Lucky Dog Resort

I didn't actually board here personally but I DID pick up my friend's dog from boarding so I could watch her the rest of the week, and she was amazingly happy, had made a lot of friends, and was well taken care of - and my friends with the drop off and her test stay were just raving about the place. They were also exceptionally kind to me and remembered that I was supposed to pick her up despite not being the actual owner!

My dog is a member of my family. I trust leaving him at Lucky Dog Resort. Greg and Melissa are wonderful with him.

Our two labradoodles Rover & Velvet love Lucky Dog Resort and so do we. We know that when we go out of town or on vacation our pups are very well cared for and are in fact having a vacation of their own. Last year we moved to Vancouver WA and happily drive back to Lucky Dog resort each time we go away as they simply can't be matched and we have piece of mind knowing they are cared for.

I had a last minute trip and called around to several different kennels for our corgi brother and sister. After several calls and reviews I decided on Lucky Dog Resort. First, it's located just a few miles from where I live in Monroe/Snohomish. Second their charge to house 2 dogs was far more reasonable than any other places in the area. Lastly, Melissa was responsive to all my calls and emails.

Their business is there home so someone is there pretty much all the time. They separate the big dogs from the little ones and everyone has their own place. Plenty of room in the backyard to run and play and they have a pool. I highly recommend Lucky Dog Resort.

My pug Lulabelle (aka Lulu) has been coming here for ten years! She LOVES Melissa and Greg and loves Lucky Dog. She's become quite resource-guarding and cranky in her old age, but as soon as we pull into the roundabout, she eases into her old self and can't wait to get into their house! I'm so grateful to them for taking such good care of her, and now of our new pug puppy, Captain. Greg and Melissa live at home with the dogs they take care of, so you know your little guys and girls will be well cared for.

We wouldn't go anywhere else (even if Snohomish is a bit of a drive! :)). Re: the guy whose dog was sent home for all-night barking on Christmas: I've known Lucky Dog's owners for years, and if they sent your dog home it was for a very good reason. They do NOT take that situation lightly. Hopefully this helped you realize how serious your dog's barking was, and got some help/training with separation anxiety!

Friendly pet boarding and daycare. It is in a residential area so quieter then in a main area. The owners are friendly and organized and dogs are treated like family.

All I did was fill out an application for my mutt and Boston terrier. And they were quick to turn my mutt down because I was guessing he may have some rottweiler. He goes to the dog park all the time and is a gentle boy. It's so sad that places are quick to judge. Maybe have a seperate area if your unsure of mutts but don't be so judgmental.

Lucky Dog Resort is truly the best! We've taken our large pup to a few other boarding facilities, but this is the only one where we can drop him off and feel good knowing he is safe and cared for. The dogs here also get much more outside play time than at most other places. We drive 30 minutes out of our way to board our dog here. It's worth it!

Staff cares for and about dogs. They are also top flight at dealing with pet owners idiosyncrasies. We have boarded Auggie at Lucky Dog for years and are very comfortable with the care.

Melissa was wonderful. We did a trial stay with our dog and while it didn't work out as our pup had too much anxiety in the kennel, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Clean and beautiful facilities. Dogs are well loved and out running and playing 6 times a day.

We've been bringing our dog, Jax, to Lucky Dog Resort for most weekends during the summer. He gets so excited to go and see his new friends! When we pick him up, it's very obvious that he's treated well and cared for by Melissa and Greg. We feel very lucky to have found them!

Having used these folks before, I thought it would be a great place for my dog. I was wrong. Within an hour of dropping her off, the owner called and informed us that she was barking too much and that it would aggravate the others and ruin her Christmas. This is a boarding place for dogs. Dogs bark. Dogs especially bark, whine, or howl when they are in unfamiliar settings.

It stops when they get used to it. Needless to say, I needed to find another place for my dog to be boarded, which is not an easy task at 5:30pm the night before I fly out. Luckily, my vet also boards dogs (at a much higher rate). Turns out, just before I got to Lucky Dog, my dog stopped barking (go figure). This has now cost me 2 hours of driving and a significantly higher rate for boarding. I would not recommend this place.

Melissa and Greg were so kind and accommodating, even during the busy Thanksgiving week. It is evident they care a great deal about the well-being of the dogs they care for. They took great care of my terrier mix, who is usually pretty high-energy. He came home nice and calm, ready to sleep! Melissa also quickly answered emails and sent updates. Thank you both so much!

Best place to take dogs! Melissa and her husband do an outstanding job taking care of my babies. They get to play multiple times a day, sleep inside, and get treats.

Lucky Dog is wonderful. They are clean, safe and do a wonderful job watching the dogs. Our dog's first visit was a 10m day stay and we felt content leaving her there. When we did come to pick her up she was so excited to see the people she had been staying with that she ignored her mommies for a few minutes. I take that as a really good sign. They are also high tech and have a wonderful computer system that reminds you about vacinnations coming due etc. You can tell they really love what they do.

The BEST! Thank you so much for watching our dogs! I am one of the crazy dog owners that either travel with my dogs or has a relative watch them. It was not in the cards this time and Melissa took great care of our dogs (as well as put up with my nearly daily emails checking on them). It's such a relief to have found a clean, safe, loving place for my dogs to stay when I'm away. I really can't thank her enough for everything, especially the peace of mind I now have.

They kept my dog for two weeks while we went off on vacation, the dog seemed as healthy when we got him back as when he was left, smelled as clean as when i dropped him off too. the cost was even better, for the cost of boarding they will allow the dogs to play during the day.
