We have a do-it-yourself dog wash, holistic pet foods and all aspects of fun toys and outdoor gear for cats and dogs. Our shop is headquarters for our at-home pet sitting and dog walking services as well.

Locals ~ Does your dog want to get more exercise and socialization? Sign her up for a walk with Homer Hounds! We offer both private walks and group walks for local dogs Monday - Friday. Private walks are available from 9:30 - 10:30 am and from 3 - 4 pm. Group walks take place twice daily - the first group runs from roughly 11 am - 1 pm, and the second group runs from roughly 1 pm - 3 pm.
We do not offer drop in daycare. If you are just visiting, please check out our page on dog walking to arrange for your dog to be walked while you are out having fun! Does your dog love playing with other dogs all day? Sign him up for doggy daycare! We offer doggy daycare Monday - Thursday from 10 am - 5 pm.
Leaving home and can't take your furry friends along? Leave them at home where they are safe and comfortable, and we'll take care of them while you are away. Homer Hounds offers home visits for all types of pets and livestock while they are home alone. This service is especially popular with cats as many of them would prefer not to travel.

Our dog Berry absolutely loves her time at Homer Hounds! The people there are so kind and sweet, and the fact they will come pick up Berry from our house is just icing on the cake! We had to wait a little bit to get her a spot with Homer Hounds, but after sending Berry there I see why they have a waitlist. This place is awesome for doggy day care. Highly recommend!

Thoughtful and professional. Homer is lucky to have this business in town! They know my dog, her needs, her preferences. When I go out of town all I have to do is email the dates I need house visits and I return home to a clear invoice, notes about how it went, and a happy dog. One note even described a change in my dog's drinking behavior and encouraged me to monitor and check in with the vet if necessary.
My only suggestion would be to have dog walkers check in once with owners through text, email or phone when caring for pets for an extended period, such as when owners are out of town. I have requested that in the past and it didn't always happen.
