Annemarie is an office manager who helps make sure that everything runs smoothly at the hospital. She manages inventory, the staff and assists the doctors as needed. Annemarie loves building relationships with clients and their pets and assisting in educating them how to give their pets the best life possible.

I have been going to this vet for two years now. It started well, but it is going downhill. My dog got a lump removed recently, and it took me two phone calls and 25 days to find out it was not a bad cancerous lamp. Unfortunately, when I called two weeks after the surgery, I was told they forgot to send the lamp to the pathology lab. They went silent for another ten days.
I had to call yet again. They had to call me back the same night. On the phone, they asked about my dog vomiting. My dog had not had such a problem. I asked for a record of lab results by email, and they sent me the document of the day of surgery. They never apologized.

THEY. WERE. WONDERFUL! Showed up with a hedgehog with little notice, was seen quickly and professionally! And the cost for a visit for a new exotic patient, on an emergency basis, including check-up, observation, stool sample and meds was $150 -- /less/ than the cost of her annual check-up for an ongoing client at the Avian and Exotic vet in Metarie! That vet is really good too.but I think I will be switching to Magazine St. Animal Hospital for all of our pets!

All of the staff here is so wonderful and friendly, even on their busiest days, from the front desk staff to the vet techs and DVMs. They offer drop-off appointments, making sure your pet gets seen when needed even if they don't have open appointment slots. Dr. Bridget in particular is exceptionally kind and caring with my dog (and me). She always takes her time to talk with me about anything and everything that could be going on with my dog. We are lucky to have such great service available to us! Highly highly recommend!

Have had several bad experiences here with our pets, including unnecessarily delaying care for an acute condition to "confirm" a diagnosis which had already been agreed on by two previous vets. Vet techs seem incompetent, they are terrible at communication and often give conflicting and inaccurate information about the planned course of treatment and your pet's condition. We have had good interactions with Dr. Kevin who has dealt with several of our dog's issues and seems very thorough and knowledgeable.

I have been going to this clinic for over ten years and my dogs have seen many of the doctors there. Each of them has been very thurough in examining the issues, they give options and suggest what they recommend but allow you to comfortably make your own decision. They are very caring and explain things well. We mostly see Dr. Johanna whom we love. Their schedule is great since they are open outside of normal business hours and on the weekend. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else. Love them.

My dog was getting worse and worse with her allergies. It got really bad today. I called around and was able to get my dog into Magazine street animal hospital. They saw her and treated her so quickly. She had bulgy red eyes when I took her in. When I picked her up she was happy and looked 100x better. The Vet talked with me directly about her which I really appreciated. Everyone treated my dog with love. We will be back.

Dr. Johanna at Magazine St. Animal Clinic is by far the best vet we have been to, and we are so grateful to have found her! She is SOO good with our oldest dog, a rescue pit mix who can be fearful/awkward in public, and we are so happy to have a great vet to bring our recently adopted puppy to as well. Her clinical judgment is excellent and she always uses the best research/evidence to inform her practice. She goes above and beyond for her patients and it is so nice knowing that our dogs have such an awesome doctor!

Where do I start with how thankful I am for this wonderful clinic?! Long story short. here on a weekend trip, found an emaciated stray dog in need of immediate TLC. After a couple of attempts for help at other places where we were treated rudely we called this clinic and right away were shown compassion and understanding of our situation. We were able to get the sweet pup in for treatment and an overnight stay, as we were staying in the Quarter.thank you thank you thank you! "Nola" will be returning to Louisville with us tomorrow!

My Australian Shepherd got a metal shard stuck in his foot and was in a tremendous about of pain from it. I've been taking him to Southern Animal Foundation all 9 years of his life and couldn't be happier with their service and care. They were fully booked for the next couple days when Finn needed treatment but referred me over to Magazine Animal Clinic, who were able to see us the same day. Every aspect of their service, staff, facilities and treatment were absolutely stellar. 10/10

I want to thank Magazine Animal Clinic and Dr. Bridget and nurse who came to our home yesterday to help my beloved dog cross over. They were kind and sympathetic and respectful and I highly recommend when it's your pets time. They have cared for my pet for 8 years, saved her from breast cancer and my other pets from everything else. Thank you again.

Magazine Street Animal Clinic took in my porch kitty last minute today and tended to his eye injury. They went above and beyond to give him a thorough work up, even keeping him after hours to get the job done. I take my own cat here and it's an excellent experience every time, even with a kitty that hates the vet. I really appreciate their kindness, the individual relationships they foster with the animals that come in, and their clear and detailed communication. Can't recommend them enough.

I LOVE MSAC! Dr. Theresa is thorough, kind, and kept me in up to date when my dog had an emergency. She and her team are willing to answer worried dog mama's questions patiently and, when I moved out of state, amazingly quick at sharing the records. The new vet in a new state is fine, but no match for the professionalism and care my dog got at MSAC!
