Wag The Dog Daycare

Our dog came home with a huge gash in her leg, through the flesh, fascia and her muscle is visible through the more than inch long wound. We did not receive a phone call and we're not informed until late after my partners parents picked her up. Since it was so late, we have to wait until tomorrow to get her to the vet to get stitches and antibiotics. I am furious and will not be returning her to this facility.

From the reviews I had very high hopes. I stopped by to take a quick tour and meet the staff, but was quickly disappointed. The first impression is the overwhelming smell when you walk in. After listening to the initial assessment info I asked to take a quick tour of the facility. I was quickly turned down and told that they are not staffed to conduct tours on the weekend. Considering that this is a very small facility and there were no other customers, the nervous reaction to my tour request immediately raised concerns. Needless to say I won't be bringing my little guy to this business.

Wag the Dog is one of the few places I feel comfortable leaving my energetic pup when I travel. The staff remembers him by name when I call even though it can be a few months between visits. I love being able to check in on him via the webcams while he stays there. The convenient location near the airport helps as well!

The new manager is very helpful. I think the place is getting a lot better. Once you have the test done, you can book with them online now! So convenient! Definitely will bring my dog back!

A wonderful place to take your beloved Dog to stay while you work or are away on a trip. The staff are caring and loving towards the animals and they take great care and pride in everything they do. Your fur babies are 100% safe with them while you are away!

My nervous dog, Louie, always has a hard time being apart from me. In three years, he's never made a friend. that is, until he stayed at Wag the Dog. Allie is a miracle worker, and Louie lets her hold him and plays with her. It's incredible. Makes leaving him behind on trips so much easier to know how well he is cared for. Thank you WTD!

So far we have had great experiences taking our pups here for doggy daycare. I love the web cam option and the fact that the dogs aren't kenneled and can roam around to interact with one another. The owner and her staff seem to truly care about dogs and are very customer service friendly too.

Worked here many years ago. I love this place. The owner is so nice and she runs a business truly for her clients, the dogs. If i still lived in the area there is no where else i would take my pets for grooming or daycare!

I have been taking our 2 dogs to Wag the Dog for nearly 3 years and I won't take them anywhere else. Terri and the other dog wranglers treat each dog as if it was their own pet. Our dogs LOVE going to Wag the Dog, and don't like to leave in the evening. We enjoy watching them on the video cam via the internet. They also offer grooming services, and I have been very happy with the grooming they've done for me.

They've just added a new groomer, Lauren who is so wonderful. She called me this morning to make sure I was happy with the cut she gave our very old cocker, whose loose skin makes her a challenge to groom. I have never had a groomer follow up with me to make sure I was satisfied, and of course I was. If you are looking for a great place to take your dogs to have fun, or a great place to have your animals groomed (they do pets other than dogs too!) then you can't go wrong by going to Wag the Dog.

When my job relocated to Tacoma I arranged to have Terri pick up and return our dogs to our home. It's only $10.00 extra to do that, but it saves me time and gasoline so it's well worth it. Its' so nice to come home from a long day at work and find two exhausted dogs sleeping on the couch!
