Countryview Kennels is the largest and most modern indoor/outdoor boarding facility in West Tennessee. We are located in Jackson, Tennessee, about one-half mile East of the McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport on Highway 70 West (The Brownsville Highway). Our slogan, "We Care About Your Pets" is taken very seriously by our staff, and you can be sure that when you leave your dog or cat with us they will be given loving, quality care.

CountryView started out with 56 indoor/outdoor runs for dogs and a 12 cat cattery.

Boarding Report

Dogs stay in indoor/outdoor runs that are appropriate for their size. Our largest runs can accommodate up to three Labrador-size dogs from the same family. The indoor area is heated and air conditioned, and the temp is controlled between 65 and 80 degrees year around. Both the indoor and outdoor portion of the run are separated from other dogs by concrete block walls to 40 inches high, and chain link fence panels to 74 inches.

Reception Report

Upon arriving you will enter a spacious and inviting Reception Area where you can relax and watch the fish in our freshwater fish tanks while picking up or dropping off your pet. In our reception area we also offer a line of top quality pet treats to select from and purchase for your pet to enjoy during their stay. In addition you will find shampoos and flea and lice products and other animal related items for your convenience.

DogWatch Report

We can design, install, and service the DogWatch brand of electronic hidden fence system. This is a proven way to keep your dog on your property 24 hours a day. It has been thoroughly tested for safety and is recommended by many veterinarians throughout the U.S. The system keeps an eye on your dog by transmitting a coded radio signal through a boundary wire installed around your yard at ground level or just below. The harmless signal is picked up by a lightweight, waterproof receiver collar tuned only to the signal from the boundary wire.

Grooming Report

We offer bath and brush out for all our boarding pets, as well as for dogs and cats that are not boarding, but make bath appointments. We can almost always accommodate bath customers on a same day basis (call first). Bathing includes a thorough shampoo using our state-of-the-art Hydrosurge Bathing System.

This was our first time to use Countryview Kennels to board two adult German Shepherds. We were very pleased and will definitely use again.
