looks amazing, I would definitely recommend them to others, as I now will definitely be a regular patron.

I've been looking for a new groomer for my dog Jenny for some time now. I live in Philly but use to take her to wag n wash in cherry hill since they only take one dog at a time and I know Jenny doesn't necessarily love being in a crate. With the pandemic and then wag n wash closing, I couldn't seem to find a place I felt comfortable leaving my dog jenny.

After talking to my mom who has recently taken her dog Lucy to the groomin room, she has had nothing but wonderful things to say. I was able to make an appointment the same week I called (which is so rare to find these days) and from my first phone encounter to when I dropped jenny off, everyone was so lovely. You can tell they really care about the animals. Jenny loved her groomer immediately (so sorry I forget her name) but she also did such an amazing job. Jenny was also so happy when I picked her up. The entire environment was super clean and everyone was so nice. Not to mention jenny looked so so cute! We will definitely be back. Thanks so much!

I Took my shitzu bichon mix here and I had to get them to cut her twice because the first time she didn't do it right!. I had to take my dog to the vet the following morning because she had patches of scabs with pus on her neck and chest from I believe UNSANITIZED CLIPPERS. They said she had post-grooming bacterial folliculitis-furunculosis from the grooming.

She is a well taken care of dog at home and I am devastated at the fact that this happened to her. When I walked in they all had pajamas on. However, I will say the front desk lady was very respectful.

Critical: Quality If you just want hair cut off of you pet I recommend this place. If you want a quality even cut this is not the place. My dog looked like he was free handed with the clippers with no guard. The lines ran all the way down his body, not blended and was still full of loose hair when I got home.

My kitty had his first grooming here he had to b shaved down when I picked him up he was a happy kitty I did not expect this so he will definitely return here next for his next grooming

Great experience here. They took my five cats and cocker spaniel for an emergency flea bath appointment. Very reasonable prices and fantastic customer service!

I brought my Bernese Mountain dog in for a full groom. She has weakness in her rear legs. They took their time with her, made sure she didn't get too stressed out. She looks wonderful. Very very happy with how she turned out.

They shaved my doodle! My husband specifically asked them for light haircut, to leave the head and tail long and specifically said not to shave him. He even showed multiple photos of our dog from a past great groom we had from another establishment. I burst into tears when I saw him - he looks ridiculous and it will take months to grow out. Do not bring your doodle here he will end up looking like a deer.

Took my senior dog there for the first time after our groomer unexpectedly closed with no notice. they were able to give us an appointment within a couple days of me calling. They were fast, affordable and my old lady looks great. Definitely 5 stars and happy we stumbled upon such an awesome business!

See below photos from 8/6/21 grooming appointment. What I asked for vs what I got. I showed the reference picture of the all tan puppy and greatly detailed that I wanted a full face with a rounded cut around the nose. Instead, the groomer completely shaved off all of the hair around the sides of my pup's face. There is no full look at all. I am very upset. I've been to this groomer probably four times and this is the worst cut yet.

All four times, I've shown the same photo. And it's been off every time. I think that I'm going to find a new groomer. It's a shame because they seem like nice people but I deserve to get what I paid for. For a groom to be over $50, it should be way better than this.

I took my cat Sapphire to the grooming room 3 years ago and have been going back ever since. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are warm and welcoming. They took time with her, bathed her, cut her nails and gave her the cutest little lion cut! I think they're great and would definitely recommend them for your pets grooming needs

While the groomin room does a good job grooming my dog, he got fleas after leaving there. And my dog has never had fleas in his 12 years of life and hasn't been near any other dog. My sister also took her dog there and he also came with fleas. I was hoping she was wrong but after finding fleas on my dog I'm sorry I didn't listen to her and take him so where else.

I desperately needed a groomer for my newly adopted kitten. This is my first time adopting a long hair animal so I had no idea just how matted they get. I called so many places but appointments were months out. When I called the groomin room I got an appointment in less than a week. They took such good care of my kitty and all that matted mess. I'm very happy I found my go to place so I make sure he never gets matted like that again. I highly recommend because they were pleasant from start to finish.

I've used this place to get my Persian cat his lion cuts religiously for the last 6 years. They are always easy to book and appointment with and most important it seems like they treat all the animals there the way their owners would want them treated. The prices are also very reasonable. The only reason I didn't give them the 5th star is because even after I had repeatedly told them my phone number they have continued calling one of my ex's when my cat is ready for pick up

The groomer did such a spectacular job on my dog at a fair price that I wondered if they would cut my hair too! His fur came out nice and even all the way round. Especially the fact that they only brushed and combed with a sanitary trim (no shaving since he's a samoyed). They also did an excellent job cutting his nails. The last place that I took him to did a terrible and left his nails sharp.

It was also much easier to get an appointment with the groom room. The other place I had to wait about a week verse over here I got an appointment the next day. The other store I went to also overcharged me for such a mediocre job they did. Whereas over here I got my monies worth! I also liked the fact that they had the plastic windshields set up due to pandemic. The employees were very friendly. I'd recommend this place for other pet owners and I'll be back!

Best. Service. Ever. I batted my cats myself twice and fleas seemed to just keep coming back. At the grooming room they bathed my babies and advised me to get the topical treatment she collars and now there's not a single flea on either of them! Thank you so much! I will deff be coming back with them when they need a hair cut.

Customer service is great got greeted at the door. They take great care of your pets. I never ever post reviews I just go through them to see if about a restaurant or product lol.

Absolutely love The Groomin' Room. We've been using The Groomin' Room for 6 years now and they do such an amazing job. Their communication is outstanding and we totally trust our pet with them. Even two years ago, a few days before the Eagles were in the super bowl, they went all out making sure Bella had an Eagles bandana and matching midnight green bows in her hair- she was totally ready for Superbowl Sunday - especially to eat any snacks people dropped on the floor haha. Thank you Groomin' Room for being awesome!

I called today at the last minute and they gave me an appointment the same day. My dog is nice clean and she smells great. The staff was very nice, especially Will. I will definitely return in the future. Thank you.

I had a horrible experience. I took my pup here because it was close in proximity to my new place and it was mentioned by a friend before. I walked in behind two other females and then the lady at the front desk walked away yet I was left standing there. I told the one lady, who was very nice, to do all around medium length for my pup and less off the face.

My pup was giving to me very short and extremely choppy everywhere and the face was uneven. I was so furious I had no words because I would of made a scene. In addition, I wondering why she was licking her feet so much so I gave a look. The nails look choppy as well and pieces of the nails were peeling off /broken! My heart went to the pit of my stomach for my very small pup.

I will never bring my pup here again. Yes she was cut short I could get over that.maybe, BUT the fact it was the worst cutting job I have ever seen. I would of did a better job. I felt so bad for my dog I took her for treats and a new toy. Even the manager of another pet store asked me what happened and who groomed my dog! My family and I were in rage.

The BEST paws down! Took last minute appointments, super friendly, and great prices! Not to mention turn over time was amazing. I wasn't waiting around for hours, wondering what is my dog doing. I would totally recommend to everyone! Traveled from FL Will totally bring my pooch back!

I needed a new place to get my dog groomed after her last groomer cut her paw pads really bad. They've always done a fantastic job with Sophie. Sophie always looks great, smelling delicious and with bows/bandana. They've got a great and friendly staff and they're even open on Sunday! Wouldn't take my little old gal anywhere else :

I'm trying to reply to the Manager's comment on my review. I'm unsure how to respond directly, so I'll leave it here in the hopes it will be seen. Yes, this was the Frankford Avenue location, just south of Shelmire. And the woman who groomed my puppy was Hope (I have a very good memory for names)

The ladies here are very kind and patient. I've been here once for nail trimming and once today for my dogs first full grooming. They allowed me to stay with him since he was nervous and they were super gentle with him even though he was pushy in the tub. I appreciate that they check Thier ingredients in the products they use especially cos King is very sensitive on his skin.

What made me happy is they were all so kind especially when king fought to get his nails trimmed which took three of us and I love that they used organic spray to make the animals smell bubby fresh! Thanks will return in the future!

Rating 4 stars! I am pleased. My 6lb pom/chi, Bella looks great. The staff was friendly and the price was a bit lower than petco/pets mart etc maybe about $10 which was good. My only gripe was the wait time while she was being groomed. I was told about 2 hours it ended up being around 3 hours and 45 mins. I am glad I went home and waited instead of hanging around that area waiting. We'd come back

I have been bringing my dog Taz here for the past 3 years. This staff is absolutely amazing. They have always been accommodating to me since day one because of my hours at work. Pricing is great and their work is second to none. Facility is always clean and welcoming. My dog Taz, is always happy to visit the Grooming Room. Keep up the great work and thank you!

This was my first time at the Groomin Room and I was very happy with the service I received. I have a shih tzu and it was my first time taking her for a haircut. It is a pretty retro salon and the staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly so I was immediately put at ease. I was told I would get a call in about 2.5 hours to pick her up and that was exactly right.

She was almost finished when I arrived and I couldn't be more happy with her "do". Great prices too! Much cheaper than what petco told me it would be. Thanks you to everyone who took care of my dog!
