At-Home Kennels Boarding

Very polite employees. My Mom's cat stay for a long time and they took good attentive care of him.

It has been a few years since I've had to board my kitty here and I wished I left a review sooner. This company and group of people are amazing for what they do. I felt sad for having to leave my kitty there for a few days but I knew she was going to be okay. Thank you for the help in the past, At-Home Kennels! And I will for sure use your kennel in the future, if need be. Also, I love the website; it has all the information I need to prep my pets for boarding and I think the extra services are beyond adorable!

We have left our dog Abby there twice. She is well taken care of. Rates are very reasonable

I live in Oro Valley and checked out a few local places, but was not happy with there kennels. I decided to drive 45 minutes east to there kennels and really was so impressed with the staff and the set up with their place. I left my dog Baby for 10 days and I could not be happier with the way they took care of her. I highly recommend them they really care about the animals and the place is spotless.

I take my Australian Shepherd there for grooming and the groomer does an excellent job, and the price is very fair. They are even kind enough to allow me to run him in one of the exercise yards before his grooming so he is extra tired. I have not had to board him, but have recommended many happy clients there. Would highly recommend!

I boarded my dog here over the holidays and I can tell that she was treated with so much care. At Home Kennels is affordable, attentive, and most importantly kind. Will absolutely use them again.

Always a great place to take our cat. They're friendly and happy to give updates on how he's doing including pictures or actually sending someone to give an "at this moment" update. Affordable. They take lots of info to make sure you can specify any emergency vet care options. Nice spaces for cats with room to move around a bit and a cat tree. Decent covid precautions as well.

I'd been in a panic - was going to be away for a full week and for the first time would be boarding my two adult dogs, , one of whom is a neurotic, anxious wreck. All the time. Even on the best of days. I chose At-Home Kennels and couldn't be more pleased. Both dogs did great, the staff was able to let me know specific details in terms of their stress levels and food in/food out. Will be much less worried the next time I need to travel. Always a great experience whenever we have to travel and board the doggos. Colin and the rest of the team remember unique traits and behaviors of the pups and interact with them accordingly. We appreciate At-Home so much and will continue to use their excellent services.

Staff went above and beyond to take care of my bunny and she was not stressed out at all when I came to pick her up (she's terrified of strangers). Highly recommend!

I was disappointed with the lack of communication from the staff about their services. We had called and visited the kennel ahead of time to make sure we knew what would be available to our dogs. We were told that on their first stay, it was okay that our dogs did not have the leptospirosis vaccine (our vet did have any open appointments soon enough) and that we would just need it before their second visit.

They told us our dogs would be able to get walks and outside time. However, when they day came to drop them off while we were traveling, we were told that because they did not have this particular vaccine they would not be allowed to leave their kennel. It broke my heart to think of my dogs stuck in a little kennel with no time outside. We also arranged to have them cut their nails but I don't believe they did.

Always take such good care of my dogs and have extra services like walks and scrambled egg breakfast that my dogs love!

Our dog stayed here for a week, and he came back home very happy. I booked his stay through Facebook, they were very prompt, professional, and informative. While we were picking him up, I noticed a staff member walking a dog with such patience and attention. Even though I was informed that to have him socialize with other dogs a shot was required, I appreciate the one on one attention offered to him. I was glad to know that the attention, patience and love that dog was receiving, my dog did as well while we were away. Thank you!

We booked a stay for 2 nights given the high google reviews, but this establishment is the equivalent of an outdoor shelter with kennels isolating each dog all day and only 2-3 opportunities for a solo bathroom break outside. There is no opportunity for playtime or socialization, and the dogs were alone in their kennels outside all day with nothing to do but bark at each other through the bars. Would absolutely not recommend for any dog.

We have used At Home Kennels to board our dog when we go out of town for a couple of years. Our pit bull starts wagging her tail madly when we get close to the kennel. She loves it there. We also get her bathed and her nails trimmed there and they do a great job.

Our mini pin Bruno spent some time there recently and he was well taken care of by the devoted staff. Our cats are there now and are also doted on by the kind staff. A good home away from home!

I like knowing there is a safe in/out area for each dog, without coming in contact with another dog.

First time leaving our dog anywhere since we adopted him last year. At-home kennels was amazing not only to us but to our fur baby. They kept me posted with updates on how he was doing. Didn't make me feel silly asking a ton of questions or even when I called while out of town to see how he was doing. They even sent me pictures of him. I can't say enough great things about At-home kennels. They are top notch and we will refer them to everyone we know and will continue to use them. A++++++++

Many good things can be said about this kennel! My dog is high maintenance and special needs. This kennel always does an an amazing job with her. Shes prone to bloody diarrhea even when family watches her. Not here. She even had a medical emergency while i was gone (nothing to do with the kennel). They handled it phenomenally and helped me feel good and sleep well while on vacation while she was on their hands.

Our dog, Heidi, wound up having an extended stay because we were in the middle of moving. The staff were extremely accomodating and went above and beyond in assisting us where they could with our Aussie's stay. Shannon put us on the waiting list and called when there was an opening. Very efficient, friendly and affordable. While our Aussie was there, Michelle also did a great job grooming her.

Can't say enough great things about the folks there. Our Aussie, Heidi, acted like she had been at a spa. Will always use At-Home Kennels whenever possible. Their service is top notch! Thanks so much for making this an easier transition!

Customer service was amazing. I received a ton of information from a very warm and friendly employee when I called for information about a reservation. It gave me the confidence to book a stay for my dogs. A week prior to their stay, the kennel called to check in with me and make sure I knew exactly what type of vaccinations my dogs needed and the documentation to bring in.

Check in was thorough and I was told to call anytime to check on my pups. When I picked them up they were happy and I was given a run down on how each of them did during their stay. It was clear the employees had spent time with my dogs and paid attention as they feedback given described their personalities and mannerisms perfectly. I travel frequently for work and will be booking with them in the future.

Due to our cat being recently diagnosed with diabetes we were unsure what we were going to do due to a couple trips that we had planned prior to his diagnosis. We searched for places that would take amazing care of him while we were gone and be able to give him his insulin shots twice a day and feed him following that. We found great reviews for At Home Kennels!

We are so happy we found them! We know if we ever have to go out of town he will be in great hands! They told us that we were welcome to call to check in on him as much as we wanted. It was a great comfort and they were so kind and accommodating! I would highly recommend them!

They have very poor policies and have no inspiration to change them to benefit their customers, so I will know longer be a customer of At Home Kennels. They also only like to tell you about the policies while they're penalizing you for them. I left my dog there one night and the next day they would not let me pay for the day care fee instead. charging me for an additional overnight.

Then again my dog was there for less than 24 hours and they charged me for two nights, because I picked her up after the deadline. Other kennel places have a late fee or a half-day fee. This one would not even discuss any options and just charged me and said I was wrong. I spoke with the manager he also said I was wrong, nothing like being the customer and being told your wrong. There is policies and there is good judgment and being reasonable they need to find the later.

At Home Kennels is the only kennel in Tucson where I will take my dogs. They love the dogs, and because of that, they take care of their psychological and physical needs. They keep a clean facility and each kennel for the medium size and large dogs has a private outdoor run. Very conscientious and courteous staff! Our dogs are family - they do. not get to go anywhere else - only to At Home Kennels.

And did I mention that they get excited and happy when I turn into the driveway to drop them off? And they are excited to see us when we pick them up. Just the way it should be! Oh! And they get five stars from me! The only kennel we have taken our dogs to for the past fifteen years!

I just want to take a moment and praise a business. Ozzy stayed at a kennel called At Home Kennels. I was scared of course leaving my boy with strangers. But these people allowed me to call & check on him. Even gave me the word I needed to properly describe him to his vet. They even sent an email with a picture of my boy playing in the yard &. understood his obsession with the hose.

He took a daily walk and they made sure he got his daily meds. Well I just got a card from them today with messages from each staff member saying so sorry and some with little extra somethings. If I should ever need to leave for any reason Jameson will go there. God to find such a caring place just sold me to recommend them to whoever listens. Thank you guys for everything!

This place is wonderful. I have been taking my dogs here for several years. They love going to At Home Kennels. The staff is great. They all are knowledgeable about animal care. They are great with all the "clients". I have a couple of dogs that have a few issues and the staff are so good and patient with them. I use AHK for day boarding and extended boarding.

My dogs are also groomed there and the Groomer is awesome. Highly recommend At Home Kennels to everyone. Plus they were voted best Boarding Facility 2017 by Tucson Daily Star. Thank you to the AHK staff!

My dog is a German shepherd that we rescued a few years ago, and she was severely abused and had terrible issues; trust, separation anxiety, etc. we went on a trip for 3 weeks and needed somewhere to take her where she would be cared for, and we are extremely happy with our experience here. They administered her medicine, she was taken on walks and played with, and had a decent amount of space in her indoor/outdoor run. When we picked her up she even walked back to the staff she liked them so much! We would definitely bring her here again in the future. Glad to have my happy pup back!

My Brussels Griffon just got groomed! She looks great! Everybody was very nice. I highly recommend getting your pets groomed here!

Absolutely the best. We just moved from Oklahoma to Tucson, so I was worried about finding a new boarder but this place exceeded all our expectations. I love how when I call to check on my dogs that they actually know who they are and how they're doing- complete with personal stories. I know they're in good hands and they seem to be very happy boarding at At-Home. Highly recommend!

My dog Hartford (Harfy) and I love this place. Moved to Tucson a year ago and have used At-Home kennels 5-6 times. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I feel comfortable leaving my dog here. It's nice they know my dog by name and what she likes etc. This place is always busy so there are a lot of people out there who trust this company with there pets. I'm one of them. My dog was happy to see me after daycare here. Not sure they took him out much as he peed a LOT after being there 8 hours. Supposedly he was taken out 3 times. Both times Asimov got very excited when he saw my car. For me this is OKAY for daycare if I must but A NO-GO for my long upcoming trip.

Man. I've never left my babies before. I have left them twice in the past month. Once driving to NM, and once for a week while I was in Alaska. The first thing I noticed was that they loved on all of the animals. That's nice to see. They ask about little things like making your animals eggs in the morning etc. My dogs came home happy and well cared for.

They smelled like kennel, but had a bath at home when we got there. The rates were wonderful. My only recommendation is to maybe have a staging area or drop off for dog on dog aggressive dogs (my senior citizen boxer thinks he needs to eat all of the dogs. He's quite cranky.) #doglivesmatter. I highly recommend this place overall.

We had tried a number of kennels in Tucson, before we found At Home Kennels (AHK). They are simply the best. The care and attention they gave our pups was incredible - we couldn't believe they use premium food and take the dogs out twice a day for the price. From knowing our dogs by name, to specialized medical needs, to holiday dinners, AHK is the best. Their grooming is also phenomenal too - our pups were never so soft!

The At-Home Kennels staff are exceptionally caring and competent. We have used many different kennels where we have lived in different parts of the country and At-Home is without doubt the best. We have used At-Home for around ten years with two different dogs. Our current dog is a "special needs" Beagle who is insulin-dependent and requires eye drops.

The staff are not only "dog people" who go out of their way to make your dog comfortable and meet their every need, they are extremely competent and knowledgeable regarding the care of animals. Walks, grooming, eggs for breakfast, and other extras put At-Home Kennels ahead of the pack. Your dog gets his/her own "room with a patio" and gets to play in the large yard at times during the day. They will even pick up and deliver your pet if you need door-to-door service. We would definitely recommend At-Home Kennels for your furry kids.

At-Home Kennels provides amazing love and support to the pets who stay there. We have a diabetic dog who requires, blood tests, medications, and injections and they handle it without problem. They follow up with any questions and are attentive to the needs of the pets. They provide a wide variety of services and are very affordable. We call tell our pups they are going to the puppy Spa and they get excited. They love their visits to At-Home Kennels. We cannot thank At-Home Kennels for all they do!
