Services
Puppy Love, owned and operated by husband and wife Nancy and Sean Silverman, is not a franchise. Nancy and Sean are on the premises 6 - 7 days per week and the store is filled with their personal care and attention. Our staff will be glad to help you and answer all your questions. Staff members are in the shop 12 hours per day, 7 days per week during holidays, rain, shine, or snowstorm, caring for the puppies. At Puppy Love, our employees are responsible adults who are caring, knowledgeable and experienced.

While we have been working closely with the same breeders for over 20 years, many puppies are also available from our own private kennel - Welcome to Captiva Kennel - the home of high quality and adorable Yorkshire Terriers, Red Miniature Poodles, Shih tzus and Miniature Dachshunds! We have been dog lovers since childhood and have been actively involved in showing dogs and raising puppies since 1996.
We do not use the term "teacup" as it is not an accurate representation of toy breeds. Toy Breeds (i.e Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua, Maltese, Pomeranian etc) are supposed to be small; averaging between 3-7 lbs full grown. There is a misunderstanding that "local" breeders means better. This is definitely not true.

Couldn't have been more happy with going to Puppy Love! We immediately knew which dog we wanted by the awesome setup of the website and love and energy he gave when we got into the place to get him. Dave couldn't have been more awesome to work with. He was informative about all the puppies pet records and answered any questions we had. He even explained every vaccination to me knowing how upset I was to losing a prior dog to parvovirus (not from Puppy Love).
Me and my fiance already discussed going here for other furry family members in our future. Thank you so much for this experience. also, this is my daughters first dog and they made this happen with no issues

We just bought a Shiffon puppy from this place and everything went very well! We love our lil pup! Today he had his first vet visit and he is in perfect health! We tried for months and months to adopt a dog that really needed a home, but because of the pandemic every place was super strict or didn't have any dogs at all which was very surprising. It was not easy that is why we decided to buy one.
The person who I think was the owner was very helpful he went over all the paperwork and made sure we read every page and understood everything we were signing. He gave us a bunch of free food a free collar, leash and a toy! Our pup loves all his toys! It has been less then a week and Milo is already potty trained. He is such a well behaved puppy and he listens! Couldn't imagine our life now without him! It feels like we have had him much longer then we have! Thank you puppy love for our new family member!

I must admit I was very skeptical when my spouse wanted to get a puppy from here. I've always been told "adopt don't shop" and that all pet stores source their dogs from sketchy puppy mills and come to your house on death's door. Thankfully that has not been our experience. Our sweet cockapoo puppy came with paperwork detailing where she was born and I was able to look them up on Facebook and see that she came from a nice clean kennel.
The store employee was upfront about the fact that many of the puppies may develop kennel cough and need deworming and that's totally normal. Our cockapoo is very sweet and smart. She's been a lovely addition to our family. I'm glad I gave this place a chance. Adopting a dog is great too but if you want a specific breed of puppy then this is a good place to go.

BEST PUPPY came from here! After looking at multiple breeders and stores we bought Lucas. I have had many puppies and so far he is the best. he uses puppy pads from day 1. This is a multi animal house-- dogs, cats, snakes, tarantulas, hamsters. He fit right in his place. He loves my adult son. I can't say enough good things about how social these pets are:

I just adopted the sweetest most well behaved corgi puppy from puppy love! The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable and it was obvious how much he cares about the well being of the dogs. The open top cages create a laidback environment and you are free to pet all the dogs you want, which is not only fun for the customers but also helps socialize the puppies.
The process of adopting our baby was quick and painless, we called at around 4pm and left with our new family member at around 5:30pm the same night. We also went to two other pet stores first and they wanted 4600$ and 5000$ for their puppies, the price of our AKC ACA certified corgi from puppy love was 3000. We thought this was extremely reasonable given the convenience, generous warranty, and pedigree of the puppy. I would definitely recommend puppy love! Brought our 2nd male shitzu home yesterday. Our first one Ruckus we got from somewhere else. Our new one Oakley is from puppy love and its safe to say me my husband and our 2 year old pup Ruckus are ALL OBSESSED. We are so in love with our little boy Oakley and he is one happy pup. Back in 2003, my mother and I came to puppy love to purchase a new furry friend! We came in and chose our Boston Terrier, Baxter. He was the most amazing dog anyone could have asked for, completely healthy, smart, so well behaved and loving. He passed away last week at the age of 13. I would absolutely recommend anyone who is looking for a puppy to Puppy Love.
Our little man brought so much joy to our lives. We will be back to puppy love when the time is right to add another addition to our family. Thank you for giving us the best puppy!

Exceptional experience! Customer for life! My family recently visited Puppy Love in hopes of bringing home one of their Frenchies when they arrived in June. Let me preface this by saying I've had dogs (usually in multiples) my entire life and some of our animals came to me from breeders and some from rescues so this is not my first rodeo going through this process.
I can't explain how impressed I was with this experience. Puppy Love exceeded any expectations I had. Everyone at Puppy Love is very knowledgeable and patient and made it effortless and so much fun. I should also mention my husband and I not only bought their Male Fawn Frenchie but an English Bulldog also that day and my brother visited shortly after and got our Frenchie's sister.
The puppies have adjusted amazingly at home and are sweet, healthy, and very adorable new additions. Getting a new puppy is such an exciting time and it was just the icing on the cake to have had the pleasure of dealing with seriously great people who run a responsible operation with so many beautiful well cared for fur babies. Kudos Puppy Love! It's nice to see someone getting it right!
