Dioji offers a tropical refuge where your dog can play and swim with friends all day and drift off into divine slumber each night, without being caged or secluded. After a full day of play our member guests retreat to one of the luxurious overnight suites where they rest slumber party style with their friends from the day.
Loving Dioji team members spend the night right in the room with our furry guests, tending to their every need. Dogs are welcome to choose from a variety of sleeping options including elevated beds, cozy cots or even snuggling on a large bed with the Dioji staff.

Services
Traditional caged boarding kennels, lackluster indoor-only warehouse daycares and infrequent visits from dog walkers and pet sitters were not good matches for Kirby, our boisterous yellow Lab and Bailey the water-loving Newfy. We envisioned a state-of-the art facility where each dog could truly enjoy a vacation of their own, and their families would have the peace of mind that their furry family members were in the best of care, with attentive dog-lovers catering to their needs 24 hours a day.With that in mind, we set out to create Dioji, all from a dogs perspective.
This policy ensures that every dog entering the facility is fully vaccinated and is of proper temperament. On your first visit, we ask that you stay for 20 minutes while we spend time getting to your know pup and introducing them into the play space. While you wait, we will give you a tour of the facility, explain our services and answer any questions you may have. Once we have received them we will give you a call within 24 hours to schedule a facility tour and prospective member evaluation.
In addition to giving you the peace of mind that your furry pal is enjoying a wonderful stay, a play day at Dioji has many benefits for your dog!: Combats the majority of common canine behavioral problems such as chewing, digging and barking often sourced in loneliness and frustration from lack of exercise.
To ensure accommodations are available for an overnight resort stay we recommend making a reservation at least one week in advance during non-holiday periods, and two months in advance for holiday stays. Reservations may be made over the phone, via email or through our customer portal to your desired Dioji location.

My dog still hasn't recovered from this place. He keeps sleeping like he went through war. He got bit on the cheek and his paws are burned from their turf. They keep the dogs outside way to long especially in the heat. It should be illegal how many dogs they accept at once. Way to many dogs. All the staff does is oversee the dogs walking back and forth.
They don't engage nor show love or play with them. Their quick to tell you all the negative things about your dog. I wanted him at a place without crates and didn't know they crated him alot. I don't recommend this place if your dog comes from a tentative loving family. Horrible!

My dog has a blast here. The best part is not having to make a reservation in advance because as a working dog mom THINGS COME UP! It is such a relief to know that I can take my dog for day care without having to stress about calling and figuring that out. I love that they have a little pool for the small dogs. My baby always utilizes that! 4 stars because I only received photos and report cards for the first few visits and I would really like to get more photos of her. *UPDATED TO 5 STARS* because Dioji resolved me wanting more photos immediately : Just ask for pics and you shall receive! Also extra points to the wonderful staff for always being so kind to me.

My dog Duke loves Dioji. I usually drop him off in Agoura on my way to work in Santa Barbara Duke gets so excited as we approach Chesbrough a while back; I took Duke to SB with me because there's a Dioji in Santa Barbara. When we drove by Chesbrough, Duke became sad. Then I dropped him off at Dioji. He was super happy again. Now he is kind of ok with going past Chesbrough. He does give you the evil eye like he is saying, better drop me off at Dioji SB I'm going to trick him again and take him to Dioji in Goleta

Our Bailey can't get enough of this place! We've done the daycare and boarded her for a night here and it has always gone great. Every time we pull up to the parking lot our Bailey is already getting overly excited to get in (sorry Dioji staff lol). Staff is friendly, accommodating, and always professional. I know she's in good hands when I drop her off here and Bailey will be back very soon!
